No more cruisers

Mirrored MM right in your face! It's all you guys have been crying for.

If I take a DD I see a match with lot of DDs and few other ships.

If I take a cruiser I see matches like no BB at all.

If I take out a BB I see a game with 4 BBs on each side, no or 1 cruiser and rest DDs.

 

MM is even more f*d up now.

It's usually 3-4 cruisers at tier 10.

 

There were plenty of cruisers at tier 8 too.

I played to rank 10 on the first day (yay for a National holiday on the first day of the season) and there where plenty cruisers there. I had 3 games without any BBs.... and only 1 game with 1 cruiser per side.

I haven't played much at the T10 yet, but the few games had at least 2 cruisers per side.

i don't get it at all. i don't see more than 1 bb per team at tier 10

This dependes on the cruiser. Hipper and Eugene for example are execelent for tier.8 ranked.

You do not really need radar in Ranked. But yes Mogami is solid choise for everything. But considering that in tier.8 ranked you mostliy meet French or German BBs, with 15.inch guns, so most optimal choise would be Prinz Eugene or Hipper.

I'm seeing a lot of North Carolina's and Alabama's, even the occasional Amagi and Kii, but yes KM and FR BB's in numbers. The mix of cruisers (when there are any) is varied.

I only play New Orleans as its my only tier 8 ship. Randoms wasn't even this bad, and then I vsed against t10s very often. This is pure hell. Such small maps and almost smock full of bbs that can one shot you from across the map. FROM NEAR SPAWN. At least I always play vs 1 or 2 cruiser on other side but its not rewarding at all. And there is hardly no way for me to out-damage an bb. Hence I hardly never get the loss with keeping star. I have no torps, no nothing. Hardly no dmg on bbs. Fires is my best bet but with that rate of fire? I have been complaining on forum about this. But if you want to get out of t8 matches. BB all the way. Stay back behind all allies and take pot-shots. You will keep the star in a loss and basically free game. 

 

I feel like t8 is cruiser hell. The bbs are way too strong compared to my little cruiser lol. Even have a hard time killing destroyers sometimes with that rate of fire until radar turns off. I'm sorry I'm just so angry haha. Its that tier 8 cliff or something, not seen it on other tiers as much. Just my 2 cents and sorry for my ranting. Maybe a better player can carry these tier 8 games with New Orleans but I just have such a hard time and I can honestly say I'm starting to "hate" the damn ship and might wait until next season to give this game another go :(.

Edit: in one of my recent games with one of the open maps. I took a shot on one and immediately 7 people targeting me haha. Survived but had to go waaay back and reposition.

Like I sayed before, you just have do choose right ship. 

 

Hipper, for example, has no problem in BB infested meta, it is actually easier than Random.Because ship that can ovematch her armor are rare.

Thanks for info. Never been so sad I got stuck on the US line lol. I'l keep a closer watch when next season starts and be better prepared if I still play.

Tier 8 I tend to agree with you.

Tier X...not so much. Usually 2 BB 4 CA 1 DD with the odd CV thrown in every 100 games or so.

Tier X is an unbelievable long-range HE BBQ Fiesta and God help you if you have no HE spammer (Zao, Hindi, DesMo, MegaZao, Henri)

Skilled Tier X CA players (Hindenburgs especially) run rings around the BBs no problem.
