Getting them every now and then is completely understood but when you get them 7 and 8 battles in row where you have people sitting back doing nothing leaves games out of your control. This is worse in ranked because you have less people on your team and when even two do nothing it has a larger impact. There is only so much certain BB's can do when your team is so bad they might as well be members of the other team. A ship like a Louisiana can do a lot for itself or a Schlieffen but there is only so much one can carry. Last season in Gold I was part of teams that were steamrolling teams with purple members from some of the top clans so just telling someone to just get better and carry more is glossing over the issues.

Actually no it's not when most of your teams today were full of players who had WR's in the 30's and low 40's. These are the types of players who would be hanging on to each of your legs in a team race. Once again nice try. BTW: I do make mistakes, plenty of them, but sometimes you get teams that are so bad you get steamrolled before you can really do anything.

No because in almost every one of those losses besides one where I was 2nd I was 1st. Nice try though.

1: In a cruiser not really and had he actually taken the time to move to one of the closer islands instead of the back one it would have been better. There was plenty of time as I had the ships held up for a time. 2: I had no choice - it was either join them in the back and allow the cap and then with no place to go with the cap taken and they just freely take shots or challenge them. 3: Mmmm sorry but "fun" isn't an alternative for disruptive. I really hate the "fun" argument as there are currently "fun" modes to play.

What is their no middle ground? 2: So what you propose someone just sits there instead of helping your teammate when you have nothing to lose and everything to gain? Never hear that keeping your teammate alive, especially a BB who can heal, is a good thing? So you just sit back and let that 2 v2 become 2 vs 1? 3: Throw Aysemmetric Battles? Doesn't effect your stats really as they are for fun.

I agree with you there but the issue really is when someone isn't using those tools that are given. Like the Salem for instance it has a great heal and great guns but if you don't get with in range then they are useless.

No I understand fully how spotting works but I guess you just didn't understand the posts because instead of actually focusing on the conversations you were only out to insult so please go and "Git Gud" as they say.

Wow 12k battles in and your PR is what 100 better than mine? I just had a look BTW. Here is mine. I have a lot less battles than you do so not much room to talk. How about improve on your own stats instead of trying to insult others?

Well higher tier ships carry more firepower and you get away with a lot less than in lower tiers.

I think what winds me up the most is out of EVERY battle today, 8 of them and all losses, I have had two to three teammates in a team of six just sitting there sailing around waiting for something because they only fly into action after we are losing.

Why didn't he try out the Salem in Asymmetric Battles where it doesn't matter if you lose? With smaller team battles you don't time to sail around at the back if the enemy team decides to move up as a whole because they will just wreck those of your team that did move up, because there are caps, then finish off the potato or two who decided to sit back and not really help the team. Most of my losses are from that scenario where one or two decides to park behind a back island or sit in spawn. It's almost like they want the odds stacked against them.

The back islands? You forget this is ranked with smaller teams so camping in the back is less of an option. I have the Des Moines so the style of play is not that much different so while nose in at an island is fine but you pick one that is closer that will allow you to use your smaller range radar and be able to jump in and help when needed. Reading up on the Salem it also has that mega heal so you aren't a push over. In the battle there was a HINDEN behind an island and I was on the other side in my PREUSSEN and I knew he would come around and torp me but I couldn't see him. I asked the Salem to move up and radar because the Moskva was even farther back and who must have thought he had 20k radar because he used it but wasn't close enough. He just sat there and the HINDEN did indeed come out and hit me with a few torps that didn't kill me but took a lot of my health. Had he done as I asked I could have followed the cruisers movement and moved out of the way completely. He could have easily practiced in Asymmetric Battles.

Would you not agree that someone with 12k battles bringing a Salem to ranked as his first go in the ship and asking how to play it a bit much? He could have been better in a Tier 6 or 7 ship and contributed to our win instead of a loss. Someone stupidly told him to go and hide behind a back island nose in and just shoot. Well did just that the whole game.

Why? Right now it's like diving in the deep end before fully learning how to swim. When I was in Gold last season there were plenty of newish players in Tier X just more experienced. Example: First game today guy said he just got Salem how does he play it? I said ranked is not the place to be testing ships.

Why do your own teammates just sit there while you take on two ships and just watch you in ranked and a Salem of all ships?

Just wondering what are your thoughts on the Halford? I got some dubs and decided to buy one of the boxes - well low and behold I got the Halford. I really wanted the Georgia but it is what it is. Anyway after playing a few games I can't really decide what this ship is trying to be. It's not great at being a torp boat, gun boat, or much of anything really. It's slow and you need to be hidden by your smoke or behind an island to launch your planes or you are automatically spotted the second you activate them before they even leave the catapult. In my opinion it just feels like a ship with partial gimmicks that is just along for the ride. Sure you can spot but CV's and Hydrids really do it better. Opinions?

If you don't mind me saying - Wargaming pulled in over a billion in profit last year and with the tech available these days don't you think most companies have the ability to sort this? Now WG may chose not to do this but thinking this is out of the realm of possibility is a bit of a stretch. Seems to me they just cut corners to save money and do everything at the bare minimum except for the Premium Shop.
