    Player interest in Operations

    simple solution Make some campaigns, a series of operations. Like the battle off Samar for eg. can be divided into many operations. Depending on performance, you earn special tokens. Those tokens can be used to proceed to the next level. Some token bundles can be available to buy and fair amount of players will buy them. Campaigns like these will be yearly or half yearly (preferably quarter-yearly but idk how WG can manage that since they overload themselves with changes the game never needed). Once two campaign seasons are done, the first one will be available permanently, or if flawed will be reintroduced with some change at a later point. Once all Historical campaigns are done, they can try unique battle concepts as Operation campaigns, and for the player, they will receive quite increased income, and at the end they will get to a chance to spend the remaining tokens to buy something, like a alternate camo pattern for a specific ship, or a ship flag, patches, 200 dubs, a tier 3-7 premium, 100k elite commander XP, etc. WG get benefit from it, and so do the players. They can also put out special ships designed for that OP only on rent for dumbs or a lot of free XP. Like Dunkirk, there were two DDs specifically for that OP. They can even try holiday special events that way like haloween battles, space battles, etc. This system is inspired a bit from the blitz version and some other mission based games

    Super heavy AP gives fire duration. Aka a 60 sec fire would burn for 75 secs. This skill is only optimal or even considered an option for long range snipers like Champagne or Slava.

    applies for pretty much most of the American premium line (Massa, Georgia, and Ohio) and I run this. There are two more builds you can try. These are the other builds you can try. All work quite well You can go full tank build but that gave me the worst benefit. The best build out of the three is the first one, which buffs secs and survivability. You can try hybriding three three builds coz AA build on Ohio can give CVs a run for their money. I actually even shot down a full FDR squad in about 30 secs or so. He got a 10k bomb drop but he lost all his planes except the three he struck me with. The amount of enlightenment I received that day can rival monks when they find the answer to everything (jk, but I was very satisfied). I would suggest focusing Ohio with ranked in mind coz Randoms are trash and most likely that build will work there. You may have a question on why secs. Well Ohio's dispersion of secs is still good enough. She never pened much to begin with but she did set fires and superstructure hits yielded more damage and that seems the case even more now since the secs are laser beams anymore and the secs hit all portions of the ship now, even more than before. Couple that with good guns with great handling (gun wise), good tanking capacity, and we have a BB that is the ultimate generalist at all ranges.

    well she is apparently the summary of all the design studies and a prediction of what the Germans would have settled for. They aren't quite wrong about the caliber and size, although I am a bit skeptical of the no. of guns. There were no H projects with 12 guns Even Hitler's dream of H-45 which was half a kilometer long, had the Gustav guns aka 800mm guns, the entire aft of the ship as a CV with 75 planes, torpedoes and going 30 knots with more armor than the entire tank force of Germany and the WW1 dreadnoughts combined, had only 8 guns

    She can be a Japanese Atlanta at Tier ten. Fantastic AA, good guns to hunt down DDs, low HP, smoke, hydro, unlimited DFAA, very very maneuverable cruiser, but if caught by a BB, can get cit out of the water. Maybe giving her a 5-6 second reload base and very low fire chance should make this cruiser a very nice rapid fire cruiser but not a broken HE spammer. Amazing

    That's coz Hizen is not a good ship. Imo its very bad since its squishy, average HP, twelve guns with less than Izumo pin and worse reload and her shells tend to overpin more than other BB shells (I can't explain that but its from my experience). ZF-6 is very very good but its WR is low. Once some of the competent players get her then she could get a steady and decent WR

    there is a difference between gun and shell and yes, I want them to coz Bismarck and Tirpitz face tier 10 and so does Pommern, and having more pin will help them fight a bit better at longer ranges while giving them a nice boost at punch at close range

Zoup comparing the holocaust to the Lockdown is assholery He doesn't realize that if they don't maintain their precautions, they take away other ppl's freedom as he would contribute to being a threat to infect the ppl. So the freedom he is talking about here will not be granted anyway, and these stupid comparisons add insult to injury.

    Improved pin as well. The 15 inch guns of higher tiers need more pin. Let Gneisenau pin stay as is, buff Bismarck and Tirpitz pin by 10% and give Pommern a 20% boost from its current pin. Siegfried can keep the OG pin. Also Gneisenau would be nice with a Hydro. Not the 6km, but Bismarck hydro. If that's too much then 4.5km ship detect and 3km torp detect hydro can be given. Point is that Germany BB building has evolved from slow Dreadnought to much more advanced fast BBs while retaining the armor necessary. It would be a nice evolution and would help the Gneisenau in close range brawls even more And also the MS OG value or 5% less from the OG value is needed back. Secs will be fixed finally. Problem solved

    Another example of how stats can be misleading. Typical. Back to the point She is a dockyard ships so you have to consider that many ppl whaled her for 42K ish dubs That includes many some players who are as high in tier as Tier 5. So play the ship yourself and determine whether the ship is good or not. Z-31 had 60% WR for a small while, but did that mean it was OP?

    Well I can say that for Jean Bart about the guns. And she throws out only 6 shells Yes she's fast but she is quite squishy. Exposed cit and 25mm bow with a very low icebreaker is a recipe for disaster. And having 2.0 sigma doesn't make her OP. NC has that sigma. Borodino is BC dispersion formula but only six guns with 30 sec reload currently. So nope, definitely not OP And Borodino sits normally in the water. Its a Stalingrad hull ffs with Soyuz guns. Not OP Then again we shouldn't come to conclusions but based on stats I can reasonably make out that she is far from OP

    @CaptainKreutzerok sorry for answering late but lemme clear this up True. But while it is massive it is, as we know by now, classified as a Super BB. So she will probably have a different slot in the naval dock. Everywhere else its just water so no problems lie. And well you know by now a H-42 is coming which is even more ridiculous in size than H-44 so yeah, whatever 1. 104k isn't that big of a nerf but its equivalent to one cruiser salvo so I'd rather have the OG GK in this case 2. 30 meters may seem significant but when comparing BBs like that its like comparing a beaker to a beer glass (they are very very similar in height). In laymen terms, its almost a pixel smaller. It gives better conceal and maneuverability, but by the smallest margin possible. Maybe 0.2 conceal unless you give it a cloaking device like Thunderer, and maybe 0.5 knots faster max which isn't much. And rudder should stay the same coz size doesn't affect Rudder. So what I can expect is a turning circle of 990m - 1000m instead of 1050m. That is a good improvement if its the former but if its the latter then not a very significant improvement. It can be a life saver very rarely. So idk. Also WG's policy of exaggerating is very very visible so I am not sure 3. 8 guns is questionable but if you look at the 8 gun BBs in tier 10, or heck the 6 gun BBs we have in Tier 10, they lose that number of guns for a faster than average reload, overmatch, and accuracy. The reason why ships like Ohio work is having good to acceptable accuracy at long to mid range and very good at close, while having overmatch, alpha, and reload. Thunderer works coz it has insane accuracy and consistency while having overmatch, and good reload. Repub works coz good dispersion 8/10 (french are infamous for trolling), very very fast reload, long range and overmatch. If we add H-41 like the way you proposed, then it will be garbage gun wise. That's coz 1.9 sigma is less than the other 8 guns BBs at T10 and its dispersion will be wonky coz its standard BB dispersion. Also you have absolutely no overmatch, the 420s have fair alpha and good reload, but not very impressive range and only 8 guns. Repub has better accuracy and its dispersion is trolly, and H-41 is gonna have a worse version of it. 4. The Germans had good torp protection but WG nerfed it coz they were quite strong already at close range and DDs couldn't do much if pushed these BBs, so WG reduced the torp protection so DDs can actually properly counter if they play their cards right and the Germans don't pay heed to the threat. Side note: The reason why FDG works is becoz it does have overmatch against its tier and lower tiers. Slava works coz the insane accuracy and pen of AP allows it to punish broadsides. Otherwise its trash. H-41 basically has worse than Slava fire power and worser accuracy with a faster reload in return. FDG represents H-39 to H-41 evolution quite well. I would suggest adding torps to FDG and GK instead of changing them drastically. It doesn't have to be 2x4, but rather 2x3 like the T7 Germans. Maybe add a C hull where you get these torps at the expense of 2 AA mounts and one 105mm gun in case of FDG, and two 128mm guns in case of GK. The rest of the changes are quite fair regarding secs. I personally think making MS have 55% - 60% dispersion cut will fix secs in general, not just ze Germans They got a boost ffs

    Operation Dunkirk was my favorite. Like you can play historical or play arcadey and that's what drew me to wows. Like they can have limited time operations and bring thme back with new features and maybe finally keep it permanent. This added so much more depth into the game. But WG its crap so those didn't last long

    1. To make a fact you require many things than just experience. Did Newton say that gravity exists with just an apple falling from the tree? Or did he Run many many experiments to prove his theory right? 2. He must have played that ship for a while and he knows how to use it and you don't know how to face it coz you don't have it, and since you don't have it you don't have experience or any data to counter him. And you claimed that you watched him fight three BBs in one. I wouldn't believe it coz even a Kremlin can be out performed by three ships. But for your sake I am believing it. I did watch Flamu's stream where he covered the armor and I don't clearly remember but I do know that it has some form of protection against front citadels. Borodino has 2/3rds of Soyuz fire power. And she is fast. But she has an exposed cit. Her deck is 50mm, and so is her icebreaker but like I said, the Icebreaker isn't that big so its doubtful how well it might work. 3. She doesn't have any special cit shenanigans like Constellation. Borodino in her current state is a BC. Hit and run tactics might work on her. She has special dispersion but she also has only 6 guns. Georgia has Graf spee dispersion formula. Do you think she excels at long range? 3. The BBs who fought him might not know how to counter him or could be total potatoes. Like I said. I have seen far from OP ships perform incredible feats that many ppl actually don't know what the ship can do. When Nuestra was introduced, I can count on one hand the number of Nuestrashimies I saw in battle and she obliterated DDs. I later unlocked and played her when she came from coal and I had enough. I played her and she was basically a Ognevoi on steroids. I assumed before that she was an OP ship but when I played her she actually wasn't. So out of all of this, what I am trying to convey is, don't just look at a test ship and judge very quickly. I judged Felix very quickly and considered her to be trash especially after the last minute nerf. But when I played her, I was pleasantly surprised. I found her to be pretty good, and very relaxing ship to play. We didn't conclude the FDR to be OP off the bat. In fact some of us said she was weak thnx to the slow speed. But once we faced her in plenty of matches, we deemed her to be OP. I actually don't have FDR but I spectated a friend playing it and listened to his opinion which is where my final conclusion came from. So TLDR; So don't judge quickly and assume something based off of one battle. Wait for it to come out, play it yourself, then judge it.

    Honestly even before her gun change, I gunned down many american DDs including a Chinese version of Benson aka Lo Yang. My guns just hit way harder and Z-23 has the mixture of both Lo Yang torps. Almost same speed as the yolo torps, better range than the normal Benson torps. Now tho, Z-23 is way better. Now she can mount five 5 inch guns with good reload, WD-40 turrets (the front one) and a great deal of flexibility.     For what she is Siliwangi is a straight up better Ognevoi. She has the strong Hydro which pretty much what the Lo yang had going for her. Otherwise she is a worser Benham (They have very similar HP, same guns with same characteristics but Benham has better range). Yes Siliwangi catches BBs off guard but if you build her for guns, she can really go to town on many of the opponents it will face. However if you want a DD that does both torpboating and gunboating well, just get Z-23. She is way better with the gun change and a good T8 now. Ain't the best but she holds the title of the most flexible Hydro DD at T8. And she's free.

    Depends on your playstyle But in my book yes Haida is better than Z-39 Tier for Tier Haida = T-61 Z-39 is a very different concept for a DD. It has big cruiser guns at T7 which catch many cruisers off guard. And the HE hits hard enough that you can fight DDs and thnx to HP, smoke, conceal and hydro most of time beat them. She has amazing torps that reload fast, do quite a lot of dmg for the tier and are fairly fast She has good concealment. She is a sort of Cap ambusher. And has the tools for it. While French are open water gunboats and fast ambushers of any ship. The Z-39 is a cap ambusher in this case. Is it good at its role. Yep. Is it better than for eg Jervis and Haida. 1. you shouldn't compare these DDs coz Z-39 and Haida have completely different playstyles. 2. If you have to compare, yes Haida is better coz more conceal and good guns. Z-39 has different guns and worse conceal but its still good compared to others. So maybe Z-39 should also be pick up by @Camperdown coz its also an Amazing DD like Haida

    He said Lo Yang. I think he wants for the Hydro. It has Benham fire power with lower range, So hydro is its only saving grace. So I gave a couple of options for Hydro DDs since Lo Yang is trash now imo. Z-23 is much better, Z-35 is a gunboat, HSF Harekaze ii gives a new playstyle which works quite well in Randoms and I quite like with some 150mm guns to catch cruisers occasionally. So I recommended it if he wants something new. Siliwangi if he doesn't like any of the following.
