Why? That is the only question I have really. I have scoured the internet looking for an explanation but cant find one, so here I am asking if anyone at all knows why all the gun upgrades were removed and from my point of view, effectively heavily nerfing battleships in the doing so. If someone could please inform me, I would be grateful as I have no idea why no one else is talking about this. P.s - I am talking about them being removed during the transition from closed, to open beta.
edstock85 posted a topic in ArchiveWhen CTRL + mouse over an ammo type to get my gun range I sometimes get the range displayed to several decimal places and with no unit: eg. 9.8483 when I assume it ought to be 9.8km or 9.84km. No biggie but sure you want to iron these small creases out of such a great game. Edit: Got a screen grab. This was on the tier 4 IJN DD. As a Physics graduate it also makes me sad how ranges display to widely varying precisions. If you're going to say 9.84km then it should be 9.50km rather than 9.5km. Stop the discrimination against 0s - they are digits too
Why do the Mark 37 gun directors (4 can be found on most battleships and on destroyers like the Fletcher, Benson, etc.) on American battleships turn with the main batteries? The Mark 37s guided the dual purpose 5" guns. It was only the Mark 38s that guided the main batteries (the ones on the two highest points of US BBs: can be observed on Iowa-class, Montana-class, North Carolina-class, South Dakota-class). Wargaming only got the Alabama's directors right as they don't turn with the main batteries, only the Mark 38s do. Although it would be cool if the Mark 37s did turn with the Mark 28 5" dual turrets on BBs.
