Hi all, As a Co-Op main player who specced virtually all of my 117 ships with some form of AA, I've just spent the last hour removing every single aspect of additional AA from all of those 117 ships and 100+ captains as there are no longer any AI CV's allowed in Co-Op, making any form of additional AA worthless. After de-speccing every ship I made 56m credits from selling both the AA Mod 1 & 2 modules and a few "increased health to AA/Sec Mounts" ones, for the ships which no longer need them (still kept on secondary ships though like Massa/Tirp etc). I also regained 7-11 captain points per captain from removing BFT/AFT/Man AA etc which opens up better build options for me too. Have any other Co-Op main players also done the same now AI CV's are extinct from Co-Op or am I being far too short-sighted?

Dieser soll nun gemäß der beschriebenen NEUEN Funktionsweise gefixt werden. Für uns Spieler aber eine intuitive Mechanik die das Spiel besser und angenehmer gestaltet hat. Im Englischen Forum haben bereits zahlreiche Spieler abgestimmt darüber welche Funktionsweise implementiert werden soll. Meine Frage an euch: - Soll die ALTE Funktionsweise erhalten bleiben? - Soll die NEUE Funktionsweise mit dem Patch eingeführt werden? I have been watching a lot of CC's tests of the up coming new CV gameplay and one thing that stands out is how big a difference it will make for DD's over the other classes, therefore I thought it prudent to explore the varrious types of gameplay that we might have to adopt in the early stages of the game to counter this change. Bear in mind that when 8.0 does finally launch most players will want to try it out so there will be a period of time with an over population of CV players all trying to figure out if they like it or not, this will unbalence the game for a while, untill players find their skill level and the volume of CV's settle down. it will be hard to extrapolate the most effective DD gameplay for each class of DD. However I am interested in what you all think will be the most effective way to play DD's after the new patch, what follows are my own thoughts on the matter. 1. CAP RUSH, the current standard meathod used at the start of every game, survival of this tactic relies on not getting spotted, sitting in smoke or hiding behind an island. Going unspotted in the first 2/3 mins of the game will not be possible, the new squads of planes fly over the map very fast so sitting in a cap long enough for capture will just get you killed, sitting in smoke as always will invite torp drops from CV's and DD's a like so still not an option, hiding behide an island used to be valid but now they have rocket planes designed to kill DD's so dead again. 2. BUM RUSH THE CV, This is a new tactic that I have seen players talk about and some trying in the game, this is a suicide tactic as you will get spotted too early, giving the CV plenty of time to react and send you to the bottom, plus the red team will mostly be in your way as BB's and crusers would not of moved too far from their spawn point, and even if you did manage to get through and get some torp hits you will still die early and be of no use to your team. 3. SPOTTING, NO CAPTURE, basically the technique of getting close to a cap but not entering to spot the enemy DD so your team can assist in killing them opening the way for you to then capure the point uncontested while at the same time spotting other targets for your team to unleash hell on, this is currently a very effective meathod of getting a cap with minimum damage to you. not any more, you will not be the one spotting the DD the planes will and if you are in the cap or not oops spotted again by their planes, focus fire ensues and dead again. 4. PLAY LIKE A KHAB, anyone who plays a Khab knows you don't go after the cap, or go near it, your not there to spot or get the cap at the start of the game, just to hold back and spam HE at range while ducking and diving enemy gunfire. So mabey this is the way to go, a dead DD is no good to the team, so do we hold back getting the benifit of other ships AA to stay off CV attacks waiting for the perfect moment to sneek in and get the cap. One thing is fact, the longer you stay alive the greater the chance you will help your team to victory. Like I said at the start I have watched a lot of new CV game play and what stands out is that the DD's are the first to die, if they are out on their own they are just too easy a target. How will we survive the next generation of CV's ? I open the floor to you guy's (and girls).

Bug constaté sur le support suivant : mise à jour 0.8.0 2. Bug constaté : En bataille ou dans le port Bataille : Durant une partie / Ecran de chargement des batailles Port : Précisez l'interface en question 3. Type de bug : Graphique Apparence du navire X Carte, problème aux coordonnées XX ... Beschreibung Klar und deutliche Beschreibung des Problems Beispiel: Das Aufklärungsflugzeug der Aoba funktioniert nicht mehr. 2. Schritte um den Fehler zu reproduzieren Alle Schritte, die unternommen müssen, um den Fehler zu reproduzieren. Beispiel: 1. Wähle die Aoba aus. 2. Gehe ins Gefecht (Zufallsgefecht). 3. Versuche das Aufklärungsflugzeug zu starten. 3. Ergebnis Was passiert genau im Spiel, wenn der Fehler auftritt? Beispiel: Wenn man den Button drückt, um das Aufklärungsflugzeug zu starten, wird nur ein Sound abgespielt, aber nichts passiert und das Flugzeug bleibt auf dem Katapult stehen. 4. Erwartetes Ergebnis Was sollte eigentlich passieren? Beispiel: Das Aufklärungsflugzeug wird gestartet. 5.     Captains! We are happy to announce the release of the 0.8.0.3 update for World of Warships. Commanders! Due to the installation of the Update, the server will be unavailable from: Thu. 21 Feb. 05:00 CET (UTC+1) until: Thu. 21 Feb. 06:00 CET (UTC+1) Update size: ~ 200 MB. Changelog: Update 0.8.0.3 will affect the interaction of carriers with destroyers, the "Fighter" consumable, and the individual balance of some ships. Due to the good maneuverability and precise aiming even when changing direction of attack, Attack Aircraft are excessively effective against destroyers. The latter have almost no opportunities for counterplay, even with active maneuvering. Given the high speed, Attack Aircraft successfully repel destroyers from control points and, in the early stages of battle, force them to keep close to allies, so as not to suffer from airborne attack. Taking into account the above factors, we have reduced the effectiveness of attack aircraft against maneuvering destroyers, but at the same time preserved the main features of the planes. These changes will apply to Attack Aircraft of all CVs: Increased preparation time for the attack, which will not allow instant attacks on destroyers. Changed the parameters of aiming: now planes get a large aim penalty when changing their direction during an attack and will not be able to accurately shoot rockets when maneuvering. Maneuverability during the preparation for the attack and during the attack run is reduced, which will not allow Attack Aircraft to easily aim at a maneuvering destroyer if the approach of the attack was originally on the wrong vector. Thus, the destroyer, which actively maneuvers and takes into account in advance the attack vector of the squadron, will be able to successfully dodge the attack. The interaction of attack aircraft with ships that do not change their course or, due to their characteristics, cannot do it quickly enough, will remain at the same level. Visibility of all ships from the air is reduced by 20%. This will reduce the reconnaissance potential of СVs at the start of the battle and will help destroyers to remain undetected for a longer period, provided that their AA is turned off with the help of the P key. To improve the efficiency of the "Fighter" consumable, we changed its settings. Now, fighters quickly begin pursuing enemy squadrons in their area of influence. Also increased cruising speed, increased the number of aircraft called by consumable on the squadron from 2-3-4 to 3-5-7, respectively. We have also significantly reduced the hit points of fighters, which will emphasize their weakness against ships and low efficiency as an intelligence tool. In addition, the radius of patrolling fighters for squadrons has changed with tier progression: at tier VI it has been reduced to 2.5 km, tier VIII is unchanged, and at the X tier it is now 3.5 km. Due to the excessive efficiency on account to the large number of torpedoes in the attack flight, the attacking potential of Midway’s torpedo bombers is reduced: their torpedoes have been replaced with weaker ones (the maximum damage is now 4233 instead of 5367) and the chance of flooding is reduced. Other parameters remain unchanged. Changes that have affected the premium aircraft carrier Enterprise: Bombers in all respects have become similar to the SB2C Helldiver bombers found on aircraft carrier Lexington, but they still carry AP bombs. This change will increase the survivability of the squadron. Reduced torpedo arming time. The torpedo aiming is now similar to the TBF Avenger torpedo bombers of the aircraft carrier Lexington.
