yeah. That's called cap contesting, not DD hunting. DD hunting is when you are chasing the DD, the prey in this case. Daring is definitely not good at chasing DDs (change my mind LUL), but yeah, if a DD challenges a Daring then you win, unless that DD actually uses all the tools available than just flexing on its guns.

I don't chew through DDs But yeah, I do blap them well when they try to act smart. AP pens hurt like a lot, and the HE when atleast 5 connect (and they mostly do) deal some respectable chunks of dmg. Elbing tho is another level. More HP, and even overpens hurt.

She's not that different from Daring if you fire a lot of Daring AP. And honestly, Elbing is just a better AP ship and its free, so yeah. I also don't think the british are the best DD hunters, but since many DD players are stupid anyway, you do catch them and kill them. I just realised that even the German heavy DDs are faster than the British DDs

personal preference mostly I have all the steel ships and around 20K steel (Ig ranked for an hour per day ain't that crap) Although I hope Napoli isn't for steel As for Stalingrad, when I first got it, I loved it. Now its still a great ship, but Petro does the same, sometimes even better. So you could just grind the petro and have the stalingrad expereince, but if you want to get it, not a bad ship. I better grind a bit more today, need that goddamn steel

Gorizia - So its a unique heavy cruiser. Its a Zara without torps for the amazing German hydro. If you don't know what a Zara is, then lemme explain. So its an Italian heavy cruiser with SAP, Fuel smoke, and sea mine like torps (instead of torps Gorizia got hydro). Its also fairly tanky for a cruiser that isn't american or german. She provides, high alpha strikes, and overall damage to your team. And gorizia as a bonus provides hydro so she can be a DD's best friend at times. Also some hydro smoke shenanigans are possible Myoko brothers - I mean Myoko is one of the oldest ships in the game so you should know, but I can explain it anyway. Japanese Heavy cruiser, fancy camo, ten very good 8 inch guns, hard hitting HE, fairly good AP, torps, decent armor, good concealment, and its a very good kiting ship with good area denial tools.

Nice take Although I generally feel that the mid tier British DDs aren't complete utter gunboats that dumpster DDs. Daring more of that, but definitely not the tiers before that. And contrary to the German branch, the ships upto T10 have mediocre HP, and Daring has pretty ok HP, and the Germans have high hp upto the T10, and T10 has mediocre HP. So there is that. The AP on these DDs is good at T9 and T10, but pretty crap on the others. You are a DD that can do a lot of DD hunting and you can sustain, but you can be fairly well countered, atleast up till T9, coz the reload is actually mediocre at 4.5 seconds, and only the T10 gets the fast 2 second reload guns

tbh at this point, they don't just put a ship in the game. They create a ship based on the design, and so they change some aspects about it

Mine too. She isn't as boring as Worcester, Colbert and Smolensk. The fact that it farms with AP that well, is what makes her unique and fun for me, plus British acceleration dynamics, plus British tool kit and if you div up with another ship, you can take radar too. Its a nice ship and my favourite CL, not my favourite cruiser ofc, that honour goes to DM, but still my favourite CL
