There is no mention of the improved AA mechanic that was mentioned before, or am I just not seeing it. Since we're getting even more ships with planes (and even a DD hybrid) I was kind of hoping AA was going to actually do something against it. Looking forward to the new cruiser lines though.

I've experienced the same problem where there was no birthday gifts yesterday. I've reached out to Wargaming but got a standard answer that it is broken at the moment. I then replied to that and asked if it was possible to be reimbursed at a later date (when it is fixed) for the doubloons I am buying tonight. I got another standard answer (but not automated this time). I feel let down to be honest. It should not be that difficult. I was looking forward to buying ships from the black friday sale and the battlepass upgrade with the extra doubloons as a backup for Christmas but I feel cheated. My brother had his birthday a couple of months ago and did receive his coupon, so he has all the doubloons he needs. But my birthday is later so I'm screwed. That does not seem fair. -
It would be really weird that in a match with 23 EU players, they are all bad. Seems more like your play style is not right for the EU since 12 EU players mercilessly defeated the team with 11 EU and a CIS player. If your play style was superior, you would win all your matches. Your team even had a division where the enemy had none. The division should be a giant plus for the team. I have no knowledge of the play style in de CIS server, but on EU it is very varied. You get lemming games, brawling games and sniping games and it does not seem to lean to one or the other. It does require you to be very versatile to adapt to the play at that moment. I play mostly in a division now with a BB and a dd (me CL) and that seems to do the trick quite well to winning games. We determine how our side of the map plays out most of the times and after that we can crossfire the middle and other flank. I'm still no expert though.

I'm experiencing a lot of lag with Co-op games where everything suddenly stops and a second or 2 later it catches up at double speed. This happens multiple times during a game. In Randoms I do not experience this problem, even on the same evening. It seems to have started with the new update.

Because DD's do not have homing torps, off course. I takes some skill to land a torp hit in a DD (unless you can dump a lot of them). The sub can just ping you 2 times and you're done for. If you mitigate the ping with repair he will just ping you again. No skill required. I do think the current ping noise and water ripple is enough, but the subs need to be a lot less tanky than current. And increase the distance of hydro detection for subs. That is what it was made for in real life. -
I got Kii yesterday and bought the extra Kobayashi camo (7000 dubs) and it is fun!

A lot of players have been playing for multiple years and acquiring vast amounts of credits with nothing left to spend it on. That's why WG has introduced the superships. It is not intended for the newer players, only for the veteran players to keep them entertained with a new toy and to drain credits while doing so. I think this is a good idea. A couple of months into the introduction of superships, you don't see them as often in matchmaking. It was very hard grinding my first T9 against SS to be able to get to my first T10. Especially with the German Battle Cruiser line while the SS make it nearly impossible to brawl at close range since everybody is only sniping from afar.

Pretty sure CV's do enough damage to DD's (destroyers) hahaha. Would be nice if they did a hell of a lot less damage to everybody. You probably meant to say Subs and with that in mind, my opinion is: have at it. Let CV's do all the damage they like to those submerged bastards. -

I liked epicenter. It forces everybody to one place and close combat instead of any other one where everybody stays miles away from any cap. Then again the CV's are quite the pest in epicenter. But CV's are a pain everywhere. -

I'm not a good player by any stretch of the imagination. I'm currently at 45% WR with mostly battles in BB. But restricting T9-T10-TS is just not good. I was at T8 and every game was against T9 and T10 so no chance whatsoever. So I needed to grind to T9 as quickly as possible to at least stay alive a bit more often. Now finally at T9 Wargaming has introduced Superships which are in effect T12. So now I'm still screwed and need to grind to T10 as fast as possible to stand a chance. I can't be hugging islands all game because a supership can citadel me even from the dead front or rear. And behind the island I get torpedoed to death thanks to the super carriers. Regarding your loss of enjoyment, I do believe as well that it would be better that the matchmaking should be on WR. If you do well you ascent to the mayor leagues. Once there you'll drop out if you're not up to the challenge. The longer you have been playing the game, the harder it is to change your WR, so that would classify your overall play-stile quite easily. To improve gameplay for everyone, no more T10 against T8 since T10 is easily T11 and it is effectively a triple uptier. And no more T9 against TS for the same reason. In regards to your current situation, perhaps give some advice to your teammates (but keep it kind) and do not start whining in chat that it was all your teammates' fault. Also don't give bad karmapoints to the players who are just doing their best, but rather give good karmapoints and/or compliments perhaps with some extra advice. That works a great deal better to have people thinking like a team. Perhaps invite a player that is not doing very good into a division and helping that way. But most of all, it's just a game. I had a T6 game yesterday in my Italian DD (yes I know, but I like playing them) and made a move around the cap to spot. I was radar'd and needed to get the hell out of dodge. I got sarcastic "compliments" from the other DD that was near the cap (but not in it), but I had spotted nearly every enemy near the cap including the DD and I lost no health, so not bad going for a crappy move. Now the other DD was still butt hurt and wanted to let me know by firing at my DD. He was then spotted by everyone for it increased his spotting distance and was killed within seconds. Outstanding move for a veteran player. -

That is rough. You are 4 duplicates or 1 new item short. There is no way to grant you my duplicates, is there? It is a weird BB with decent HE and reload and only 2x2 torps (again decent reload). Most people do not really like the ship but for some reason I like the thing. It is bad at everything, but I'm bad at playing so it sort of clicked. I was lucky with the containers and could get it a stage early. -

I have not played on the test server, but there are some issues I perceive with the current subs. They take depth charges like those explosions are nothing. In real life one hit with a depth charge would do it. So a little more damage per hit would be a good thing. They can ping you from very far away and can ping you every few seconds. Yes you can use a repair to counter it, but you've only got a couple of repairs (most ships) and take a long time to be used again. So you repair, the ping is gone and immediately you get pinged again and you have no repair. Furthermore, most of the time you die because someone is spamming you with HE that you can't repair because you used it on pings. Perhaps make it that a sub loses some underwater time every instance it pings. This will make sure they don't ping every second and they have to surface earlier when they are very active (like in real time with diesel subs). And perhaps give the ships unlimited repairs (like some BB's already got). I don't mind subs as much as CV's since at least you get the chance to shoot / airdrop on a sub, while the CV's are just doing damage without any consequences and you just have to take the damage. A stronger AA damage would alleviate that a bit. -
I'm a pretty new player myself (and not a good one at that) but I would advise to save your coal for when you know what you like best. If you must buy one now, at least buy one of T5 or above, since every special mission (like the shipyard build and the Italian dd's) collects only points with T5 ships and up. Regarding the massive earnings of T9, that is at the moment a lot less thanks to the superships you get to meet on a regular basis. I just reached T9 and have superships almost every battle. Not a very good experience to die 1 min. after being spotted and you have nothing to shoot at.
