    Yes A Unicum played Manfred would have the same, heck even better influence. They have the tools against every class, the planes are very fast and so they can go for the first strike. Sorry nvm, not vs Japanese coz Japanese is kinda a mix between US and German with its own Japanese flavoured torps. And no only potatoes don't eat those torps. The torps are fast. And the drop spread is very good, which makes them eat that damage. Like it has to be the most perfect situation to finally dodge a torp like that and that doesn't happen often does it? Also I mentioned the planes are fast. You just reposition and give em hell. And sometimes my AP rockets made cruisers turn broadside to my team and they got deleted. Would a USN CV be able to do that mate? Also there is no such thing as bad or good rng. RNG is RNG. Sometimes its the aim or a slight miscalculation that messes the drop up. Graf Zeppelin works differently, its mechanics is basically designed to make the bombs miss, it ain't rng. And I still to this day got atleast 1 cit every drop. Yes there are some BBs that AP bombs in general can't cit, and that's coz the bombs fall on the superstructure and arm there Same is true for Haku bombs. That's why you wanna get that drop off soon so that it hits just beside the turret barbette to guarantee the cit. Its more a matter of timing and angle and that bring a bit of depth to these CVs imo and not just point-click-get rekt dynamic which is true for USN CVs. Imma be honest, this is the most hilarious thing I heard in the week. Go check the armor schemes and come back here. And the only reason I don't think MvR is broken is coz of that deck. It still bounces AP, and the rest, well, do I really have to explain why its a super tanky CV? Also the secs are the best of any line. Good range, good accuracy, and a fair chunk of them. Its like running Massa IFHE. Its upto you if you wanna build into them but I push endgame when my team has the favour and 9/10, my secs went ham on those low HP cruisers. And don't tell me they don't have enough pin. Superstructure exists and many cruisers have 25mm bow. So not such a "barely a Last Ditch Defence" is it? Thing is, the stukas, have a small reticle so atleast one hits and 4k at t6 when most DDs have like 9k-13k HP is pretty massive. So that's quite impressive. And the chance to not hit is pretty small. I in fact rarely got such a drop, and my aim is crap at times, so imagine a CV unicum playing Lowenhardt. Also guaranteed fire on BB coz Fire chance is high and damage is fair. Cruisers, both bombs hit quite often yielding upto like 10k dmg which is like a third of the hp poof. The bombs at that tier are so damn good. And the planes are fast enough to still outmaneuver and u can bait him to show broadside to your team and get rekt. Point is, German CVs have a lot more influence than you perceive them to. In fact the only German CVs that don't have much influence is the GZ (you basically use that ship for the secs) and the recently released Max Immelmann coz while skip bombers aren't bad, you don't have much besides that, so you can only damage farm for the rest of the game.

    Wdym? I nuke DDs with those stukas let alone BBs and the majority of the enemy team is dumb enough to give you broadside and those are T8 AP rockets. And the planes are fast so they can reposition themselves and dodge flak way better. Agreed with the torps You said USN CVs are good but RN CVs are not coz their dmg doesn't stick. Uh what? British rockets are trash against heavy ships but you dumpster DDs with them. Same from USN rockets. And both bombs are HE, so both dmg can be healed back. USN torps are good, RN torps have more chance of hitting coz their spread is as such (wide on drop but narrows gradually) Damage output is lower? We aren't talking German HE here. Also AP rockets with fast planes, you almost exclusively get broadsides (coz a) You reposition better coz the planes are very fast and have good turn rate, and also you dodge flak and well continuous does jack crap, b) Many ppl still don't get the concept of turning away) Horrible at hunting DDs? 1. You don't only hunt DDs by damaging them, you spot them as well. 2. And remind me what the very fast, low damage god dispersion torps are for. The AP bombs have the highest potential AP damage of any CV and you always get atleast 1 that does like 8k and maybe a pin or two. You get double cits a lot as well. Triple cits aren't as regular as it once was but its good for the BBs and SCs other wise it would be a bit too broken imo. All and all German CVs are tricky to play but if mastered, they are rough to deal with and have a lot of influence on the battle. Not to mention that in the right scenario they can push in coz they are stupidly tanky and have good secs base (if you build a bit of accuracy they are even better.

    DM Individually DM is just better than Worcester in a lot of ways And the grind is just better Well both have the fastest reloads for Heavy cruisers of T10 DM has better HE alpha (not by much tho) while Hindi has way better HE pin. DM and Hindi have pretty much the same AP pin performance but DM AP has special pin angles, while Hindi AP has a lot of alpha. Both are very good at close range, and hindi is good at long range to and that's where DM sucks. Hindi has an extra gun while DM gets a faster reload. Armor wise, Hindenburg is tankier coz Turtleback and being so thin means more overpins than cits. Also Hindi has an extra heal base and it either gives you three points to spend somewhere else, or it gives you BB number of heals that very few cruisers at higher tiers get. DM has radar/spotter and hydro/DFAA while Hindi has German hydro (the best hydro in the game)/DFAA and Spotter. Both are very good. Go for both. Grind up both the lines simultaneously

    Cap German CVs require you to think and breathe at the same time. Doesn't mean they are horrible. Again cap. Ark royal is quite a good CV Erich is literally the best CV at t6 with nukes, AP rockets, and okish torps. If that's meh, might as well call enterprise balanced

    For the premium CVs? Get Erich Lowenhardt for now, as she leaves the store in two weeks and is a great CV. Now on to the CV lines We have 4 CV lines USA, Japan, Britain and Germany The US CVs are the best CVs to begin with. Good HE bombs, good torps, the best HE rockets. Planes are quite slow tho, tho not as slow as the british. But it should help you to master the basics. Then go for the British CVs. Ppl say they are bad, but I genuinely think its quite good. Torps go from wide to narrow kinda direction which allows you to hit cruisers (even the agile ones) in the face quite hard. Rockets are kinda meh. You launch a crap ton of them but they can only pin 27mm and the fire chance and dmg ain't great. Best for use against DDs or to set a fire. Carpet HE bombers are amazing. They cover a huge area, and they deal quite the dmg and set fires all day. Its a good line for those who are mastering the basics. Now we have the AP CVs Japanese are the OG ones. The AP bombs move down, hit the deck and citadel the ship on a good drop. Angles needs to be perfect tho. They also are quite fast for planes, and the AP DBs move down immediately and land on top of the ship. They have fair HE rockets, which set fires and can dmg DDs. Her torps are her best weapon. Her topr planes have very good conceal so with the proper build you can literally start your attack run unspotted and when you are spotted, you launch the torps. And the torps hit very hard. You should go for this line when you have basically mastered the CV (mastered means you are quite good at it and the team can rely on you for winning the game) and you like AP bombs and good torps. German CVs are the hardest one to master. They are purely AP CVs. AP rockets for use against cruisers, AP bombs for use against BBs and SCs, and the torps for DDs coz the torps are fast, they have a good disp and don't hit hard. This CV basically requires you to think and breathe at the same time to get the most out of them unlike the US CVs. Your planes are the fastest of the bunch but are the weakest in terms of HP. You can't just point and click and hope to succeed like the rest (except maybe the japanese). You have to plan your attacks in advance, and if something goes wrong you are screwed but if your prediction is right, you are rewarded quite a lot (hence at the start, I always use my torps as I'll dmg anything efficiently (even if its not that high of dmg) and through scouting, I can use the rest of my aircraft efficiently). Once you master the German CVs, you are basically a legendary dragon aka the current Hakuryu. Its quite hard to actually master the CV but a good CV player can quickly turn the tide of battle. In terms of fun levels, the German CVs are the most fun as they are the most complicated. So that's what you need to know. USN CVs should be your first, German should be your last. Get Lowenhardt as your CV premium, but don't start playing it, until you are ready. You can figure out the rest of the premiums along the way.

  18. The reason why I like her is coz her guns are competitive. She overmatches BBs, and actually has decent accuracy at all ranges. I have got 18k salvos at 15km and its amazing. And her gun firing angles, reload and turret traverse for guns and turrets this large are amazing. Her gun firing angles in particular make her a great BB And she is quite versatile compared to Satsuma and German hydro keeps this ship from eating a full salvo weight of torps And you had no MS? Still 45% accuracy? Wish my GK had that and the good firing angles. I can see this BB replacing GK as the German T10, but well that kinda put Yamato in a bad spot so idk

    Lighthouse builds are where you sacrifice concealment for improved damage potential. Concept is to keep firing and firing and bring the damage up, rack up kills and help the team in that way. You take either survivability or manuverability skills to help in that aspect so that you aren't deleted just like that. For eg for Hindi There is definitely more here than just 1% fire chance. Its actually 3% with the appropriate flags and the skill. The there is reload, shells enhancement, freaking 5 heals (or more HP with SE if you so choose) and basic PT and Gun Feeder. Build can be optimized to one's liking, but this is how I roll in Hindi in Randoms. Brought me quite a few 200k - 250k games with some 300k games in there. Outnumbered basically works on the flanking, kiting cruisers on a losing flank, although I have to agree that its overpriced for what its worth. They could have introduced a bonus for like having fully upgraded the ship or getting 21 skill points mastered, and crap like radiolocation, outnumbered, dazzle, can be pooped in there And there are some cruisers, where you basically have all the things you need from the start and you decide to spend 6 points on AA. The only torp skill that makes sense is damage. Then again I would have liked to see that on DDs. Not a huge amount, maybe something like 5%/7%. On cruisers maybe put the damage as a 2 skill point and mix the speed and reload into one skill as a one pointer. Put something else at T3 like a sec enhancement. Maybe put a FP in Outnumbered's place. As for Ultra CLs at lower tiers, they need a bit of range, but at higher tiers they have range mod, and more tools available so plz no range buff or skill for them.
