I had not so good experience with Odin to be honest, I greatly prefer a Bismarck class BB, even the Tirpitz without hydro. Other than that, I agree 100% with you, especially the part where you speak about using terrain in Agir and ghosting for a bit during the battle. cheers :)

It is true, with Agir you're not here to tank, it is a different way of fighting: - you should artillery fight close to your concealment range in order to disappear quickly when needed and to maximize your guns perfomance - unlike some BBs you're not made for a "sustained brawl", Agir excels in what I would call "instantaneous brawl". You need to position yourself so that you only need to tank for 1-3km before lauching Agir's torpedos and doing a drive by. Odin is tankier... but it's the only thing that goes for her, she is so trash IMO. I would take Agir over Odin any day of the week.

I mean, can't say you're wrong... but I will take the Siegfried anyway because she is tier IX ( I hate tier X, worse tier in the game IMO ) and because I'm a german ship lover, I'm addicted to that sexiness

well, it is true that gneisenau has 26mm bow armor instead of Agir's 27mm... but she has that nice icebreaker.

Bow armor is in absolute terms better... but considering what you're facing at those tiers... you will get overmatched for sure... only BBs with 380mm (like bismarck class, ita BBs, french BBs until tier X) will bounce.406s and above will overmatch your bow. Armor belt is worse, turtleback is worse, stern is worse. In the end, she is a cruiser haha.

I don't have her still, I'm on my way. But from what I've seen, Siegfried's main battery is laser accurate... which is a breath of fresh air for german mains like me. Hull is the same, guns are more anti-BB focused... seems like they overpen more against cruisers.

Full concealment is 11.9km, I suggest you play around this value... this is what I do. Good range for your guns, you still have punch, and you can disengage whenever the situation is getting out of hand
