    I got two small containers. I received a supercontainer but I can't tell whether that was luck or whether it was the egg reward. The game has only notified me of the small containers.

    I'm exactly the same way. It's unethical to play CVs against humans, or put them in the game as ships playable against humans.

    The Payfast has been power creeped pretty hard, especially since so many players can hit cruisers in smoke pretty reliably, and 12 km russian cheatbote radar is available at tiers where Belfast spends 70% of its games. Kami, well, several gunboat DDs can dispose of it. You can't change the detection for two ships. If you're that concerned about the Payfast, just ask for removal of the T8 module ability. But really, it's not as much of a problem as it used to be.

    LOL. Just got out of yet another Tarigo game in coop in which 6 torp hits on a T7 BB left it with plenty of health. I am not looking forward to the T8 and T9 grind.

  7. The Russian CVs are all broken. If other ships need nerfing -- and I can think of many -- it doesnt mean that WG shouldn't do the right thing and nerf the obnoxious Russian cheatbotes.

    People have been talking about a threshold for years. A 46% WR threshold would eliminate all the botters, yolo-rs, and AFKers for sure. The problem is that WG loves those players because they speed up matches by causing collapses and getting players back in the queue sooner. So there is no way they will ever upgrade match quality by setting a player performance threshold. The other problem is that WG does nothing about such players in any mode/format. There are no tutoring or mentoring programs. They do not get rid of the botters, yolo-rs, and AFKers despite multiple reports and despite many of them being well known and easily identifiable, such as on NA if you play there, a certain Attorney Whose Ship Cannot Be Sunk, and a Raging Tortoise. Those two have lost 8-10 Ranked matches over the last couple of cycles for me, since I am forced to play when they are on -- I usually stop when I get a match with one of them.

    I stopped playing her because of the constant uptiering, doubly bad thanks to the overpowered aircraft carriers at T 10. I know plenty of people who had good games in her but on the whole her range makes her skill ceiling very high in the current meta. It's a shame. It's really a fun ship.

    We dont dislike it, lots of players enjoy it, including me. It's a fun mode. But it shouldn't be in Randoms where it will distort the statistics. When it was in T9 Ranked a few cycles ago, I routinely turned out 150-200K games in BBs. There's just so much extra damage to get. I think my high was like 270K in Alsace (no stats available, sadly). It should be a separate game mode that alternates with things like Convoy and Dirigible Derby, or available in Ranked, etc.
  13. For this coop battle in which I both moved and did damage in the Weser. I didn't get any plane damage because I was using them to spot hoping to get spotting damage. Thanks WG! I know I can always count on you!
  14. Yes, and the irony is, by only spotting, I left the damage for others to get. Very sportsmanlike of me. There is no reason for that warning.

    The teamplay aspect is important for me. I can't help my teammates by setting fires on bigger ships attacking them. I can't give me smoke to a cruiser so he can get damage and support me capping. I can't spot well because my detect is poor and I am easily spotted myself. The terrible smoke has a long reload time too. Sorry, but I would much rather be in my old Yudachi -- ran IFHE on it, and many a red DD was shocked at my HE alpha. Almost any other DD at that tier can do what Tarigo can, except much better, and with additional flexibility to help teammates.

    It's hard to overstate what garbage it is. Weak torps, short range, mediocre detect, almost useless smoke. Why would I ever play it in Randoms? Sure, the SAP can hit hard, but you can't use it from a relatively safe range. One of my frequent div mates is currently the top NA player in it. He has a 77% win rate and 57K average damage. Compare that to the high average damage numbers for any other T7 DD in the hands of a top player, usually in the range of 75-90K average damage. For Gadjah Madah, the top player averages 87K. For Z39, it's 93K. Tarigo is trash designed to force you to FXP to go up the line. I've been playing it solely in coop. It sucks there too.
  18. The problem isn't the competence of the playerbase -- WG has created it. They love an incompetent playerbase, the game is set up to produce it.

    Run double rudder shift in your upgrades under EQUIPMENT. Conceal is pointless since with all the cancer in the game, you'll be spotted most of the time. With smart play you can avoid shells down to 12 kms away or so. At range you'll be very difficult to hit. Use the conceal points for more useful captain's skills, like AR and DE.

    That's ridiculous. i do not envy the mods having to shoulder the task of explaining how wonderful this transcendentally stupid mechanic is. So glad I have never played griefer ships against humans. I couldn't do that to another person.

  22. yeah, there was a guy on NA pointing out he had paid for the camos specifically for the 4% dispersion bonus. Obviously they want games to go faster and ships to die quicker, and removing that helps, especially when you multiply by thousands of games. The idea that it was technically impossible is absurd.
  23. Yes, that's how I read it too. But I like being able to separate out all the bonuses.
