    Competition - Win a Tacobanana

    Ducat1st0 Presents - Sampson v Umikaze A Competition Giving you the option of winning one of 2 Tachibana’s and extras (via code). (Code gives you a Tachibana, one ship slot, 10 x engine boost II and 10x smoke generator II) There will be prizes for 2nd of 500 Doubloons and 3rd to 5th positions will receive 250 Doubloons each (this applies to both Sampson and Umikaze challenges) Stipulation - This will be a tier 2 only competition, no other tiered ships results will be accepted. Sampsons Quest. To strike as much pain upon the enemy using main guns alone. Sampson Rules. The winner is the player with the most damage scored in a single battle by main guns alone. (Any torpedo damage will be discounted and secondary damage, flooding or fire damage will not count either.) You must play the Sampson tier II destroyer The battle has to have taken place between the 29/09/2015 and the 13/10/2015 Submissions have to be made before the 14th of October Only random battles are allowed You have to try not to damage to allies, yes really, try to be good captains, but will allow damage up to 100 credits fine against you. You can enter as many times as you like. Simply make a new reply to the thread with a new result, however only your best submission is counted. You need to provide a full screenshot of the first page of the battle results, as well as the damage caused detailed report In case of a tie, the player with the highest amount of ships sunk will win The winner will be announced in this forum thread on 17th of October (code will be PM’ed to the successful winner).     Ideas for World of Warships (Discussions)

    Karma System: Rework the system, instead of only rely on compliments by players of the match.There should be a baseline of earned points every match.Players who complement you gives extra points to your Karma.As the system is now people can just abuse the system and report everyone for nothing.I don't like the system as it is now, doesn't encourage people of being polite and playing well.There should be a reward system if you are doing well. As I read it, only those who have really high Karma get's some kind of reward for it.If you did really well that match, you shouldn't be reported, those who complain would abuse the system. Matchmaking System: Have a skill point system, that can separate low and high skilled players.There is no fun playing with people who can't listen to the team and what we should do.The lack of teamwork makes the matches really hard.Endless matches like 7vs0 is ruining the mood to play for several hours. Matchmaking as of now makes no sense, and people who can't play their Tiers respectably shouldn't be queued up with good players.I know people can have a terrible match, being unlucky or push to much..But when half of the team doesn't care, there isn't a mood for teamwork when it continues with the same behaviour.Matchmaking system NEEDS to be reworked.I don't know if it should be based upon avg XP or battles played. But let's say battles played, you can have a system like this: Battles 1-300, Battles 300-700, Battles 700-1500, Battles 1500+ When there is not enough people the system can widen a bit for the matchmaking to work faster. As this game grows you can expand to higher battle count.I know this will put SOME restraints on the queue timer.I rather wanna wait a minute more than to queue up with people who can't play their respectable Tiers. Containers: I think there should be a little adjustment to the Signals.Bumping these up to 10x Signals instead of 5 would be a good boost. An option to those who don't want the animation of the Containers. Also the Credits I think it will be useful to have Doubloons in this rotation more often.Doesn't have to be in a Supercontainer, 100 Doubloons will be more appealing for those who have credits.This also serves the purpose of converting to credits if necessary. I really like some input on what people think about this, I know I'm not the only one feeling like this. But let's have a discussion about this, be polite and respectful!

    Somebody can tell me how to use fu******* Doubloons and how improve captains skills !!!!!!!! how can I use to research a new ship !?!!????? why is so f**** complicated !!!!????? I hope somebody show me a guide or explain how to do this....

    World of money grinding

    One thing i have noticed about World of Warships is the increased income of credits and the extra rewards for doing well, even on a defeat, which has been a nice change of pace from the other game where income is decided based on how the team performs as a whole. But there is still that dark cloud looming over the economy, if you want to upgrade your ship, progress to the next, or generally want to re-buy an old ship because you ran out of Port-slots. Selling price is also severely reduced from the price you bought the ship for Upgrades for ships in the higher tiers have a tendency of costing more than a ship as a whole, take the last hull upgrade on the Izumo for example, it almost costs as much as the tier 7 Colorado So in hindsight we're back to square one, World of Tanks pricetags for upgrades and at quadruple the price for a new ship. And then there is that decade long XP grind which should be covered in a stand-alone topic of itself

    Not being able to sell my ship?!

    So i have multiple upgrades attached on my Aoba Cruiser, i know that when i chose the upgrade i couldn't turn back unless i used actual money (doubloons), okay, reasonable. But I just found out that I cant even sell my ship anymore with these upgrades attached, I am forced to pay doubloons if i want to SELL my ship. I just dont understand why they would restrict me from selling my ship if i have upgrades on it. I believe that this should be changed, I mean I just want to sell the ship, I don't want to attach another upgrade or something... Just why is this like this...?

Don't know if anyone actually realized it and apologies if I'm just the last one (but it's worth repeating it then anyway): The ingame doubloons discount for the Arizona and Indianapolis aren't 15% as it's noted in the news bulletin on the WoWS portal. Arizona = 6600 Doubloons x .85 = 5610 Doubloons Indianapolis = 7500 Doubloons x .85 = 6375 Doubloons Ingame doubloon pricing however is 4620 for the Arizona and 5250 for the Indianapolis: Arizona = 6600 Doubloons x .7 = 4620 Doubloons Indianapolis = 7500 Doubloons x .7 = 5250 Doubloons The ingame discount for both ships is actually 30% !!! If I were a betting man I'd say someone didn't seperate the premium ship discount from the regular ship discount (which is 30% for tier VI to tier VII ships). Anyone who's looking to get one (or both) of those premium ships might want to take note before the offer expires tommorrow!
