  1. Hi all, Been playing a few days, done a lot of co-op battles, now doing the random battles, I have progressed to a T4 cruiser, the Danae is the one I tend to use the most, I am having great fun in it, has decent guns, is quite quick, has torps as well, all in all seems decent. Now for my question, am I digging myself into a rut using this ship a lot, should I be trying to get to BS or Carrier as quickly as possible, or is learning the gameplay with this ship a viable option, also is this game a mainly solo gameplay or do you need to join a clan/gang to progress in the game ? Thanks for any and all help.

    UK [OTLWS] OUTLAW BUCCANEERS

Hi guys, Have recently started to play this game, yeah I know, a little late to the party, but that's me all over, I may even make your mascot look good. I'm UK based and well over the age of 18, actually about 11 years over the age of 50, I have grandchildren around a lot and I still work full time, so would be classed as a casual player, I would be on 3 or 4 times a week, generally more at the weekend, though Saturday night is Pub night, I will probably sail drunk on the odd occasion and lose badly, just blame the beer and whisky. I read your recruitment thread and you sparked my interest, too many clans seem to want 500+ battles, amazing stats and a kill record to match Harold Shipman, you seem to want to build a small like minded community and help people along. Think I have rambled a little, that will be the whisky, I think you have enough info to decide if I may fit into what you are trying to build, let me know if you want more info.

    Hi all Noob with questions

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated, I have researched a Battleship so will try it out for a while, see how the gameplay changes, will also try the destroyer line as well, I didn't know about being "a protected player" until 200 battles, so thanks for that bit of advice. When it comes to clans, are their tips on what to look for when a noob is looking for a clan, or are there clans that specialise in teaching noobs ?
