Hi Very new to the game but have made it to tier V111. But cant seem to have enough stuff to get to a tier V111 boat and still stuck on a V1 boat. Now i am thinking of buying a good tier V111 Battleship. Anyone reccommend one? I would love to buy a boat like Tirpitz or Prince of Wales but i am gathering they could not be used in tier V111

Just a quicky guys. Do you have to complete the tech tree of ships in order or if you have built up enough can you skip them and buy what you want excluding premium ships ofcoarse

Yes, just learning at present. I have bought the 'Hood' (great fire power but very suseptable to big hits) but there is some family history there so needed to get it and the Mainz with good repeated salvo's. I am concentrating on the British and german lines at present. Quite interestin is i am finding the british ships have great firepower but suseptable to weakish armour and a bit slow whereas the germans are faster not so much power but much better armour. I am contemplating another premium. My only grevience i have with the game is submarines, once they pick on you you dont have a chance in hell it kinda spoils the skill about the game a bit and also going dark it's just not realistic and kinda makes it a bit cranky

....but i can't find it anywhere in search although i know it must have been mentioned. What's the situation regarding after you have been sunk you leave the battle. Surely you are not expected to sit there until it ends to get your points. I could have another ship out to collect points elswhere in the time for the battle to end...

I play on the laptop with a mouse , any mouse work which basically is just firing is fine but using keys i just find so slow and cumbersome quite often i am just too late to react. How can i get better control or is there no alternative?

So what is free expo bonus? I spent a load of coal on it but where or what am i getting in turn?.

Yes. It is seeming like i am going up tiers but my ships are not keeping up as i don't seem to have enough to buy them. This will soon be an issue i am sure so what can i do about this.

I am enjoying the game and that's the main thing . The graphics are superb and the info on each vessel is second to none. Players seem to be helpful...It's all good until i faced Bismark then it all went down hill. I intend to change history and turn the tide on it and sink it with the Hood.....LOL

I am using the VT22 in V. Have to say it's not a bad boat. Rapid fire ....

It seems to be just a grind and grind away battle after battle until you come across some decent ships !

So much great advice......Thankyou. I had the french Battleships as the freeee at the start and got on quite well with them and i was sad to see them go. I am still learning the game. I wanted to alternate between the German and the British ships in general . So far i have just arrived in Tier V111 in German and tier V in British. I haven't got to Submarines yet although have the use of a Carrier and my first british ship bellathone i think (its so slow compared to the french i had) but ofcoarse it would be being a 1908 ship. I would like to get to the Hood in British as it actually has historical relevence to me. My grandfather was due to serve on it that day it was blown up but fell ill 3 days before so couldn't go....I guess that's what you can say 'Dodging a bullit' PS.....Thankyou so much, i can see me hounding some of you more in the future...
