    Winning Battles in Random.

    Has anyone else noticed a trend regarding players prioritising sinking or scoring points rather than trying to win the Battle for the team in Random Battles. Call me sus' but I'm seeing this more and more which doesn't lend itself to encouraging team players if there is no reward for winning, when scoring by hitting other ships gives a player what they need to progress. I think what I'm suggesting is a separate reward for Winning. Am I nutz and got it all wrong?

    Is the Navy Go contest broken

    I know that we are only 3 days into the Go Navy contest but I feel like there are some problems with it, causing it to be Broken. These are 1) The fact that you can choose which team you are on everyday. It should have been the case, that at the beginning of the contest you choose your team and you stayed on that team to help it win. 2) Before you choose your team at the start of your first battle, you are shown how much it is winning by. This will encourage players to pick the team that is already winning, thus causing that team to have more players scoring points for it. It is human nature to want to be on the winning team. This leads onto: 3) Why was the option to change teams even given at all, and why are you rewarded for it with a container? People will change teams just to get a container. The loyalty bonus is not sufficient to tempt, well loyalty. 4) I chose to be on the Eagles team at the beginning of the contest and at the time of writing they have not won a single day. In fact they are losing by nearly 8 million points. Now i know some people will say " your only complaining because your team is losing/ not very good". I'm not complaining about that, I can just as easily pick the Sharks tomorrow and be on the winning team. It seems a silly way to conduct a " Contest" when everyone can switch teams when they want and be rewarded for it. If you had to pick your team and stay with it throughout the whole contest, then people would have a sense of pride and accomplishment at the end of the contest. What are your views on this, am I missing the point or am I making a valid point.

    [Idea] Win/Loss streak rewards

    Sometimes we winning 2, 3, 4 or more battles in a row on same or different ships. Sometimes we have bad days, hell no MM, detonations on first salvo and defeats with 200k damage and Kraken, I have an idea how to reward players, who win or loss 3+ matches in a row: For 3rd, 4th and other wins in a row on same ship - +20% credits for each win above third inclusive. It`s not a disballance reward, but good opportinity for earnd more credits For 3rd, 4th and other wins in a row on different ships - +10% credits for each win above the third inclusive An exception for 1 and 2 - If you have win streak on 1.Atago, 2.Lexington, 3.Bismark, 4.Bismark, 5.Bismark you earn +30% credits for 5th win (10%+20%) For 3rd, 4th and other losses in a row - -10% to the cost of the ship's post-battle repair. This feature is an interesting things for weekly missions/events (win streak exactly, no loss streak), future campain missions and will help to latten out disappointment of multiple defeats. What do you think?

    I just can't win.

    Hi! So, i just want to vent right now, that's all. The image speaks for itself really, and i'm on a borderline depression, because of todays matches. (There's more lost matches besides the ones in the pic.) I don't know how to put it, but i know i f***ing suck, and i've done everything to combat that (guides, tuts, info.) but it seems that i actually just suck. :,) I'm just a mess atm, and anyone that could provide me with anything, would be greatly appreciated in this dire time. I'm generally most interested in BB's ('cause Yamato). Cruisers etc. seems boring to me. (Well, it might just be, that i suck at BB's, and should try out the others, but it's just not really me. It might be more fun for me, but it's not what i want.) also how do i combat depression Regards

    Misson question

    I got a daily mission to get 20k credits with 2 wins. I lost 4 games, didn't won one while I had the misson, I went back to the port and I didn't have any mission, so it was completed. How?

    Finally the perfect match

    After crying yesterday from a bad round of games in the North Carolina, I have finally had the perfect game (in my opinion) and my best game in this ship so far. Oh and the 3x bonus was brilliant. Have a looksee: Thanks for your tips yesterday, they helped in some way..

    Win Rates

    Regarding Win Rates According to WOW Win Rates: 1. Win rate is based on all wins, losses, and ties, not just the latest 100 battles. 2. The record of battles of a ship is taken into a count of overall win rate regardless of whether it is on the account or not. 3. Once victory will go into the overall count of wins and losses. Once victory will go into the overall count of wins and losses. The person who has played 10,000 games (bad or good) has to play ten times the amount of games as the 1000 game player to raise or lower their WR 1%. How does that make sense? The fact that there are 12 ships in a game would seem to require some considerations Consider the following suggestions: 1. Have the Win Rate only look at the last 100 games for each ship. 2. Regarding ships that are sold, they should not be included in the overall win rate unless the customer wants it to be. ( if it may have a good win rate) 3. So much of winning or losing a battle is determined by the combined effort and performance of 12 players, so it does not matter how good or bad you performed. Consider making a loss not be included in the win rate if your ship was in the top 3-5. Interesting Replys Do not proceed if you did not pass Junior High 101 Algebra Attached please find the Math to understand Win Rates It breaks down to the following: As a relatively new player, if you played 1000 games and had a 50% win rate, you would have to WIN 20.4 consecutive battles without a loss to have a 51% Win Rate As a more experienced player, if you had played 10,000 games, you would have to WIN 204 consecutive battles to have a 51% Win Rate and, As a relatively new player, if you played 1000 games and had a 30% win rate, you would have to WIN 15 consecutive battles without a loss to have a 31% Win Rate As a more experienced player, if you had played 10,000 games, you would have to WIN 145 consecutive battles to have a 31% Win Rate If World of Warships would simply calculate your win-loss based on your last 100 battles for each it would create a level playing field for all players regardless of ability or how long they have been playing.
