IJN cruisers have always been fairly easy to play. You had to kite, and had tools to support that, and if you had to the heavy cruiser's job of countering opposing Heavy cruisers, Light cruisers and occasionally DDs, you did that well. Its only from T8 the Mogami (which you haven't played yet it seems) is where things get a bit more difficult. Your armor is generally paper. Zao has a trolly cit but otherwise its squishy af in many aspects.

that means jackshit DD guns, if they have the pen, can break turrets. Druid has 15mm turret armor I believe, and Daring has 19mm HE pen, as well as a respectable explosion radius. And Druids turrets are very close together. So it has every chance to break like that. Its not a bug, it a good play or luck of the Daring player You should never show full bow, give a bit of angle so that there is a chance for shells to go to your hull and damage you instead of destroying the turrets.

Yeah I heard that's getting buffed Even Rhein secondaries (considering how few of them are there), aren't bad. They kill low HP ships pretty well Hidden Menace could be a good skill, but you lose either enhanced survivability, or enhanced strikes. So you better think about this.

Nah I am gonna buy the Tone actually. Its a swiss knife and a half. But as far as I have seen the Weimar, she is a CL with decent protection, good DPM and damage output. She is nasty in a brawl (faced one last night, in my Scharnhorst, it almost killed me from full HP, and it was early in the game, but he had overextended, so he died before he could kill me) She has good HE, and good AP, Hipper torp firepower, and she can dumpster opposing CLs fairly well. Her big gimmick limitation and counteration is the range and the spotter she brings. Idk, but it could be a German Lazo at this point. If someone knows better plz tell me.

they didn't completely fail. They succeeded with the DDs, CVs, and cruisers too. BBs is where they failed

Agreed Actually with the upcoming BCs, I doubt that could be good against DDs and subs now it becomes useful against two classes, 1 of which you will face at some point Yeah its a buff, but not a big one.
