Ok, thanks. Never knew the difference. Must say, before writing I readed the Wiki about spotting, but there they spoke only about cyclones. Even my usage of italian interface didn't help.

Spotted @Europizza in the enemy team. While I was trying to find the enemy Black, our forumite popped out of nowhere. Exchanged some shells, but too much BBs near to not disengage (after this I lost my X turret to BB fire). And well... he was in the winning team. -

Still better than me. The thing about 1000 bXp came about a requirement to gain a snowflake in the theory writed above, but was not stated if was for 1 or for a greater number of snowflakes. I mean, now you are (correctly) using the current event conditions to calculate it, while I was writing based on the idea that Sir_Sinksalot presented. If we are using the conditions of the screenshot above then yes, it would be fair... even if I'm not so sure about the convenience vs Coop, time wise. -

Mate, if I can believe your stats you are better than average (and better than me)... then sorry but you can't be a good example of the average player. More seriously, using your screenshot: if a player would need a 1000 bXp to gain the snowflake, only 40% of those in that match would gain it. This would be lower than the average winrate, then less convenient time wise. If WG would ever decide to consent consecutive winnings with the same ship to gain snowflakes, I think a requirement of 800bXp would be optimal. -

Theoretically yes, but this don't solve the problem about winning chances: both Ranked and Brawls are more skill/ship/team dependent than Random, consequentially the average solo player don't have a decent assurance to be over the threshold frequently enough to gain the bonuses. -

If I'm not wrong, skipped snowflakes will scale up with the number of ships owned. I think it's +1 if you have 100-200 ships, +2 with 200-300 and +3 with more than 300... or something like that (sorry, don't wanna go search the related article). Other than this small detail, I think your idea is more or less a good thing... The real problem is that 1000+ bXp need a win to be achieved (also with a decent playing)... something that is relatively problematic for the average players to achieve with regularity. With the average win rate around 48-50%, winning 2 games per hour, my 130 T5+ ships will need at least 65 hours of gaming... without count of losing streaks ('cause sh!t happen). For many people something like this would be difficult, because it's a lot of time. WG (I think) use this event to have more people playing, and to achieve it they made the target relatively easy... limiting the earning chances will go against WG interests (drop of games played). On the other hand, if they keep the current bXp requested but make it possible to gain even with repeated consecutive games with the same ship... that would be satisfying, I think. -

I don't know what is written on your ID card but relax that this isn't an old age issue... me too noted this thing, they increased the minimum bXp to gain the "free" snowflakes. Now it's not so easy to gain it in Coop. For people like me with few (relatively) ships in port it's still reasonable to play Coop for snowflakes, but if you have a lot of them it's more time wise convenient to gain it in Random/Ranked/Brawls. Maybe it's a WG tactic to make more players be preys of CVs and subs. -
Still, this could be a relatively interesting T5 premium... given 5 guns of the T8 Hsienyang (also historically correct) and DefAA, with british smokes and hydro. Also, being a premium, would have both AP and HE. Really not a pleasure to meet it in a DD, at that tier.

Other 2 achieved today. Both in Ranked with Minekaze (again)... and both with a game lost. Seems that you simply need to have the right ship in the right spot, because I wasn't trying to achive those... they "happened".

AEGIS is almost unplayable since it was reworked

A well placed DD can almost one-shot both the NW BBs... the other one need concentrated fire from 3 or more ships to be sunk before the end. On the plus side, the convoy now usually go for exit from SW 'cause slowliness of sunking the escort, so it's almost safe (except some cases) from being totally killed by NE cruisers. -
This would need game competence from devs. And this is WG...

I did it today (yesterday) in Ranked with my Minekaze. It even surprised me, didn't expected it. That said, if I'm not wrong it was my first combat scout... so not really a common occurrence. I think it's doable, but there's the need to play fairly aggressive.

Another absurd thing... To create an enormous, specialized AA platform like that, there's the need to be sure that no airplane have a chance to strike it... conceptually it need be a total no-flight-zone. But this is WoWs, then we can be sure that CVs will have those chances and will exploit them. This seems a nonsensical downgrade, losing anti-ship power to gain an useless (theoretical only) AA capability.

Probably. I think that, more than this, the main part of casual players are simply going with the flow... Whales desire the new toys and more commited players need them for the competitive. It's not about supporting WG, simply put the players are passively on the receiving end.

To sum up... if before the rework you were doing Ops to farm, now you do them knowing that you need to carry (better do not hope about team performance). Still, on average more chances to win than in Random... for the average player anyway. -
And I would prefer to meet a Bismarck instead of the Gneisenau... nose-in they have the same guns, but my cruiser/DD can go along side without take a torps volley.
