Ce guide "relativement court" a pour objectif de présenter le croiseur le plus puissant du moment le T10 Allemand, l'Hindenburg, ses forces et faiblesses et quelques conseils pour devenir un pro du spam. Je ne parlerai donc pas de l'ensemble des mécaniques / positionnement qu'il faut adopter en croiseur (sinon vous ne finirez jamais de lire ce topic) Avantages et inconvénients + Une puissante de feu inégalée à ce tier en croiseur + Un bon pool HP, seulement dépassé par le Henri IV et le Moskva. + Une exellente armure, surtout à courte portée + De très bonne torpilles à courte portée + Une bonne portée des cannons + L'hydro allemande + Le croiseur T10 le plus polyvalent - Une dissimulation médiocre, la pire après le Moskva et le Henri IV - Le croiseur T10 le plus lent - Pas de radar (et encore heureux !) Consommables Equipe de contrôle des avaries et Equipe de réparation en premium L'avion de spot vivement conseillé, pour taper du cuirassé hors de la portée de la base, où pour mieux viser sur un navire derrière une île. Hydro en général, Tir défensif pour des divisons avec des CV ou en compétitif 9v9 avec CV. Il bénéficie comme tous les croiseurs allemands d'obus HE améliorés, avec une pénétration à 1/4 contre 1/6 pour les autres croiseurs. 203 / 4, oui cela donne une pénétration sur du 50mm. Sa portée est bonne comparé aux autres T10, avec 17,9 de base et 20,3 avec le module de range. Elle peut bien sûr être étendu pendant 1min30 avec l'avion de spot. La rotation des tourelles est bonne et permet même de se passer d'expert tireur d'élite en cas de manque de points de capitaine. Les torpilles sont de courte portée avec 6km seulement, mais la présence de 2x4 torpilles de chaque côté permet de oneshot n'importe quel navire qui ose s'approcher. Coupler à son exellente armure, les cuirassés un peu trop isolés dans des îles risquent d'être surpris. L'hindenburg pêche en revanche pour sa vitesse, la plus faible en croiseur TX avec seulement 31.5 nœuds sans drapeau de vitesse. La maniabilité de l'hindenburg est moyenne mais suffisante pour ce qui lui est demandé. Sa dissimulation est l'une des pires (12,3km), seulement dépassée par celle du Moskva et du Henri IV. Son anti AA reste correct, le module de portée AA ainsi qu'entrainement avancé au tir (AFT) lui permettent de se défendre seul. De même pour sa maniabilité... Style de jeu L'hindenburg est un croiseur extrêmement polyvalent, un "jack of all trades". Pour en tirer dans sa puissance, un bon hindenburg accompagnera ses DD à une distance assez confortable, à minimum 6km de distance, de sorte que les DD et l'hindenburg soient spotté au même moment Comme tous les croiseurs et en l'absence de spot de DD, le début de partie est consacré à des engagements à plutôt longue distance, sur les cibles les plus isolés entre 14km et 18km. Il est extrêmement important de garder des solutions de repli, un hindenburg ne doit jamais se retrouver bow tanking (le nez face à l'ennemi), sans solution de repli. Le kiting est donc à privilégier à tout moment de la partie (on abordera ce point après). L'hindenburg est certes très tanky, mais sa citadel reste exposé à longue distance. Il faut toujours rester très vigilant et surveiller dans les airs les potentiels salves AP de cuirassés. En milieu et fin de partie, au fur à et mesure que le nombre de navires se réduit, l'hindeburg devient un monstre du duel et peut se jouer à une distance plus proche, entre 11 et 15km. Son DPM et son armure en font un adversaire redoutable et peu de croiseurs arriveront à vous défaire. Attention aux minotaurs et aux des moines en dessous de 10-11km de portée qui peuvent faire des ravages. Globalement l'hindenburg est un navire qui récompensera les capitaines vigilants, bon manœuvriers, qui savent se repositionner et s'adapter aux mouvements de l'adversaire. L'équipe adverse attaque ? Je recule tranquillement et je kite à une distance confortable. Elle recule et s'éloigne? Je me repositionne là où on a besoin de moi tout en gardant un oeil sur la flotte qui se replie. Attention à ne pas s'éloigner des objectifs et poursuivre des cibles sans intérêt stratégique ! Quelle munition utiliser ? La plupart du temps, l'hindenburg utilisera ses obus HE, qui sont extrêment puissant et régulier. Les obus AP ne seront utilisés que dans deux cas : - Sur un cuirrassé presque entièrement broadside - Sur un croiseur presque entièrement broadside Pourquoi presque entièrement broaside ? Les obus AP de l'hindenburg contrairement à ceux du des moines ont une pénétration faible. Un navire légèrement anglé pourra bounce vos obus. Attention de ne pas tomber dans le piège de tirer des obus AP sur des navires légèrement anglés, les obus HE seront bien meilleurs et plus réguliers ! A haut niveau, les switch à l'ap ne se feront que quand un navire adverse comment un demi tour et s'exposera pendant quelques secondes. L'usage du skill de capitaine expert loader est vivement conseillé. Un bon hindenburg est un bon spammeur HE, qui sait quand faire le switch dévastateur à l'AP L'engagement classique dans un Hindenburg s'effectuera à la fin d'un demi tour ou dans une position anglé à au moins 30°, toujours en fuite. Lors des salves de l'ennemi, il suffira de tourner pour éviter les salves. N'hésitez pas à alterner les vitesses (1/4 puis full speed) voir même à très longue distance s'arrêter et passer en marche arrière tout en étant anglé pendant quelques secondes, puis remettre les moteurs de nouveau. Ces changements de vitesse et de courses rendent la visée plus difficile pour les joueurs adverses. Bien sûr pendant toute cette période, il faut presque toujours tirer avec tous les canons. L'intérêt du kiting et de la variation de vitesse est d’infliger le plus dégâts aux navires adverses tout en limitant ceux reçus. De bonne manœuvres, de la vigiliance sur les obus qui arrivent, la capacité à s'angler et à tirer en même temps feront de vous de redoutables Hindenburg. Exemple de kiting avec ce gif https://imgur.com/a/FgbjkPU Usage en compétitif En compétitif, l'objectif de l'hindenburg est d'infliger le plus de dégats possible aux croiseurs et cuirassés ennemis. En défense, il est important de rester relativement éloigné de la flotte adverse au delà de 15km pour ne pas se faire surprendre. En attaque, il faut utiliser le plus possible son tanking pour progresser, tout en collaborant avec les autres navires qui vont push avec des angles de tirs différents. Si une attaque ne vise que la capture d'une cap, toujours prévoir une solution de repli. En présence d'un CV, un build anti air et le tir défensif seront très efficace pour éloigner les escadrons et protéger les cuirassés. Preuve de mon expérience en hinbenburg Une des mes parties

  3. There in the WG something you have to do with the Hindenburg. It's getting nauseous. We said category 10 is to be powerful but you did it unsinkable. I've had up to four battleships in shooting and we've been stroking it. That's enough. It's a cruiser !!!!!

    Who else loves the HIndenburg xD

    Ever since the HE shell penetration buff I've been having great games in my Hindy. It is the best t10 cruiser by far in my opinion. This is why I love it: 1. Excellent firepower with 4x3 gun setup. HE spam with 51mm penetration = crying battleships. If you use cover and bring all 12 guns on target, the raw DPS on top of fires melts anything. Doesn't have turret traverse or shell velocity issues. Struggles a bit with killing spotted DDs compared to other cruisers, but not by much. 2. 12 guns with 5900 alpha AP damage = huge punish to broadside cruisers. Can delete Minotaur in 1-2 salvos. 3. Less than 8.8s reload - can switch to AP when you see a cruiser starting to turn and be ready to shoot to get the perfect broadside. Moskva and Zao don't have the reload to do this. AP salvos on broadside cruisers are very punishing, but 80% of the time you are in kebab mode, so you need the reload speed to take advantage. 4. Great bow/stern tanking ability with 27mm armor, angled belt is auto bounce. Good ship maneuverability. Combined with the poor accuracy of most battleships, you can efficiently tank a Kurfurst at 15kms while burning him down. 2 turrets in front and 2 in the back let you keep 50% firepower at any angle, if you move at 1/2 speed you can maneuver slightly to keep angling and use 100% firepower, if you have space and enemy position allows you to do it. 5. On top of an already excellent guns and chassis, you get excellent torpedoes with wide firing arcs and alpha. You can one shot BBs at close range, and you outplay cruisers with worse arcs or that don't have torpedoes. 6. On top of all that, you get excellent AA and best hydro in the game. inb4 nerf

    Hindenburg Unique Upgrade

    Having unlocked the module yesterday at the time of writing I have yet to test it fully, but first impressions are hilarious. With the module you are, as expected, virtually fireproof. Fires with flags and the damage control system 2 module only last 11 seconds and cause 1906 damage, so you can only rely on raw HE damage if you want to take a Hinden with the module down. And with proper heal managment this makes it almost stupidly tanky vs anything HE related. I have not had the opportunity to see how long floodings last (because lol Hydro) but with flags and damage control module you should be looking at 18 something seconds. Also your main armament repairs itself in ~8 seconds. Basically once I installed the module I have never even looked at my damage control key. However there are some things you give up. Your detection jumps from 12.3 to 13.7. That is not brilliant and it limits you harder than one might think. I have had trouble getting undetected into my "normal" positions so a change of tactics has been required. Also because of this I have switched out the reload mod for the range mod, even though that hurt quite a bit. Due to your higher detection the range I found so far atleast that since you will be lit up by every far away BB as soon as you are spotted beeing able to fire back is more worth than firing faster. All in all I like it. With the range module you kind of turn into this hybrid BB cruiser abomination that is pretty hard to kill but can also out DPM most things at range. And when you have to push in you still have a really heavy broadside and turtleback, and even at close range the reload nerf is not really that big of a deal.
  7. Hi. Did not find a thread regarding this, so here it goes. Read in the dev blog that there will be a nerf to the KM high tier cruiser reload. There has been a lot of conversation in other forums of why this should happen. The data in stats sites does not seem to add up. Personally I am ofc not happy about this, since I like those ships so much and feel that they are just fine atm. If the long range HE spam is so much of a big deal, how about a slight buff to their close range abilities? Like, make Hindenburg's secondaries 128mm and a touch of more range? Torp range buff would be too much. Any thoughts?

    strong hindenburg is strong #replay

    Hi everyone, i would like to share my humble opinion about the Hindenburg. Dame she is so much fun! The hindi is my second T10 CA, after the zao. I had a reasonable amount of games in the zao, doing average performance. The hindi is so much more fun, simply because the superior rate of fire and the ability to tank. She is still quite situational, but with the recent HE buff, she is actually a capable arsonist. I find myself doing about 30K fire damage averagely in every game. Currently i am thinking to get loading expert because i find using the right ammo in her is very important. I am still new to this ship,having about 12 games in her with 100K average damage, but i am eager to sail her more. Below are some replays that i think worth sharing. I will keep adding.   9. First I have to disappoint you, this is not some thread about wheather or not Hindenburg should get Radar. So with the recent post about the Hindenburg by WG I noticed that on one of the Randers the Hindenburg has the typical German arrangement of stacked Range finders with a Radar Pannel attached to it. just like it should be however, when I looked at my Ingame Hindenburg she was missing that extra "box" on top of the range finder with the radar pannel. whats even strange, is that on the NA Client the Hindenburg actually has said radar pannel so what I ask for is this little model error to be fixed..... or you won't get any more from me... nah just kidding

    Consiglio cruiser T10

    Salve ragazzi, vi chiedo consiglio su un argomento sicuramente trito e ritrito, di cui col tasto cerca ho trovato thread di utenti stranieri, ma che non hanno chiarito al 100% i miei dubbi. Posseggo già come cruiser T10 il Des Moines, che gioco stealth riparandomi tra le isole. Vorrei però ricercare un cruiser T10 che permetta un approccio diverso, e la mia attenzione si è soffermata su 2 cruiser: il Moskva e l"Hindenburg. Mi potreste consigliare quale tra i 2 merita di più, andando ad indicare caratteristiche principali di utilizzo, pregi e difetti? Grazie mille anticipatamente
  11. My final T10 Cruiser, having already played both the Zao and DM quite a bit. The Hindenburg is another ship I feel have been talked down far too much, just like the DM. Yes it suffers when enemies angle against it, but it also punishes people who don't angle far harder than any of the other 2 cruisers.

    Roon. Should I keep it ?

    Now that I have my precious Hindenburg, fully equipped, captain ready for battle, is there any point in keeping Roon around ? Yeah, the Roon is very, very good ship. Probably the best T9 Cruiser, but the two ships are way too similar and I like too keep around ships with different play styles. Why play a gimped Hindenburg with 1 turret less, when you can have the real thing ? With different ships you can choose what kind of gameplay would you like to expirience. And again - why choose the lesser one ? If I sell it, I get a nice sum of money and a port slot back. Its captain has moved to Hindy. I don't have the time to train a new one from scratch. So most likely the ship will rot away in port. Why not get rid of it and use the money somewhere else ? Am I missing something. What do I gain if I keep it in port ? A bit better MM - the ability to stomp over T7s from time to time ? Less expenses for battle ? ( I'm doing fine, I can afford T10 battles. )

But that can be fixed with Upgrade. i hear many people say that Des moines has bad range and bad accuracy but all that can be Fixed with upgrades. Hindenburg has good range and good accuracy, can be upgraded to better on both. Both Des moines and hindenburg has really good AA cover "stock without modules or Cpt perks" on the other hand with upgrades... wow!... just wow... Des moines and Hindenburg has Better Firepower then Zao Due to their reload speed. Des moines and hindenburg has a high arc, An arc isn't as bad as you think because you can shoot over mountains while Zao can't. What Des moines and hindenburg lacks in maneuverability they add up in firepower. Zao has good HE shell damage, but even though Hindenburg and Des moines has less HE damage, They can make it up for speed. while zao can't. Zao has good fire, but both hinden and des moines can upgrade their, Not as good but almost. and even then Fire chance is only a possibilityits not a 100% chance. With Zao you almost HAVE to hit because if you miss.. it can be life or death if you meet Either hindenburg or Des moines While these 2 can miss. Zao can upgrade AA support Or dd Detection, Zao wont get the same aa cover as hinderburg or Des moines, on dd Detection they will have the same. " due to same skills and cpt perks" Zao can't upgrade its fire power, only range and Accuracy Same as Des moines and hinderburg, if they do the same they will still be better then zao Zao doesn't need a Nerf it needs a mini buff so it can be Compaired to the other 2 ships losing 4.1k hp is like making it REALLY doomed if it get hits by 4 citidels. Zao is going to be a dead ship if this contiunes... Nothing in these 2 ships is Fair towards Zao. Sure it can be Invisible and backstab enemies, sure it has fast ruddershift. and yeah its faster then the others too, but all thoes problems can be Solved during battle if you face the zao... however if you have Really good firepower.. Really good turn radius. i see no set back in both hindenburg or Des moines after this patch. Zao's maneuverability doesn't really help it towards other ships, only towards DD's but even then hardly anything. you can see the Stats Above on all 3 ships, Can you still SAY that Zao has really good firepower? if you can. Well i have no idea what you have been smoking. Please say no to nerf on Zao let it be heard so that wg wont make it happen!
  17. After the disappointing Hipper (not that bad but just meh) I am really enjoying the Roon. But where the other national cruiser lines* the tier IX vs tier X means a different type of ship character the Hindenburg seems to me a Roon+. Extra set of good guns, more HP, extra module etc.. just in all a clear upgrade with exception to the concealment. As for MM tier X the matchmaking seems to be much better too. I really like the Roon and i will keep it (because of investment of premium camo) but compared to her bigger sister there seems to be no real reason to keep her? * The Neptune is different the the Minotaur, DM plays different then the Moskwa. Henri IV has way larger guns then the tier 9 Frenchie. Both the Baltimore (and the future tier 9 US CA) is a different kind of beast. Maybe only the Ubuki and the Zao are comparable as both being identical and a clear upgrade.
