So apparently a cruiser or a cruiser like BB like the British ones, shooting HE and causing fire the moment they hit you with every freaking salvo from a BB, and then when you try to respond they use their good maneuverability to dodge and good conceal to drop off so that once I shoot at something else, they shoot me without any response from my self. And all of this while sitting freaking 20km away. Congratulations, you just mastered your IQ level to 0 -

I thought the Z-31 was an old lady that was beaten up by Bully Maguire (change my mind) And I am talking about the OG ones. Z-23 (which is pretty darn decent now), Z-46, and Z-52, Gaede as well. -

You definitely should. Proper timing of AP can lead to some big damage numbers. For eg. A German DD that is well played in a good match with proper ammo selection at the proper time can do 200K+ without the most effort in the world -

Well you should have gone up the tech trees before. And you shouldn't have judged that this is the only Cv with this problem without playing the others. Its a fair dev blog. You can continue with the Airstrike as long as its balanced. And they do look quite spicy. I won't start judging them before I see them in full scale action Weimar, good change. Now the damage values are acceptable and AP pin was lacking so having that buffed was nice Yukon, the whole ship is boring design. Copy paste ship a tier lower, with a different consumable. So idc about that Constellation, I kinda like these changes, although it'd be nice to leave the radar aside. Its too much -

I mean I use AP on pretty much British (yes even the lower tier ones), German, Russian and French DDs. Sometimes on broadsides the Japanese gunboat AP can be decent Also did you know that DDs at T2-4 can overmatch cruisers -

have you never played a CV besides FDR??? When a squad is launched, its divided into three or four attack mini squads. When you attack a ship, one of the mini squads detaches from the group and attacks the ships with their payload. And once the attack is done, if the planes survive, they return to the CVs with their HP Each plane has an HP bar of 1K-4K depending on what CV you are playing For eg. FDR dive bombers:- The HP pool is of each plane. In battle, the HP shown is of the entire squad. So FDR bomber squad consists of 14 planes, with seven mini squads of two planes each. So take the individual HP of each planes and multiply it with the number of planes, and that is your Squad HP. In this case 3710 HP * 14 planes = 51,940 hp So when you attack a ship and your mini squad has made their attack run, they return to the CV automatically, and their HP is taken away from the total squad HP pool. So if your first mini squad of FDR squad is done attacking, they return to the CV and the HP taken away from this 51,940 hp is 7,420 hp, so ultimately the amount of HP that remains is 44,520 hp. Try this in training room if you have any doubts -

well I have seen it And you planes taking damage and ship taking damage are coincidental You have more surface detection than a proper built GK, so ofc you are gonna get shot at. Its completely your fault, not the ship's. -

As for consumables, they should remain as a extra trait that makes them unique, gives a flavor and something to bring to the table in a battle. But a ship should never be balanced around it. The French DDs for eg are balanced around the reload booster. -

actually AA builds are pretty damn good, as long as you have a CV. But what they can do is mix secondary build and AA build, kind like how it was before the rework. The problem with this was that it reduced tanking, but now it doesn't Take this build for eg. or this So here, the AA skills/mods can be mixed in with the secondary skills/mods So the two pointer AA skill can be mixed with the three pointer secondary skill that gave the secs range. Then even give an AA range bonus to it. Then top it off with the secondary reload buff available on the CQC skill which buffs reload, and we have a great three pointer. Maybe name it Auxiliary enhancements. Then the third slot module which buffs the secs can be combined with this (the most useless AA buffer) and Expert AA marksman Give the Improved secondary battery aiming skill (MS) two extra flak. Shouldn't be too bad. Or maybe give the third slot AA mod, the expert AA marksman buff. Or maybe give Improved secondary battery aiming skill (MS) the expert AA marksman skill buffers and the third slot AA buffer and rename it to 'auxiliary focus fire' In all these cases, give the third AA slot mod a AA range buff or continuous AA dps buff -

Yes. Shima AP for eg is so underrated. Cit a worcester about 4km away, and killed him. Ig he didn't expect me to use my guns or AP. It was before the commander rework when I had BFT -

Worcester (yes the alpha is a bit low, but not that low, and everything else about the HE is great + monstrous reload) Henri IV I would say Zao, but its the only thing keeping Zao in this game Haru HE is annoying but Ig its fine coz not great fire chance and alpha Goliath HE. Yes it has a long reload, but those shells do literal 10k HE volleys plus 2 fires, and top that with British pin. In fact the only HE I think is balanced, and is quite good for the game was German HE. Low alpha, but decent fire chance, very good pin so it can damage many things, plus good reloads. -

True. But HE should either have high fire change, but low alpha and pin, or can have all three but a long reload to compensate (IJN HE), high number of HE shells but are crap per shell but high number compensates that, good HE pin but bad fire chance and alpha, low pin but decent alpha and good fire characteristics. That was the problem with HE spammers. They had a quick reload, high number of HE shells, and had all three shell characteristics. Did I mention Superstructures eats all of the shells? Making fires weaker won't solve much. Making the HE shells have different quirks while having weaknesses to balance them would be a good start. -

and they knock out so many damn AA guns I am seeing a bit of a contradiction here True. But there are many players who yolo in at the start They just can't find a balance. The main problem wasn't fire starters like Smolensk or Colbert, it wasn't the lack of team play although it is to some extent, it was the mentality of the ppl playing BBs. They need to be taught how to play it properly. Back in the day, WG released guides for helping players. Where is all of that now? And no 'How it Works' vids in quite a while. You can see the company is desperate. -

I would remove every turret of every existing BB, and put a quintiple torp launcher with 20km torps It will make the BBs "fun and engaging" -

I gave you a list of my opinions. And by all means, go and buy the Lenin. But you gotta learn the basics I think the German BBs or Soviet BBs can you teach you that while still having fun. Nassau and Knyaz and T3 are literally the best T3 BBs, so i suggest you play them first and learn the basics. You can buy a Lenin, but I'd say first go to T10 in a tech tree grind, then play Lenin. I'd say play the soviet BBs first. All are tough when you angle correctly, but you get punished for bad plays and that'll teach you BB gameplay. Also a well played Soviet BB does more for the team than any other well played BB imo. Basic build:- -

actually I think Lenin is getting removed in 10.5, so I suggest you buy that. Its a good package. Soviet Nelson It has three forward turrets, good armor but exposed cit, some good AP but trash HE (not that you'll use HE in a soviet BB ofc), soviet damage cons (very fast reload so it can be a lifesaver, but unlike other nations, its limited), good firing angles, fairly good stealth. It'll teach you some classic BB values. I'd really suggest getting it coz its a good BB and its being removed. Any other BB? Depends on what you want. You want a sniper, go Champagne although I really hate it. You want a brawler, go Tirpitz. You want a good close to mid range fighter, go Roma. Want a T8 warspite experience? Go vanguard. Massa is an all round good BB. Want a BB that can kind of snipe and kind of Brawl? Go Kii. There are quite a few options available. Alabama is a different NC, so you can go for that, and is a fairly good captain trainer for American BBs. Gascogne is trash. It has the fast heals but that's it. I'd rather play a Richelieu than a Gascogne. There those are my opinions -
Its WG. What did you expect? The forums could help you way better. You made the mistake of asking them in the first place. Players from all around the world can do this, but ten times faster, and explain it much better.
