do those soviet archives have spaceship designs Maybe add them at some point?

ST 0.10.5, changes to test ships (DB 164)

Brawling BBs work in ranked and have tier own gamemode now. So that's nice ig

    ZF-6

Tech tree ships require grinding and player skill can and does improve along the way Odin losing its HP made many players especially the average ones who love powerful ships, not like her. ZF-6 however attracted a lot of players. And I mean a lot. That's why the WR is so potato. WR has nothing to with a ship rather the players. If you don't want to give your money, that's a different story and I support you on that. But not getting this ship becoz it was essentially very cheap to get and has potato WR is well, kinda stupid tbch. T9 also yields you a lot of income. Then again your call I can only recommend a ship to you. I can't advertise and force you to. I am not WG

    Heavy HE/AP Shells Skill

I mean on something like colbert, you have what 800K dpm AP? No thnx. I'd much prefer lowering the value to 180mm so that ships like Tallinn, Nevsky and Pyotr can take advantage of it

    Z-31?

Agreed except two things She isn't big or very clumsy. Her conceal is 6.3 which for her tier is quite good. Her own nation's DD counterpart as the same conceal fully upgraded as Z-31 has base. She has the best AP pin at T7 among DDs, but still struggles. So yeah, rest I agree with and that makes her a bad ship. Felix was worth it tho. Elbing is looking to be a treat

    Z-31?

You could have given the T5 AP DPM to the red ranger but anyway, Z-31 sucks. But she does well in some players hands.
  7. What in god's name is this?? Hybrids are currently facing a lot of hate. But I seem to like the Ise Here's why Ise is a stripped down Hyuga but in compensation has a torpedo bomber squad to launch. I liked this coz eight 14 inch guns was tier 5 BB fire power and it had bad gun angles on top. And the torp bomber itself isn't that impressive. But combining both made it a strong ship. Its know that - x - = +. That's what happened with this ship and made it strong but not OP. Using the weapons individually made it crap, but using both simultaneously made a unique and interesting concept of weapons cycle. It actually required skill to do well Well this Kearsarge removes that completely. It take Tiny Tim rocket planes and combines them with essentially a BB with tier 10 fire power. These are NC guns. So that means its a better Minnesota (in AP alpha strike and reload) with the hybrid CV on top. It removes that good balance that Ise had. Tiny Tim rockets are no joke, and can set fires on BBs and pin pretty much every cruiser except the German SCs. Like why did you bring this design to WoW and why now? Like wut? On top of that good concealment. Ise had to lose a bunch of her firepower for Aircraft and that balanced it. This ship loses nothing. Its the traditional 30 knot BB, has good conceal, better than Minnesota in firepower which is tier ten levels of firepower at that point. And also she has exactly the same amount of HP as FDG which is a mid to close range brawling BB. I don't know what kind of armor this thing is getting, but I won't be surprised if its gonna be decent at best as it is typically with Americans. This is a bad idea, hear that WG What's your thought forumites?

Lets break down the new T10 Elbing

ok These DDs have come a fair way in development. Z-31 sucks mothballs especially after the nerfs the poor thing got GJM is ok at best, but pretty meh especially coz its AP can't cit cruisers at T8 at even 8km. Felix improves on that, and it feels nice and relaxing to play. AP smacks light cruisers at 10km ish, and Heavy cruisers at around 5km Elbing looks like a treat. Carbine, Flambass, Trenlass have played it and they say its good. So I am interested. And I saw the AP mess up many cruisers at 8km, and its high alpha and accuracy results in high alpha salvos with the HE (3k ish) and AP does like 2k every salvo with just overpins. Interesting. These DDs play the gunboat role a bit different it seems than normal and I like new playstyles. I liked the Schultz and am looking forward to Elbing

    Salem or Yoshino

the multitasking type cruisers that can respond to most battle situations fairly well American heavy cruisers, German cruisers, British CLs, Riga and Petro These cruisers are the ones that have carry potential as they can respond to most circumstances fairly well. They bring dmg, utility, can fight for caps, can fight at close range and long range fairly effectively, and can kill DDs. French can also carry coz their speed, and DD killing RB can help them win games. Plus they fairly good torps to spam around
  10. totally_potato

    ZF-6

Anchorage is quite decent. I don't have PR. Hizen would have been good, if her guns had a bit more pin. Odin was good in smaller scale battles like ranked until the commander rework happened and the secs (one of the main selling points) got butchered hard. She would be good if she had a bit more HP, AP angles, better HE, and if her secs are fixed. If not the HP, atleast a good heal (KGV with Massa reload, and crap like that)
  11. totally_potato

    ZF-6

that tells jackshit Its a free ship so many ppl got it so ofc its gonna have an average WR The ship itself is quite good She is a T9 premium at the cost of what, a T5 premium? And she is a good T9 premium Good guns with good AP, good HE pin and MBRB Good torps with okish range, good speed and dmg Good conceal, good agility for the most part except the speed Pretty potent AA in practice You can accomplish a multitude of tasks with ZF-6, she is that versatile. Is she better than Z-46? No. Both are equally good. Z-46 gains a bit more speed, hydro and one more gun, ZF-6 gets improved AP angles, main battery reload booster and (depending on a point of view) better torps (worser range gives much less chance to use them tho but she does have good conceal She has a fair amount of tools, and you apply them very well. Good premium. Worth it

    Salem or Yoshino

Ok let's get this out of my brain Salem is a Des moines with more survivability. It is has slight less HP but it gets a superheal. It had a worse radar range tho although everything else is the same about the radr in duration, reload and charges. The consumable selection is weird. You can have a 8.5km radar or a hydro. I personally found the hydro more useful at close range. But once I used the radar after they buffed the duration a while back, radar became an ok pick. Functionally its still a copy pasta DM. I personally took Salem coz its camo is good and superheal on a cruiser sounded nice (don't judge me, I didn't know Mino had a superheal coz I never played it and one shot a mino everytime in my BB). Yoshino is a super Zao. Weakest among its supercruiser counterparts in terms of survivability although you do bounce 16 inch guns with proper angling. Its guns and torps are her selling point. Her guns have good HE in terms of dmg, fire chance and its pins 50mm+ like every other supercruiser, so it can be a very good firestarter. Her AP can be very monstrous against broadsiding cruisers and at closer ranges, broadsiding BBs. She also has 12km/20km shima torps, 8 of them per side. They are very useful in kiting position. Her conceal is well kinda good tbh. So you play this ship as a fire starter, you want to be at around 15km from your enemies, and in late game situations, if your team is winning, you can push in and utilise the AP. You can also hold a flank by yourself, by burning them down. Use the torps only when you are kiting away or are in a brawl. Don't use the torps as your main weapon. Yoshino was fun in my first few games, coz there was always a question running, on whether the BB can dev strike you or not, and the heavy HE salvos and fires you accumulated. She kinda got boring tho after that. I personally find Hindenburg much more enjoyable to play, coz you always have to think about your ammunation, and in today's WoW, her conceal isn't too bad, and if you have the opportunity, you can push in and utilise the very good hydro and AP. But if you like Fires and that kinda crap, then Yoshino is your choice. Nuestra is basically an Ognevoi who did his homework but ate too many homemade burgers in the process. You are essentially a very survivable torpedo boat. You have super heal, very good conceal, and good torps. Her guns are lackluster but she still wins gunfights against some DDs coz her Base HP isn't tooo bad, and she has superheal. Your AP is quite decent against cruisers Now it depends upon you, your playstyle and playstyle preference. If you want my recommendation, if you already have DM, then go Yoshino. Or you can look at some other coal ships, or buy some of the special commanders and consumable modifications. Or just save it up for future ships. Its your coal, not mine

    Heavy HE/AP Shells Skill

the Ultra CLs get to enjoy a dmg boost without loss to conceal So that's fine ig. They can make the limit to 150mm guns enjoy the dmg boost without penalty or 155mm AP should honestly be a skill buff for 180mm and above. On anything else, and their AP DPM would skyrocket to insanity

Another Hybrid but its much much worse

H-45 Hitler's so called dream 500,000 ton+ BB 800mm main battery guns in 4 dual turrets (the guns are from the 800mm gustav gun used in WW2) Bunch of big secondaries Torpedoes Speed of 31 knots Insane armor, like this ain't even funny and a plane complement of 75 I was recently told that its a fantasy internet creation but WG probably don't care

Don't bump into islands in the current update.

Warrior's path is the worst of the lot for this That's a shame coz I like that map. Lot of Islands for DDs and brawling BBs as well as enough room for cruisers and snipers

    Annoyed AF

Then get Yamato The grind is worth it. Coz you are in a real ship, and firing the biggest guns in the game (not counting the special Satsuma which is a temporary event ship and Shikishima which is ok ig). And her playstyle kinda suits the current meta If you like Tanky tho, go for Kremlin although CVs kinda ruined the whole tanking aspect of Bbs in general
  19. totally_potato

    Annoyed AF

I think Duke is much more versatile. AP hits those cruisers harder and kinda makes up for ovematch tbh And hydro is always nice to have Idk why Gneisenau doesn't have it tho
  20. totally_potato

    Annoyed AF

KGV is quite a good BB at her tier She counters heavily armored BBs like Sinop, Gneisenau, etc. Her accuracy isn't too bad tbh What build are you using? Also struggling in Lion? You gotta remember that British BBs get standard BB plating all round. In this case for KGV its 26 all round except the belt. 32 mm all round on Monarch, Lion and Conqueror. You also might wanna use the HE quite a lot. First you have to stay at mid range, and use the HE shells and only when you get a broadside cruisers, or a cruiser you can overmatch (Lion has 16 inch guns, so it can overmatch all cruiser bow plating, can't overmatch the mid section of Russian heavy cruisers and tier 10 heavy cruisers in general. Your short fuse AP tends to cit cruisers more than other BBs. Your HE has enough pin to slap ultra light cruisers with cits. And you get a fire pretty much all the time. You do get an improved heal over others. Also Lion and Conqueror gets the Super Heals that prints you a new ship (brings half your Hp back) You have to be conservative in british BBs. If you like aggressive stances, you push in, kill a ship, then flee, use that improved heal, get back into the fight, once you had enough, you can go back in heal. Its kinda fun to play them this way (well its still kinda works in KGV, but for the higher tiers, its a completely different meta). Also you have very good stealth. SO you can kinda close in to ranges, other Bbs or some cruisers couldn't, ambush the enemy, take the fire for a bit, deal dmg and retreat. That is practically the most fun way to play these BBs. If you want more relaxing gameplay, play them like a heavy cruiser.

Another Hybrid but its much much worse

She is supposed to fight at mid range. Say 14km. She has the stealth, she has a fair amount of speed, she has the spotting advantage, and she has Tier ten level of Firepower. How is that trash? And assuming WG sticks to their code, its gonna be an underwater cit and 38mm deck. Superstructure is a universal problem among BBs so that isn't worth discussing Also how tf does she get 13.3km conceal if the ship is that large? Also Ise was good coz her mediocre firepower with her bomber squad makes her come out on top, but over reliance on any one of the weapons bring her dmg down by so much. Kearsage is in the case, a BB with tier ten firepower and planes. If that isn't a recipe for OP monster, then idk what is. Also it completely removes the meaning of hybrid. Hybrid is a ship which has both equally effective armament and using both makes the ship come out on top. Here, the tiny tims are a bonus. And tiny tims are quite good. They are especially good against cruisers, fairly good against DDs, and good against BBs coz high pin and fire chance and a fair amount of dmg per rocket. They have to make the guns bad enough that only by using both weapons, will it come out on top in a fight Also premium tier 9 American hybrid? I sense a US CV line coming (Just a guess, not sure but could very well be possible)
  22. DD gun build always yields me more AA Cruisers I only run it if I can spare the skill points BBs, almost never. Only on Vermont and Slava CVs have only two AA perks and I run them on Germans but for the secs and I run the 4 pointer one only. I wonder if Subs will have AA
  23. totally_potato

Another Hybrid but its much much worse

Ise has Kongo fire power plus the planes. That's what balances it as a ship. A T6 with quite mediocre firepower (T5s have better firepower) with planes This thing has better firepower than some Tier 10s, good conceal and the planes. And this thing has the chance to get 38mm deck coz its american and pretty much all high tier americans have 38mm deck except Vermont which has 51 and Kansas which has 32. And if they wanna go shotgun accuracy then they can. I don't how to fix this ship other than, keep it in dev hell for years
  24. totally_potato

    ZF-6

Its a dockyard ship So most likely no. PR was a dockyard ship and that took place like 2 years ago and that ship still isn't anywhere to be seen. So its now or never (and get the ship, 100% guaranteed you'll enjoy it)
  25. totally_potato

Another Hybrid but its much much worse

No I think the Hybrid concept was good. For Ise at least. crap gunpower, crap planes (only one attack flight and lower HP than standard CV) Combine them into one, you get a good ship Like if you rely one one of things over the other, you lose But if you use both simultaneously, you come out on top That's what interested me. This Keearsage is already good as a standard BB and add planes on top and that's a recipe for an OP ship. If the ship had like half of the current fire power it has, then it would have interested me. Coz the whole concept of using all your tools than relying on one is what makes a hybrid. Like hybrid DDs have to use both Guns and torps to get the maximum value. Its what drew me to Dds like Z-52.
