  1. How to survive the constant HE spamming from over the island's while you're in a BB. What skills to take and what to do and not to do.
  2. Hi all, Are you happy against long range HE spammer/hard hitter ships with good/fast shell velocity at T9-T10 games? I'm feeling like it's really boring while all experienced players at top tier. May different AP(long)/HE(middle) shell firing ranges for some T9-T10 ships (not for all) could be better to make high tiers more funny and fair against T7-T8 ships? What do you think about this new opinion, let's discuss it on the thread without PERSONAL ATTACKS, please. In these days, too many personal attacker guys in the forum, so I warn to them.

    Just some ideas

    1: Add special effects when you detonate someone like guns flying off barbettes, lifeboats flying, hull ripping up ect... 2: new achievement; Detonating Strike. If you detonate someone who is over 50%hp, it will award you with this achievement rather than devestating srike 3:a blue name tag that is on your name, which is like violator or division tags. Its purpose will be to tell your team that you have a slow game, and the punishment for being afk wont be applied. 4: issues about he (keep in mind that this is if the player has ifhe through this and the next issue) . If a he shell hits the hull and shatters (like if you are bow on in a bb), there is no way that a he shell can start a fire that way. Another weird angle that can start fires is a shell hitting a deck at 95 degrees and starting a fire (correct me if i got the angle wrong). A bigger issue is he hitting super structure (like the hoods,and has ifhe skill) penning and constantly causing 1k damage each and never getting saturated (i will discuss this in the 5th problem). Also, PLEASE stop adding more he spamming ships or ships which specialize in he. By 2020, battleships will be impossible to play because cruisers are getting more popular and op. 5: fire/he saturation. Imagine a yamato, that got hit in the nose by he and caused a fire, losing 9k hp. Now imagine it again, but with less hp and fire causing the same amount of damage. This is the problem with playing bbs, especially high tier. I wondered why it dosent saturate the hull, like torpedoes do to ships. He hitting the deck in the same place realistically has to saturate it at some point. 6: a built in replay system. Just press a button if you think you liked the battle enough to see it again, drops into a tab and you can watch it infinite times (i know you can do this manually with a few lines of code, but im too paranoid to edit the code without breaking something)

Hi captains, So wargaming recently nerfed a couple of things on the conqueror, but imho they forgot one thing: the ability for RN BBs captains who spam HE to obliterate the AA of the ship they target in a single volley or two. I recently played a game with an American BB, got focused by a Conq. 1st salvo, half of my mid range AA destroyed. Second salvo, I had like 1/4th of my AA power remaining. This is excessive. By encouraging the players of this line to fire mostly HE shells, you basically buff drastically the CVs, whose planes are no longer quickly enough endangered by AA. I think that RN BBs HE shells should be nerfed, not about their fire chance or damage (this is another topic here that I don't want to raise now) but about their capacity to destroy modules. Cheers
  6. Hello all, Looks like WG finally addressed ALL the problems we have been having. Now every BB player will LEARN that HE is the weapon of choice. So no more DD while about the ... UNFAIR AP DMG on them ... yes really. Also now the BB players will have an option to learn and be creative.
  7. Basically this. A single Izyaslav managed to practically solo my Kaiser with unending spam of HE. He kept well away out of range of my secondaries and whenever I tried to obliterate him with HE salvo, he just changed course the second I fired, keeping pumping the HE. I tried to run away (futile move, since Kaiser is slower than moving glacier), I tried to call for help (teammates either too far away or tunnelvisioning their respective targets), nothing helped. Try to use the repair? Boom, another three fires. Trying to wait the fire out, sparing your repair? Boom, your HP dropping like crazy. When someone finally killed him, I was left with like 3k health and at mercy of approaching Myogi. So two questions here. First one - isn't this a tad absurd, a DD being able to solo out a battleship with gunfire only? And the second question - how to prevent a situation like this, eg. high-DPM destroyer spamming HE is whittling down your clumsy and slow BB and you either cannot hit him due to RNG dispersion, or he simply evades your salvo?

    Fire damage

    Fire damage... burns for 500 damage a second on battleships. is it just me or does anyone else think that when your on fire in 3 places because of a Cleveland or similar he spam, 1500 damage a second is pretty overpowered. Use damage control you say? Ok, fires are out for around 10 seconds before all the fires are back due to cruiser HE spam. It wouldn't be right for me to just come on here and complain without posing any solutions. As i see it, there are several 1. Scale down fire damage on battleships or make them more resistant to it, this would reduce the average damage taken by fire in a battle with both different ways. 2. Make it so that fire damage scales depending on what shell ignited it. it seems a bit silly that a destroyers 5 inch shell sets a fire that does the same damage as one set by a 15 inch shell. 3. In reality (a concept i am still to get to grips with) battleships had multiple damage control crews just for fire, so you could give the battleships a extra repair crew or two with increased cool down but the ability to put out fires, and ONLY put out fires. For instance have the current damage control crew would be unable to put out fires but still able to fix anything else and have 2 other fire damage control crews which would be able to put out the fires only with a increased cool down over the normal crew, say 1.5x the cool down. This would give a major quality of life buff to battleships and make it much more fun when you come across the infamous american cruiser, the Cleveland. which can set you on fire in 3 places in about 4 salvoes. All in all this would help the battleships be a force to be reckoned with that is capable of doing more than burning to death in the first few minutes and generally being a burden to the team. as at the minute BB captains fear: cruiser HE spam, carrier bourne torp and dive bombers (which can be dealt with by turning, a concept not many battleship captains are familiar with) and destroyer torps, which can also be countered with skill. however, fire cannot be avoided by simply using skill, this means that fire is the only unbalanced factor that battleships have to fight as it cannot be countered by using any degree of skill. Tell me what you think about this, im actually interested to hear about what other think on this topic

    HE Spammers

    Just a short vent. I would like to announce that I am utterly sick of being spammed with HE by pretty much every enemy I come across. I can understand it with BBs, as smaller ships often can't pen them, but every time when I'm playing cruisers...seriously? Game after game I get set on fire...repair...set on fire again. I regularly lose around half my HP simply because the fires usually burn themselves out long before I can use my repair facility again. It wouldn't be so bad but even the bloody AI ships in co-op battles do this! Rant over.
