  1. rare occasion of a game forum being more interesting than the actual game. I abandoned the game 4 days now and will just follow forum to see what will happen. I really want to see what changes will be implemented to subs and superships next months but have no real interest to play any battles under current game state.
  2. and in no 2 asked if you plan to buy a supership. you can have 2 and plan to buy a third...or not. no1 shows how many are already sold. no2 shows how many will be sold.
  3. Bought Satsuma. after 3 battles lost ~450k credits. so 3 is the max I will play. will not even play for the SC at all. I will let the ship in port. I had and still have plenty of credits, but I'm not going to spend them in 100% loosing huge credits battles

    I do not want to play Satsuma for rewards. I could accept some bad games to have negative income, but doing 160k damage and loosing credits is an absolute NO. It is impossible to play her at all because after a few days I will have zero credits. I like to play permanently one ship so I will stay with Yamato. Introducing ships that need PTP (pay to play not pay to win) is a major failed concept.

    I see no reason for someone to play a supership just for fun and sustain it for long. even with double damage all superships yield less profit than an X ship in every aspect. wins: no real advantage as opposite team has almost same count of SC XP: less xp by far as SC kills only IX, X ships, most of them with perma camo that also provides credit buff. SILVER: with double damage a SC not even close to an X ship profit. best chance is an average 30-50% more damage vs a TIER X ship and these leads to a total disaster for anyone playing often a supership. SO WHY?

    if a cruiser shooting only HE does penetration damage 50k and fires 4k, you think it is supposed to work like this? RNG means a LOGICAL DEVIATION from a center value not a complete out of sense result as the above where 2 players have 8x difference in expected numbers.

    Update 0.11.3 - Superships in tech tree

    Had some silver accumulated and decided to try Satsuma . (had ~200 battles on her when free) Had also a 21p commander (the one I had in Yamato before Yamamoto) used also 20% credits signal and camo. Played 2 random games. first one 156k damage - loss ---> -190k. second: 90k damage - loss ---> -256k. for a win it must be 200k profit per win to balance loss in a 50% win scenario. So although bought her there is no way to play again unless lost credits in lost games is around zero.

    I had Yamamoto in Yamato and used him same day in Satsuma till yesterday. Now I will not buy Satsuma even if a like her because in addition to the high cost of any battle (possible negative balance) I will not be able to move Yamamoto between Yamato and Satsuma freely. And will not try to train another IJN to 21 points because I have only 1 per type and play only tier 10. Anyway the credits gain of YAMATO's with Yamamoto + permacamo as tier 10 vs Satsuma's are far greater than anything Satsuma offers. The use of a SS will be sporadic and most likely rare because someone must have a dedicated commander for them. And not many will make a new 21 commander for a ship with such low use and credits loss simultaneously. Some may do it but these will be the same that already pay for the game. Not new $ bleeders at all.

    We do not need to see your profile, WG did. And WG made SS for you. You will buy all of them even if you do not use them. And 360K service cost will be a bonus profit for them each time u use one.

    Unlike Yamato with 11km ASW which is a submarine killer!!! All day in my Yamato I hunt poor subs and that is why exist all these threads complaining about how Yamato is broken So please poor subs, my 11km ASW is a hint that I will kill you ALLLLLLLL "as you quite often can encounter situations, where the submarine is very close from your ship" 5km is close. 6 is far.
  14. That is because they are free for anyone to test them. When in tech tree only the ones really using them well will have them in battle. I've seen Annapolis dying first minutes because sailed for 2 minutes straight line and Annapolis that killed 6 ships in 10 minutes. The first one will never be seen again after a few days, but the second will dominate games each time.

    Why I dodge randoms these days

    It is common that most shimakaze players do not play and will not play as all other DD players. 9 out of 10 times shima in my team leaves flank and circles through the map border to get to enemy side and spamming torps to BBS. This shima is often the last alive ship in my team (that often looses battle because of that) with full health and zero kills because he spams torps from 15km without ever seen in battle. When abandoned flank meets a not shima enemy DD then the only job for enemy DD is to spot without shooting while his teammates burn all green ships and then move to crossfire the rest of the green. Meanwhile shima travels to the map. Maybe not coward but just selfish playing.

    The cause of MM like this has 2 parts. 1. many players try the subs. This will get less intense in a few days or weeks 2. Many players, mostly CA and BB lovers stopped playing because of subs. This will continue as long as subs are in game. For me yesterday, when in MM screen I saw more than 1 sub, I simply left queue and tried 1-2 minutes later for more than a few times so not to meet any subs. It is also obvious that active player base is a lot smaller. I remember MM screens with 100BB and more than 10 of BB and CA. Now all types mostly are below 10 ships each time.
  17. Subs also have plenty ways to send torps. Can we have a DCP that MOST LIKELY be activated when the most likely torps will come? If pinging is doing no damage and is unlimited why not DCP be the same? It is not damage when you activate DCP after subs pinged 5 ships in a row and then each one gets burned?

  20. Except that the invisible sub is not supposed to get into a bunch of enemy ships of all kind. Ships that are aware that it exists between them and no one can see and kill it even if it moves fast and shot torperdos.

    And this player is treated by MM the same as an experienced CV player that achieves 1500+ bxp in each game. I think that player base has shrunk a lot. 2 days a go there was a mogami in green team in a battle with 3 Superships each side. Reds had no VIII ship at all.

    I accept that none can prove anything about how skewed the game has become. only theoretical. But I feel I will stop playing a game that my results are so much affected by others when these others are chosen by luck (or something else?)

    No I will not have the same results FOR ME but I will force the results for my team. And that is what i say. Good skill affects my stats positively but no skill at all ruins others' For example: I have 0 games in subs and placed in team 1. I do not move at all or play like a 5 yr old because I do not even know how to shoot in a sub although I have 5 tier 10 ships and play tier 10. my team looses. Now place me in the same game but in the opposite team no 2. This time the other team will loose because of me or because of 2 players like me. (we are so many clueless in the game now). Did skills for the 24 players changed? No. I DID IT. I Ruined the game of 11 others because I'm ignorant and because game MM let me in a match in tier 10 with 0 battles in subs or any other ship type. Lol. just got a chat ban in game. Do not know for what or when exactly. It is what you got when you say idiots 3 DDs leaving flanks and moving in the same cap and get radared and killed (usually from the same clan). Now, in any battle you put them, it is not he enemy skill...it is just them.

    Well if I played 160 matches in ~20 days maintaining a certain trend (that is no a small number for conclusions) and suddenly last 2 days something is 100% different, then please make a guess of what changed. Sure not me, not the ship. Either my first 20 days were 20 lucky days or last 2 days were cursed. It shows that player's skill is irrelevant and the whole MM system can not even balance 22 continuous days of same player in same ship. When I started the game in less that 5 days I got a ban for unsporting behavior, that although I researched vigorously to understand what it meant I never got a clear answer. I came to the conclusion that it was me staying back with my BB when our flank pushed in some cases. So now a year later I' m in the other side reporting subs staying in the middle of our fleet, moving around randomly and doing nothing. For this year time I never reported once a player of enemy team and made less than 20 reports for ours n 2000 games mainly for AFK. These days I feel the urge to report allied subs for doing nothing and this shows to me that the game once known for being for adults and not kids to play around has become a pile of crap. It is like introducing every day drivers in F1 TEAMS and expect to have same F1 experience by balancing the teams. NOT POSSIBLE. Game is just out of control because the too many injected parameters left in chance and affect everyone in such a manner that skill is no longer a main factor for winning. Only luck. Game is no more fun for me, mainly because I can not find out what it is that makes me a 20 day 160 battles 58% win player instead of a 2 day 12 battles 25% WR one. Seems like I' m not playing the game but instead the game plays me.

    Having 160 games in Satsuma with 58% WR.... till this Saturday. Yesterday and today in 12+ games I have 2-3 wins. So suddenly I'm not so good. What I noticed is the greater amount of players in CV and SUBS and most of them especially in subs and in my team had a potato brain (or no hands, or blind, or like me 0 GAMES in subs). What I really believe is that MM can easily manipulate the result using these 2 categories by just grouping players with low battle count in these types. I, have never played and will never play a sub, but if ever choose to do so then the team having me will 99% loose. So I'm a weapon of manipulation for the MM to use me. Battles with 4 subs when 2 subs in one team have 5 games total (so they do not even know how to shoot) against an enemy team having 150+ sub games is not a way to make balanced teams. If it is not done in purpose then it is simply stupidity.... Not against subs in overall but do they really think someone will keep playing when loosing 10 out of 12 games because of bad game mechanics bloated by stupid MM??? So instead of pushing a horde of useless players in Random, just set a limit of type and tier battles. Lets say 200 battles in co-op so anyone learn to use and at some level shoot and aim with certain type of ships.
