Extremely impressive results ... ! Wow !

Didn't know that about the Annapolis, thanks for the explanation. Two days ago I was in a random with my FDG and had a Annapolis by my side, and what I was watching there was anything but impressive. She was lost during the first minutes of the game without making any damage or contributing to the game. But that wasn't the fault of this splendid ship, but only alone of her clueless "skipper". Four turret Des Moines with stealth radar sounds tempting though ...

I have had her, and she wasn't close to that what the Tirpitz can come up with. If I want to have a real good German BB with 305 mm guns I shall get the Mecklenburg. But I must admit that everyone has the right of a different taste and preferences.

Ha, ha, finally I got her. 30 minutes ago, and now I'm waiting longingly for her premium sister, the Salem. One of the famous Doe brothers at the helm too.

Don't consider the Brandenburg! She is inferior to Tirpitz in about everything. Small main calibre (305 mm) that often hasn't enough punch to fight the big boys especially at long range, > 15 km, horrendous fire angles too. You have to show lots of broadside when you want to fire all your main guns. Not smart at all. I traded her for the Tirpitz and never looked back.

Second random battle in my T VIII Russian hammer, the Vladivostok. Currently I have to play with a pile of new ships due to successful grinding and purchases. This particular battle was an outstandingly good experience I made due to the fantastic team I did belong to. Mainly composed of people from Ukraine and Belorussia there was no camping behind islands, no unnecessary hesitation etc. The flanks and centre tried to take their caps in one go, supporting their DDs brilliantly and working together in a manner that I haven't seen very often before, never before actually. The result wasn't long in coming. I have to confess that I love this way of fighting, so I did quite well myself. Exactly ! In a random battle a main gun built "Preussen" will surpass a "Schlieffen" with ease, same with other BB like the mentioned Montana, Kremlin etc.

Seems like that WG is using a new "technique" to make players suffer. The last two games we had two BB, two CA and one DD against 9 BB, 1 CV and 2 DD or 1 sub alternatively 1CA and 2 DD. The first game didn't go that well (Defeat), and I was the only survivor in a severely damaged "Republique" under heavy focus fire. The others had gone back to port quite early ... The second game had been much better played from human side. Same sick ship distribution on WG's side, but we really used our different vessels top notch according to their area of application. I used my Azuma (almost perfectly ) as a "lighter" at 16 - 20 km distance, one side covered by an island and on the other free sea. We really had to fight those bots down, which wasn't particularly easy under constant air attacks. Was a cracking fight and victory without losses !!

Would you mind and open an own thread about the topic?! It's interesting and many will have opinions of their own. Personally, I can't agree with you on the FDG, which is a decent and also fairly accurate BB in my eyes. I really do like to take her out especially in randoms. She is build as main battery BB though.

Yes got one of the Doe brothers, and he is doing great the way you are describing him. 14 - pointer so far and at the helm of Baltimore, because I can't stand the Buffalo. He will surely be used on both Des Moines and Salem. I got persuaded by the members here on the forum and will have both. 😁

Yes that would be possible too, but actually I don't like "having two cars of same type, which differ only in colour and interior design". Makes little sense to me. I'm determined to have the Salem, because I like her reputation and flair.

No I can't, I'm not long enough part of the game or among its members. So I have been assuming what would happen when and used the well known grammatical subjunctive "would". As a matter of fact some people here are not capable of thinking independently as it seems, but they know very well about the applause they might earn when mourning and complaining. I hope that satisfies your curiosity.

I have to admit that I don't know what WG did before 2022, but I'm tired of people who are complaining about all and everything just to be popular in the eyes of their "mates" here on the forum. Looking for compliments and "thumbs up". It wouldn't even matter if WG would do something absolutely reasonable, because the mourners here on the forum surely would accuse them of greed ... That said, I'm not glad in many of WG'S decisions, but as a grown up I see the duty of making distinctions.

I agree absolutely that Asym. Battles should be configurated for all tiers that are allowed to fulfil mission tasks etc. usually starting with T V. It's after all a very intersting mode, which is very popular with many players. And "port - queens" could get some needed refreshment. :-)

Let us get surprised! Negativity only won't help at all. It could be possible that we may get some really interesting ships after all. That WG tries to make some money is absolutely ok in my eyes, companies need to make money otherwise they couldn't offer their services. They also have to pay their employees, technical equipment and to cover running costs like anybody else.

I can't say anything negative about the ongoing brawls so long. The fights I have been involved in have been of good, sometimes very good quality. Particularly often also on enemy side, which makes a win even more valuable.

Was very lucky regarding container drop and received : TIX Jean Bart + five other French vessels (Gascogne, Toulon, De Grasse, Le Terrible and CV Bearn).

Top result in "Brawl" with my highly valued BC Zieten. Zieten and Mackensen (Moltke) are the German BC I like best. Personally, I neither like Schlieffen nor Rupprecht. Difficult to explain, but there is something about their handling IMO. BTW, one DD was sitting in the smoke and tried to farm me. He remained so stupidly immobile that I could finish him off with a torp ...

I made a good experience with my team mates in my first T VIII brawl 10 - 15 min ago. When the battle started I was disconnected ... it's a shame and catastrophe that WG has the nerve to "provide" us with such crappy technical equipment and other issues caused by this ... my team mates went right to the caps, and I came just back in time in my Tirpitz to fight off one enemy and sink her (Bismarck). The other team in contrary left their DD (Kagero) completely alone and came to her aid way too late. We lost one ship, a Zieten, which went right into hand in hand struggle with a Bismarck not paying attention to her much weaker armour layout, but only the will counts!

How do you think about the "Jaeger" ? Would be interesting to hear your opinion.

Thx, will do! BTW, I'm critical of WG's MM and RNG too, but there is no sense in making our own lives and game experience miserable. It is what it is, and all have to live and to deal with it. Since I'm kind of superstitious in case of WG I'm not watching my stats, but have created an old-fashioned tally, where I register 200 randoms in a row. Started with this 11.06.23, and it's exactly 50% WR until now with 30 random battles, 96% of which are TVIII - TX. Will be interesting after 200 battles played.

First time since I have been playing four victories (Random) in a row on TX. This Sunday is starting promising.
