    Public Test 12.4 - General Feedback

    The Victory/Defeat end game is a good change, I like how it appears but the battle is still going on with damage in the background etc..... a more fun way to end the battle. Asymetrical battles are better than the current co-op, they last a bit longer and there isn't quite the mad rush to get some damage in before the game ends. Not much of a challenge but batter than co-op. 5 v 5 Ranked with different team class compositions seems like it will put even more people off playing ranked (most people I know who do play it only do so for the steel). Also, it's a shame it is tier 10 now, as tier 9 has been great to play ships which are no longer viable in randoms. Match making and player education still sorely need work. For all the effort you are putting into new fetures and modes, it is the experience of Randoms which is the core of WoWs and (even when active the server population is high) there are still battles with 2 tiers of up/down tiering, it's understandable outside of peak hours but not all the time. Most people I speak to would rather wait a little extra time for a better quality battle. Also, improving the game understanding of below-average/average players would make a huge difference to the quality of the game play experience, just having players play their flank and understand basic posioning (not just suiciding or camping) would MASSIVELY improve the game play experience for everyone.

    I like that Ranked is tier 9 for bronze and silver, great place to play some ships I love and know it'll not be bottom tier. Don't mind tier 8 CVs and subs being involved. This season has been good.

    The new map looks nice and I think the geography will be interesting for battles. Love the sound of the shells when they pass overhead. Haven't played superships before, the burst fire interface was easy enough to understand once I'd used it a couple of times.

    Also, the Aegis scenario kept going after all players were killed. The message came up saying failed, then it kept going... there were two liberty ships left and the bots were shooting them. Have there been changes to random operations for this patch that I've missed?

    Just had the same scenario again, same thing happened, we managed to push the Shchoors around the island but by then it's too hard to then kill the ships. Wasted two red credit bonuses on these...

    5 vs. 5 Brawl With Tier VII Ships

    Love these brawls. Small maps, action starts quickly and at the most fun tier. Very enjoyable.
  8. I'm pretty new to WoWs. Mostly going down Royal Navy tech lines at the moment. Try to play to have a fun game and enjoy teamwork. 1,000 random battles, 46.9% WR, 1.2k avg xp, 23k damage, 0.75 kill/death. 100 ranked battles, 46.7% WR, 1.5k avg xp, 49k damage, 0.8 kill/death. Looking or a UK clan to help me get better. I play often but not necessarily at specific times. Somewhere friendly and able to help someone willing to put in the effort to get better whould be nice.

  10. When I exit the game I get a Critical Error message with the option to Restart or Terminate. Doesn't seem to cause any practical issue, any one else getting this when using Flippers 2.0 or Score Timer mod? When loading the game in safe mode I don't get the error on exit. I run the game with these mods turned on via ModStation: Turning them all off and back on again individually I only get the Critical Error on exit when using either Flippers 2.0 or Score Timer. Be interesting to see if anyone else uses these mods and does/doesn't get the error.

    Gone to the CS page today and it is fine, I can create a support ticket within the site no problem. I was being asked to login to the NA site yesterday when trying going through the pages to report a technical issue, but maybe I got myself into a muddle. Problems are often located between the keyboard and the chair . The link on the Critical Error message now takes me to the Asia CS page, I'm sure yesterday it was taking me to the NA one. Maybe the wind changed direction... When loading the game in safe mode I don't get the error on exit.     When I try to report the Critical Error bug (either through the link on the error message or via the website) I'm asked to log in using a NA account to report a Technical issue, but I only have an EU account. Is this intentional or am I doing something wrong?

    Malta for Coal and the Italian Destroyers Collection

    You're right there. Had the misfortune of being in a Cleveland against a Malta. First wave did 10k damage, second did 25k. He even taunted me between attacks as he knew he could destroy be with those AP bombs. Guess what my dodging, Defensive AA and Priority Sector did for me?..... A total of 5 planes from both waves, which it can regrow in no time.

    I'd like the non-divisions Ops back too, but credit where credit is due, those Twilight ships are fun as heck to play! I'm happy to be an Octopus which is using a salved wreck for a while.
