  1. oh hell ya it is I think, the big streamers need to try it at some point
  2. Axis vs Allies is high tier, so they can earn more there. Your proposal is very good, but WG doesn't care. You have to live with that. Otherwise, imagine the number of proposals I would have made till now.
  3. The stock one has only 5 guns, and the upgraded one has 6 guns Fully upgraded, its good. Better than Lightning in performance, but def not tier for tier. Also more skilled players up at that tier, and good competition of ships like Kitakaze, Z-46, Mogador, etc
  4. Damage control, if you get into gunfights more Engine room if you mess up more often then not Hydro, if you want a never ending hydro
  5. WG won't do it Your proposal is sound But WG is too deaf so yeah

New German battlecruiser tech tree line coming next.

I think this is where I agree with WG A BC line is better than a BB split. Coz they may carry the same symbol and class, but the playstyle is completely different. That's why I think the American BB split and German DD split is ok, coz they had preparations for that before. Colorado was a glass canon. Very bad armor (good armored cit, but crap plating), very slow, and but good firepower. And uptil Vermont, this stands (Vermont gets some good plating for the deck and a lot of HP so she is fairly tanky for a ship marketed as a glasscanon). So if you look at the OG 3 T8-10 BBs as a lin split, a sudden change in concept so far into the tech tree is hard for a fair amount of players. Same with the Soviet split. I see so many petro players, HE spamming from the back of the map, and its hilarious and sad at the same. Its different for these new German DDs. I won't go in detail into the line. But from T6, you have the 128mm guns and the 150mm guns, and then the line splits at T7. So you actually have time, to think about the crap you are doing and supposed to do. That makes this line split fair. So for BCs, it adds a new playstyle to this class in general, that has been explored before, but not deeply. So for new players, two entire lines brings options, it brings the earlier designs and ships to light, etc. Just starting at T6-8 isn't a a great idea. A whole line of BCs? Absolutely with WG on this one.

PT 0.10.6, balance changes to test ships

Indomitable is worse tho. Her strike power is limited. Atleast GZ has some good torps. If they make her DBs a bit more reliable, we consider her a fast attack surprise mf CV that you practically can never ambush
  11. Dockyard looks ok. Hats off to the Art department in all but one aspect. Those trees look ugly as hell. Its like you took them directly from a kid's cartoon show, so hopefully that is fixed. Ig it was rushed to take this pic and they were not finished Rules look ok. Idk the exact price, in the last three phases. I am expecting anywhere from 4500 - 5250 dubs. But regardless, I might pick this up. But otherwise, I might not buy any other premium ships, coz that's enough money to give to a game. Unique Dutch commander Klaas Janssen with the following enhanced skills: For Destroyers, Cruisers and Battleships: "Pyrotechnician" — chances of main battery HE shells causing a fire on target +1.5% instead of the standard 1%; For Cruisers and Battleships: "Expert AA marksman" — priority sector AA damage +35% instead of the standard 25%. Looks like an interesting commander Nice flag So good luck to the clans for double CV teams. CVs are better than BBs anyway. Let alone both of them becoz double Ise combines both BB, and CV Ranked battles may not be an amazing experience anymore (it never was tho, but there were some fun moments). But if the secondary change is as good as I hope it to be, then its all good. Also Vigilance gets a lot more value Nice. Missouri gets all the goodies after she has been powercrept. Maybe a missouri buff at some point?? T2-4 premium containers. Pog. Toaster flag?? Yes baby. Been wanting that for a while now. NOt a bad devblog but I am worried about how ranked is gonna turn out.

ST 0.10.7, changes to commander skills

Ok lemme share my views regarding this topic:- Battleships skills Line 1 Pyrotechnician Added a bonus: +15% to the fragmentation damage area of main battery and secondary battery shells, as well as HE rockets and bombs, when firing at submarines. Nice, Pyro now becomes way more valuable as a 1 pointer than it was before Consumables Enhancements The skill is replaced with "Brisk": increases your ship's speed by 10% while undetected Ok, now the skill isn't that bad. So the faster ships, can make use of it. Particularly BCs will benefit from these. Vigilance Added a bonus: +7% to torpedo protection. (Damage reduction) Damn. I suggested this change a month or two back, glad its making way into the game. Nice perk for some BBs AA Gunner Added a bonus: +10% damage caused by depth charges Added an activated effect: Ship consumables reload 5% faster while the ship's AA is active That makes that 2 point AA skill way more valuable. And it could perfectly fit into some builds. Very nice. Rewards you for actually try to mitigate CV's dmg Added a new skill (instead of Enhanced Anti-Torpedo Protection): Activated effect: -0.5% to the reload time of the Repair Party consumable for each potential damage value received, equal to the ship's total HP. The name of the skill is currently a WIP So a alternative to BoS? This is nice. This will actually reward you for taking dmg aka pushing in/brawling. This is the best of the lot Expert AA Marksman Added a bonus: -15% to the reload time of the Airstrike armament (including the one of anti-submarine defense aircraft. Sadge, not for ASW, but Air strike in general. This means the DUtch BBs are coming with Air strike. Oh well Added a new skill (instead of Brisk): Activated effect: -5% to the main battery reload time and +5% to the dispersion of shells fired by enemies attacking your ship for each active fire set on your ship. The name of the skill is currently a WIP So another skill that reward you for getting set on fire? So its an alternative to FP? Ok, this ain't that bad either. One who actually thinks about these fires, they might benefit from this a lot. Its a noob trap for some tho Close Quarters Combat Removed the bonus of -10% to the secondary battery reload time You could have added something else, otherwise make this a skill point less, coz its gonna be hella situational, unless you start making maps, that force you to brawl at some point in the game. Improved Secondary Battery Aiming Added permanent effects: -10% to the secondary battery reload time -10% to the dispersion of secondary battery shells Changed the mechanics of the bonus to the maximum dispersion of secondary battery shells fired at a priority target: Activated effect: the accuracy of the secondary battery on a priority target gradually increases with the continuous firing of the secondary battery. The maximum bonus to the secondary battery from this activated effect is +50%. This can be achieved if the secondary battery was continuously firing for 45 seconds. If the secondary battery is not firing for 15 seconds, the bonus to accuracy from the activated effect gradually decreases. When the priority target is changed, the bonus to the accuracy on the new priority target from the activated effect is instantly bumped down to 75% of the accumulated bonus. Ok someone needs to explain this to me. @Tanatoy @Crysantos @MrConway @TheWarJaC So the permanent effects you added. You took it from CQC and put it into ISBA. Fine, but what's up with the dispersion. Are you adding -10% disp bonus to the already given -35% bonus, or is it a replacement?? For the activated effect it seems like its basically what used to happen in real life. The more you shoot, the more accurate it becomes. Upto 50% bonus accuracy, for firing with secs for 45 secs? So the longer we stay alive within that 10 - 12.5km range, the more we are rewarded? That's nice. And we we stop shooting, as I understood from the Official live stream, we were climbing upto that bonus, if target is switched, then we start from there, but if we have already gained the bonus, and we switched targets, only 75% of that bonus is applied, and its quickly climbs back to the 50% bonus. Well that is actually pretty nice. If I stated anything wrong, can you clarify it? Cruisers skills Line 2 Pyrotechnician Added a bonus: +15% to the fragmentation damage area of main battery and secondary battery shells, as well as HE rockets and bombs, when firing at submarines Ok same Pyro buff, good good Expert AA Marksman Added a bonus: -10% to the reload time of the Airstrike armament (including the one of anti-submarine defense aircraft) ok, Dutch cruiser buff then AA Gunner Added a bonus: +15% damage caused by depth charges Added an activated effect: Ship consumables reload 10% faster while the ship's AA is active Ok so this activated effect is a point cheaper on the BB and its half the effect on the BB? Ok ig. Now CV counter skills, are combined with sub counter skills, an aspect I like. Outnumbered Bonus to the main battery accuracy and ship speed is now activated when there are not only more visible enemy ships than allies, but also the same number of them within the firing range of your ship's main battery. The bonus will also be active when there are both no enemy or allied ships within the firing range of your ship's main battery. So as far as I understood, if there are more enemy ships than allied ships, as well as equal enemy ships as allies, you get the bonus. So it encourages some form of pushing. Could be good on Henri. Ain't for the kiting cruisers tho. But still, its costly for what its worth. @Tanatoy @Crysantos @MrConway @TheWarJaC. Can you clarify this? Destroyers skills Line 2 Pyrotechnician Added a bonus: +15% to the fragmentation damage area of main battery and secondary battery shells when firing at submarines. Ok same good pyro change Extra-Heavy AP Shells Added a bonus: +10% damage caused by depth charges Its nice but, it makes no sense. The EHAP skill is for enhancing the AP. If you want to add a buff, I would say add a buff such that, we get an AP pen buff, and on the ships that have bad AP pen it benefits them the most, just like how the previous Expert marksman benefitted the BBs with slow turret traverse more. Also for the Depth charge addition maybe add this to Main battery and AA specialist? Coz otherwise, it doesn't make any sense Aircraft carriers skills Line 4 Hidden Menace Added a bonus: -50% to the height which planes have to reach to become invulnerable either after an attack or after recalling them to the carrier by pressing F. With this skill active, squadrons will reach the height at which they will become invulnerable to AA faster. Ig it becomes way more valuable for CVs. But srsly for Hidden menace, all you had to do was take away the whole slower time to get back to CV. You lose dmg for taking this skill anyway since its costly anyway. So for BBs, they are getting an overall buff For cruisers, its a buff Ig, but the whole Outnumbered thing still is confusing me, but for the AA skills, its a nice buff overall For DDs, its a few adjustments here and there so ok ig For CVs, unnecessary buff Not a bad devblog :)

Randoms were better back then. Yes sniping in first few minutes, and then we pushed Btw, there is a secondary skill change coming, they announced it on stream
  17. I didn't know it was gonna be German, but I did expect a BC line coz Repulse is getting added, not that many BBs to add apart from the dutch, but the cruisers are already getting introduced so yeah. I was expecting British BCs since they didn't get a new line in a while.

yeah, but that's all the Oklahoma gets. Everything else is trash about the ship. Agincourt has the secs, and good HE plus number of guns but its so inaccurate lol. So both of these ships are bad ship topped up by good secs. Konig is a good ship with good secs. I agree that would be nice for a change. Maybe a line of Panzersheiffs

    Torpedo bug: weekly update

k, cool during development, you (not you, I mean Devs) could have maybe thought of solutions to potential problems. Like shallow rocks for the sub world Great, if you fix it, players will be the happiest about it.

remember a time when ship lines were exciting, interesting and fairly uncommon?
  21. How about space ships in the game. Would be pretty nice to have some of em. Perfectly russian engineered...........Yeah sry not happening Dumb crap aside Jingles posted a vid a few days ago so I reposted this vid and marked the time at which this discussion starts. So basically he and the trashkent player he featured are saying that CVs rockets really nuked DDs (and it really did), and less and less DDs were there. That took out one of the roles of cruisers. And more and more BBs started appearing, which lead to cruisers players getting demoralised to play. Add to that the CVs basically ignoring AA of many cruisers (including DM). So it was pretty much 5 BBs, 1 CV, and a couple of DDs. The DDs size increased a bit becoz BBs, and a few cruisers came back and got nuked anyway. So it basically was a shitshow. Now the rocket change occurred and more and more DDs are now coming. Since apart from some RNG based HE bombs, the DDs pretty much were safe from dmg from CV (well ofc not completely, but far less than before where it got butchered). Becoz of so many DDs, more and more cruisers are coming. Another reason for cruisers coming was becoz BBs significantly decreased. I can't label that as CAP. I play on NA, and I have see max 3 BBs per team with a crap ton of DDs and cruisers. So number of DDs were in check coz cruisers, and number of cruisers in check coz there a few BBs hanging around, and there now DDs that hard counter overextending cruisers (The new German line, druid, T8-10 FR DDs). So less boring camping static gameplay, as far as my experience in these last few days tell. And well subs are coming to the game so the Rocket change was for that probably. So my opinion is that, it feels kind of better than before. Based on the last few days. Am glad jingled and Trashkent guy pointed that out. So what's your opinion regarding all of this (No buff CV crybabies allowed, jk everyone is allowed LUL). Would be interesting to hear everyone's take on this. And for context, I have linked the vid above to exactly when the discussion starts.

Tin foiled hat ft. Jingles, and a topic I wanna discuss about

I would agree with the BB statement. They can tank so much more. If they tank and do something for the team, its a strong class to deal with. The unlaziest of the BBs are also punished for existing so, yeah. The whole point of a game is that, if you're good, you'll succeed, if they make an mistake, then they get punished. And cruisers have the highest damage potential in the game. Its a glasscanon type of class. High dmg, low survivability (there are exceptions ofc). A DD can blap a bad cruiser player, not a good one. Cruisers are the hardest class to play, but a well played cruisers, can carry his team to victory. Rest I do agree with

Tin foiled hat ft. Jingles, and a topic I wanna discuss about

the main thing that will shorten the lifespan of this game, is the dev incompetence and not caring attitude towards the community. Then again, WoT survived for more than a decade doing that, so idk anymore
  24. totally_potato

Tin foiled hat ft. Jingles, and a topic I wanna discuss about

well as fast as today is concerned, they have already gone too deep. And if they introduce a gimmick less ship, then its gonna be relatively weak (look at Flandre). So rn, gimmicks are the only thing that will bring diversity. If this was 2017 we were talking, I would definitely agree with you.

New German battlecruiser tech tree line coming next.

Elbing is not a DD. Its a freaking cruiser. Spahkruzer aka Scout cruiser is what it was designated as. So yeah it won't do things as well as other DDs. The only reason its a DD, is coz as a CL, it would be relatively weak. As for the route with Khaba, ppl are playing them more and more. The entire German CV line is pretty good (they aren't OP anymore), and T9 and T10 are not that bad either for the Heavy DD line. Yes its not super competitive, but it doesn't need to be. It just needs to be fun. Buffing the Elbing several times, was needed in order to save her from DoA, same goes to Felix, even thos it was nerfed a bit too. Z-31 is a dumpster fire, but GJM is not that bad.
