Germany light cruisers tech tree proposal

Its would be very strong, сonsidering that at the Germany have a pen of 1/4 of the caliber, instead of 1/6 for HE shells, because of which I did not want to make a tech tree that breaks through everything at a long distance (because the Germans at 170 mm will have a pen of 43 mm , while Nevsky has 180 mm - 30 mm, if you take Inertia Fuse for HE Shells, then the pen of 170 mm will be 54 mm, which means it breaks through any deck in fact in the game.

Germany light cruisers tech tree proposal

170 mm artillery was mentioned in the documents when designing M-class cruisers, however, if 150 mm caliber military (not naval) guns were put on Japanese light cruisers, I think 170 mm will be much more historical than that artillery, which is referred to as naval "In January of the following, 1937, a timid attempt was made to bring an essentially weak ship to a reasonable combat power by arming it with 170-mm guns. The attempt was quickly stopped, considering that it was impossible to find the 115 tons required for this, just as it was unrealistic to quickly develop new guns were put into production (which, moreover, would supposedly have one and a half times lower rate of fire). Among other things, they began to run out of time. "

    Hawke to Duncan

I will upset you, but all ships are projects after the First World War, but with modernization during the Second World War. Rooke (J-3) Hawke (K-3) Duncan (G-3) St.Vincent (I-3)

    How CV should work

CV doesnt have so much armore to attack from a distance of 13 km, like detectability. Its for first. Second - AA its antiaircraft. Its must do damage on the planes, not damage reduction. Of course, I understand that we have supers in the game, and some consumables which defy normal logic. Nevertheless, so far the game has not come up with such a thing that reduces damage. Unfortunately it's eelfism. MBRB looks more logical even in reality than this. And third - what is the difference from the previous concept? The only difference that I noticed is the scout-aircraft, and the limited range of work like the Dutch cruisers. But you took into account that they are cruisers, and they have better armor, and main caliber guns. In my opinion, you forgot that an aircraft carrier doesnt have sufficient survivability to operate at the same distance, and if you give the opportunity to work on the entire map, then over the network this is an old concept only with a new angle of attack and that's it. if you don’t know, earlier aircraft carriers had much more damage - Japanese torpedoes 8566, and American ones - 9866. Of course, bombs were a little more modest, Japanese 3600, American HE about 10000 with a penetration of 88-90 mm, and American AP 8000
  5. When I looked at Marseille's tech tree, I looked at Richelieu, then back to Marseille, and then back to Richelieu. And I think so, cruisers with bow turrets were brought to a separate tech tree, why not do the same with battleships? Well, here and there will be an offer of battleships with a bow arrangement of main battery towers. Tech tree features: They dont have engine boost, but they got Main Battery Reload Booster; All main battery placed in the bow of the ship; They got bigger main calliber then main tech tree (380 - 8 lvl, 406 - 9 lvl, 450 - 10 lvl) Have Defensive AA Fire and Surveillance Radar at one slot Representatives: Replacement Richelieu: This is my personal proposal and not the fact that ships will ever appear in the game or my concept will be taken into attention! Thank you for your attention!
  6. Châtellerault archives. Châtellerault is where the French military holds all documents relating to armament. Access is only granted to those who have a reason to go there and research. We know that WG was handed an absurd amount of documents from their 2017 video. In the contents list, there is a listing for Calibre 431mm on page 51. Scrolling down to it shows there are two entries listed: Canon de 431 mm modèle 1939 ∫c 1939. - 1939 Chemise modèle 1939 de 431 mm modèle 1939 ∫c 1939. - 1939 The first entry is the cannon itself, while the second is the barrel liner. "Chemise" is the French word for shirt, which would mean the liner in this context. Title page of the index WG know more then we are
  7. Okay, now answer me, does thi is my problem that YOU dont like it? Who are you here? YOu buy this forum or what? You just a player like me, and say what me to do you cant Okay, does Japan BB play on HE?They got bigger damage HE. AP here normal, and they could do citadel on bb, like conqeror cant. Okay. If you didnt see, 450-mm gun have better initial velocity (875 vs 840 at 431 mm). They got almost the same weight, and if you dont know Slava got lungs shells like for 406 mm gun but incredible penitration. So first look ar AP penitration on sites, and weight on shels - and then say. So if you dont agree with my post - who makes you comment them?) Just to make me nervus? Or what? Its against to rules. About DD or CL/CA, you wanna see more torpedo on random? You like shimakaze and Halland, or DD is half of the team?
  8. Today i wanna do a suggestion about battleship from post WWI period. There was a many project of non standart arrangement of main caliber guns(Like we see at St. Vincent and Duncan) Tech tree features: They VERY slow (Like a Vermont tech tree - 23-24 kts) Have a bigger HE damage like a Conqeror, but normal penitration Have normal AP Get a good AA defense Long-range ships with high accuracy Representatives: Some other ships (I came across nice ship models, based on those that we have in the game, and quite historical, which allows us to think that these ships could appear in our game) This is my personal proposal and not the fact that ships will ever appear in the game or my concept will be taken into attention! Thank you for your attention!
  9. They made up on some projects or real ships. Like a republique based on gascogne project
  10. i reported this comment because its against to rules about free posting on the forum
  11. Can you stop comment my post please? I didnt need youre comment or permissions to do post. If you dont like - not my problem
  12. I will probably disappoint you but: Richelieu pre-design Gascogne, variants A: Clemenceau (Rechelieu-class) And some pre-projects
  13. Izumo, Duncan, St.Vincent
  14. Today i wanna propose alternative tech tree of russian battleships. Like a Vermont tech tree, this battlehips was designed after WWI. So like a Vermont tech tree they will take a modernisation. Tech tree features: Not high speed; A large number of main caliber guns 406-mm; Poor accuracy, which is compensated by a large number of guns; Not high firing range; Not high AP penitration, because guns are represented by developments after the WWI(At T10 BB presented guns from Vladivostok, AP penitration only Mecklenburg and Bourgogne are worse); Bad ballistics; Representatives: This is my personal proposal and not the fact that ships will ever appear in the game or my concept will be taken into attention! Thank you for your attention!
  15. I know about it, but they was scraped in 1923. In theory, the ships proposed above would have been launched later, when the Izmail-class had already been scrapped.
  16. That is, are you in favor of completely fictional ships, and not ships based on real-life projects?
  17. but its not Yodo with military (not Naval) gun, or Louisiana)
  18. At tier 10 we got a lot of after WWI ships. Vermont: S-584-107 Cristoforo Colombo General Ferrati’s 1915 battleship “G” Schlieffen GK 5041 St. Vincent I3
  19. Um... what here "made-up"? Its historical projects, its not Yodo or Lousiana...
  20. As you can see, here the best DPM (Only Meclenburg got better but there 305 mm..., but as i said, AP penitration only Mecklenburg and Bourgogne are worse then our); Here good surface detectability; Here poor Turning circle radius (990, only Incomperable, Kreml, Slava, Grosser Kurfurst and Preussen got worse); Good rudder shift time (14,9 sec, better then our only Thunderer) We got below the average indicators of sigma, reload time, and armor (only 300 mm at belt).
  21. so in your opinion, if the developers are not watching this, I can not make suggestions for the game?
  22. First about BB - this all projects Russian Empire, after WWI. Vermont if you didnt knwo - the project of Tillman "maximum battleship" design studies prepared 1916-17 by Senator Tillman. Colombo - its Edgardo Ferrati's 1915 battleship. The second - Colombo have the worst sigma of T10 BB. I didnt say that here the worst accuracy, i said that poor accuracy, but not the worst. Colombo - 1,5 St. Vincent - 1,6 Schlieffen - 1,7 Navarin - 1,7 Preussen - 1,8 Conqueror - 1,8 Kreml - 1,8 Montana - 1,9 Vermont - 1,95 Republique - 2,0 Yamato - 2,1 As you can see, accuracy here better then only 2 ships, and with Schlieffen on the same level. Next, speed: Vermont - 23 kts (improved overclocking) Yamato - 27 kts Navarin - 28.6 kts Colombo - 29,6 kts Conqueror - 29.5 kts Kreml - 29.5 kts Preussen - 30 kts Montana - 30 kts Republique - 30 kts (Engine boost) St. Vincent - 32,5 (Engine boost) Schlieffen - 34,1 kts Like you see, here not good high speed in comparison with others. Next firing range Colombo - 18.9 km (+ Spoting aircraft) Schlieffen - 19,8 km St. Vincent - 20.5 km Preussen - 20.6 km (+ Spoting aircraft) Kreml - 20.7 km Navarin - 20.8 km Conqueror - 24.3 km Montana - 23.7 km (+ Spoting aircraft) Vermont - 24.5 km (+ Spoting aircraft) Republique - 26.1 km Yamato - 26.6 km (+ Spoting aircraft)
  23. so Navarin gut 0,9 less speed, but shoots 1.9 km further, and 0,2 sigma better, and 406 mm gun. 406 guns can penetrate 27mm armor, 381 mm can't do that. So whats here so bad?
