I compared the asymmetric battle with those of the harder, tougher operations (PvE). You should read the whole text when possible and precisely and "judging" then. If the current asym. - battle is too easy for you, so play something else, something that fits your outstanding standards ...

I can sign that. The game mode reminds me of tough scenarios in "operations" with lots of well aimed focus fire by the bots and those are very well protected (armoured) too as it seems. Cruisers and DD are suffering the most. In my second game I was the only survivor after relatively short time ... I made it through the fight with good damage result and sinking of two bot BB, but we lost due to cap possession. Interestingly, radar and spotter planes don't discover the enemy bots in the first place IMO. They seem to be kind of invisible.

Operations / Newport with five stars and received a commendation too !

I love playing cruisers, but it's a very hard one especially for CL. When playing random, ranked or convoy I'm exclusively using Soviet heavies (Riga - Petro), French super heavies (Brest) and / or the premiums Aegir and Azuma. In the current meta others have little to no battle impact or chance at least when I'm playing them, such as Roon included.

Victory in "Convoy" with main participation and battle impact of cruisers !! Not often seen during the last weeks.

To me the current BP seems to be more work than fun. Playing with the same feelings like being at work doesn't work, at least for me. The missions are not even close to real fun, and additionally recent MM and RNG don't make it any better IMO.

Must be not so long ago. I got updated when watching a video of "Lord Mountbatten". In fact, he mentioned it several times in different YT - videos.

FDG freshly grinded and doing just fine with the main battery build. Luetjens as commander, so long with 15 skill points. "Stalingrad" was very, very lucky after two citadels ...

The German BB got an important buff with the introduction of American BB - dispersion / better sigma. Now their accuracy is far better than it has been before.

The Iwami is one of my most dependable ships / BB. Almost every time top performance and extremely versatile due to her torpedo armament ( Shimakaze 20 km).

Do love the Ziet(h)en though. I use her as a hybrid BC, and she is doing just fine. With my (limited) experience I can say that her overall performance is getting better when not concentrating on secondaries. Decent accuracy over all ranges included. She is quite the opposite of garbage. The T 7 "Pr. Heinrich" was trash indeed, and I sold her as fast as possible.

I'm not against the idea of T IX + X ships in operations. It would just feel natural, BUT no super ships. They are still not balanced IMHO and only for a minority who can afford them.

Just purchased the Marco Polo, which is an absolutely stunning hammer with her nine 406 mm guns + SAP. Also her AP is first class against BB broadsides, and I haven't had any accuracy issues out to 20 km so far. Her armour layout is decent too.

My best single AP - salvo ever on a Montana in "convoy" with 54 K damage (cita) ... ! Did hit a BB (Daisen) and cruiser (Ibuki) too with SAP - citas, love this Italian "sledgehammer" Marco Polo. The match itself was lost as "usual", "convoy" is starting to become cousin of "random" in a very negative sense.

Based on my limited experience I would choose the Russians first (Tallinn - Petro), then the French (Cherbourg - Marseille), and so the Americans (including the premium CA Congress).

Second decent game with my brand-new Italian "hammer" the BB Marco Polo in convoy. Most people won't understand, but I do appreciate Italian BB though. Particularly Cavour T V, Caracciolo T VII and my new acquisition.

The Italian hammer! First game in convoy and over 100 k dmg due to SAP. Love it!

Same here! I really try to improve my game play all the time with lots of honest efforts, but since I don't play CV or sub any "advance" is made in steps of micrometres, and it's getting overwhelmingly frustrating. Due to this I'm playing more and more operations. Randoms are pure dice games, where any effort made seems to be wasted.

Same here and in the middle of a fight ... not funny at all.

My experience is completely different. The 20 km torps of the Iwami are perfect for area denial, and many people are not concentrated, aware of those Shima - torps and hits are made on regular bases. That's my personal opinion, experience of course and everyone may do as he wishes.

Exactly! With spotter plane she hits anything out to 26 km accurately. Due to this she is preferably used from 16 - 20 km distance and helping on flanks or caps. Kind of snipe and kite style. Btw, her armour layout is much too weak to search for brawling.

Very nice start of the day in WoW / operations. Love this Soviet cruiser P. Bagration, an outstanding good vessel.-

I would probably be paying for such an opportunity. Subs are getting more and more embarrassing. WG is filling even the "convoy - mode" with piles of these disgusting critters. Have just been in close combat, brawl, with a Richelieu and Pommern when I was suddenly pinged by a sub ... We had SIX of these griefer tools in that particular CONVOY game. I haven't had a chance. Could sink the Richelieu and damage the Pommern heavily (torp), but then it was "game over" for me in my Ægir.
