I spent my luck when I got Saipan from Air containers during the Brisbane campaign. So I don't want to check it twice Could be a long story. I wouldn't expect it till mid of summer. If you really want it, you can: Write to the support and ask them to return your coal (if you have just a single battle on this new coal ship) Write to the support and ask them to reset your account to the moment you spent your coal. All your progress will be reset to this date also. -

Yeah, the exchange rate is crazy. But let's be honest. There is no way to get Hood but gold. And now we have a chance to buy it for 220k coal or smth. You can get coal from containers, and it's quite easy to farm. But it is much more difficult to get gold. I can buy T9 ships later for coal. But I cannot buy Hood later - they will close the deal. And I will not buy Hood for gold for sure - we have much more interesting ships for gold. -
Fragile or made of Glass. Tier 1- can be replaced with Last Stand. I prefer to have fast turrets. Tier 2 - More Radar Tier 3 - More Gear, More HP. You can take Adrenalin Tier 4 - Concealment. If you have more exp, you can take Radio (helps you to know where is DD before you Radar it) or Outnumbered -better accuracy and speed.

This is the only cruiser that I had 4 fires. And it was twice during 48 hours period. But yeah, armor is one of the best in the game. I prefer Steering mode 2 instead of Concealment- otherwise, it's maneuverability close to a cargo train. This game you were lucky with fire chance. I play more AP than HE. HE is quite weak in terms of fire chance.

The result of the battle is a binary value - Win or lose (yeah, Draw, but how often do you have it?) So you could have just three long term combinations More Wins More loses Win lose If you can invent some other scenario, you can probably write a book in games theory. The game cannot aim for you each time. It is your own skill multiplied to the balancer coefficient and some random value. If the players show zero aiming skill - even with the best balancer rules you cannot win. Your shot cannot be self-guided if you shoot in the opposite to the target direction. So the idea is improve chances for the low skilled players but not to make them win every time. Wanna win every game? Play Coop.

3 defeats in a row- and you really see the team is really poor, even if you do your utmost (top-3 in the final list)- reload the client. After it, you can get a better balancer slot. When you enter the client, you are getting a specific temporary slot for the balancer that will be active during the whole session of your battles. These slot rules and balancer rules are a saint grail of the game, so nobody can give you a key. But the trend is the following: "Bad" slot - your lost battles will prevail. It doesn't matter how good you are. You can gather all medals but loose. The team are weak in most cases. Average slot - 50\50 win loose. "Win" slot - your win battles will prevail. Weak team is the red team. You can even do nothing and still win. Why do we need these three patterns? Consequences of the necessity to give a win chance to the weak players. Otherwise, they will not play it (and donate). Imagine the fight of the skilled players against average players in some shooter game like Counter Strike. Vets will beat noobs. Vets know how to aim, how to use advantages and disadvantages of weapons, they perfectly know the map. So they will definitely dominate. But now imagine you need to balance them to provide equal rights chances to win. What would you do? You will implement probability coefficient to the aiming. So the vet can aim perfectly but cannot hit the target. And the average player has different coefficient and can aim worse and still hit the target. So the percentage of win\loose probability can be 50\50 for both teams. In other words, you implement some rules when the best player cannot always win and the worst player cannot always lose - Balancer. But you cannot balance it perfectly. That is why there will be cases when you lose no matters what. Or you win no matters what. So wake up, Neo.

Main Guns...They forgot to make it. It was missed with secondaries. I was expecting fat Hipper with bigger guns (But the same AcCuRaCy!!!!) and more HP. But what i see now - junior Aegir with a shotgun instead of main guns. And if we talk about the idea of"shotgun cruiser", may I suggest a new cruiser for tier 10 than. More HP, more speed and equipped with 380mm Kriegsmarine Raketenwerfer 61 as the main gun. We can discuss the same guns scheme 4x2. Short firing distance, long time to reload, but heavy shells. And you all know how this "gun" looks like in real life. King of "shorties"

At least you can burn it when hit even without pen if proper shells. (with less probability than Aegir, yeah..) But all other is a true statement

Yes, thank you. I didn't dive into ballistics and pen. Accuracy is a key feature for me. I can handle crappy ballistics and pen, but I cannot agree to have a ship that cannot hit the target because of the accuracy

I don't know. Admiral has the same guns characteristics as Aegir do. And less DPM. Also you have just 4 guns forward next to 6 Aegir. To my point, Aegir is far away from the Chariot of the Gods. And now they propose us to buy (let's be honest) a ship that has worse guns than Aegir do. But what is the compensation? Yeah, better concealment and speed if boosted. And chance to make fireworks when enough range for secondaries. Aegir has torps, more DPM and more HP. So what Admiral can do? Endeavor better?

If you like smoke gameplay, I would strongly recommend you to test British light cruisers. Minotaur and new Edgar are very powerful ships in capable hands. If the hands are not so capable- even with Kremlin armor and HP you would loose.

I wouldn't be sure if Malta can win against DD with smoke. Capture the caps and enjoy useless CV in the smoke. Meh. BB only. Halland or Gearing with long smoke in the red team would make this game harder for you.

What ships have you tried? Any German BB? Sure thing, Montana can do nothing but sink against DD. But I am more than sure that Germans with hydro can mess with DD. Another option - old good Petro. She can fight against DD, cruisers and, with some luck, against BB
