    So how do I fight subs?

    as a cruiser and BB you find a sub, if he's in your airstrike range, drop em. If you have nothing else to shoot at, shoot the sub with whatever ammo you have preferably HE (all ammo types have a damage fragmentation area and they do dmg to subs but HE does the most with bigger area) as a DD if you see a sub, don't blindly chase it. He can just bait you into coming and taking a couple of main salvoes from half of the enemy team so yeah. If the sub you see is too far, and you are busy at something else, continue what you are doing, ping the map to notify the rest of the team about the sub. If he's like around 6km away from you, sure go hunt him. Keep the dama con ready too. That's all I can say for now. New starts aren't made yet.
  2. I mean in the long term for BBs, tank builds remained as is, but got costlier. Attack skills are utter junk (the higher point ones), and we have the most bare minimum of consumable upgrades, especially after this skill change. Secondary builds can be good when you get to use them, but that's an inconsistent phenomenon, even with all the island hopping, etc. There is no other builds apart from these unless you're a noob and want to spec for ASW and AA, which ig you can since the AA skills are actually pretty good from a AAA standpoint, and adding ASW there allows them to counter non surface combatants pretty well. So potentially 3 builds? No varying playstyles. No attack focused build, which I think should be a thing since BCs are coming soon. I suggest some sort of flat buff to the guns for 4 points. Something like a straight up -7% dispersion buff/+0.2 sigma or a -10% reload buff, instead of what we got which was Furious. Now I genuinely believe that Dead Eye's buff wasn't the problem, it was the condition for dead eye to be active that was, so giving just a flat accuracy buff of 10% or reduce it to 7% or even 5% and removing the condition would increase the whole attack skill section for BBs, maybe even buffing the AP skill by reducing the flood and fire duration penalty to 10% - 15% and also make some varying playstyles. For cruisers, the super cruisers lost a ton of stuff. Mainly survivability and secondary build potential. For all cruisers however, attack skills got better. And for standard heavy and light cruisers, the HP got buffed a bit, as well as a fair few versatility skills. And if outnumbered is as good as I hope, then a variable playstyle for brawlers and kiters/flankers. So standard cruisers got a far nice things, while super cruisers lost a fair few things For DDs, they gained a boost to the general 2 playstyles that DDs get which is torp boat and gun boat. There is enough points to make a hybrid playstyle, to make a DD hunting specific build, or damage farming build, etc etc. DDs benefited a great ton from the rework. For CVs, well they gained a ton of survival skills, attack skills, fighter skills, etc So verdict, skill rework more or less brought the old commander skill to a more complicated level with the same impact in the long run.
  3. uhh, we posted our opinions on 3v3 brawls and 1v1 brawls, and using that they decided to add a whole new mode. This wasn't hcance at all. We have been wanting convoys for a while, finally WG is testing them on the live server. They listened to feedback regarding the PR dockyard and they improved it significantly, etc etc. What WG's problem is when it comes to balance changes, is just looking at a big spreadsheet and relying on that. They haven't played the game themselves, they haven't looked much at gameplay, and they are arrogant af becoz ego is a thing, especially in a multinational company like WG. I suspect the probably take our feedback, look at some numbers, make up their own minds instead of investigating the issue further, or just put it in the back log and probably forget it and implement that change at a point when its not gonna do much anyways. They don't take balance changes feedback that srsly. This was one of the few times they actually listened to us, and that will be appreciated from my side

    fair enough. I do pen superstructure for 6k-12k dmg on Haarlem but that's probably luck, idk. Also non pens still set fires. So fires for everyone I suppose. well WG is never the most transparent with this stuff. So idk for sure, but I think ZF-6 dockyard was like this. You only had to buy the phases And well I may sound a little hyped. I had a great day today. In this case I am not hyped, but I am glad we were proven wrong again that stats doesn't tell the whole story. And many ppl pointed out she was gonna be terrible. And she wasn't so yeah. Good price for a captain trainer imo yeah Thnx for clarifying that

    Gibraltar has higher alpha and overmatch as a compensation for DPM I fear the AP might be too broken, coz Goliath AP as a base is not a bad place to start.

    So Super Minotaur Des Memes Lite Junior and Baguette CV? Sounds like a meme and a half I have to say tho, Bearn was a good candidate for T4 to start the French CV line. It as a prem makes me wonder what the actual T4 CV end up like.

    yeah Hardcore Transformer fan Can confirm everything you said Unlike the Godzilla disaster of a collab (Becoz WG's Mistress came to bite em back in the ***, Miss Communication), the transformer collab was a success in my eyes. Many ppl really didn't care about Transformers which is why they never looked at this and said whether WG did a decent job or not, but I certainly think both the marketing team and the art department hit the jackpot here. I enjoy my GK Megatron and Gearing bumblebee skin no cap, them in my ship while I am battling, giving commands via their voiceover, and Transformer music (gives me nostalgic vibes, ngl). I did actually buy them becoz I couldn't wait lol. But yeah could have gotten it for free. I have learnt to spend my money wisely now.

    its a grind sure. But the average player can complete while just laying the game. Time of 2 months I think (not 100% sure), so within that time, atleast 80% of the directives can be complete, by just playing the game as you usually do. I'll probably pay for the started pack, becoz after that I think you just have to grind the directives to get the ship coz 3 phases have already been paid for.
  12. interestingly, Two brothers at T7 is where the entire lot charged in down the middle trying to pull a flambass But yes at T6, CV and all made use have to go around, with maybe me or one of my div mate in a BB, hold the team from pushing while my fast DD and cruiser got behind. Bayern is pretty tanky ngl Btw Gneisenau, Weimar, and Z-39 were amazing here. Hydro, ability to cit cruisers and torps everything else made Z-39 really good (it could fight DDs back too), Weimar's firepower, yolo power, and AP, as Gneisenau's armor, torpedoes, guns that overmatch, and amazing speed, made these 3 an amazing combo German apes strong together

    not anemic. Normal healing, but faster recharge Its practically Premium american BB/Dutch cruiser/Gascogne heal, which is very good. even if you don't buy D7P Lots of free goodies

    I mean CCs also show ships they didn't like. I follow Carbine a lot and well, he likes this ship, and well he doesn't like that many ships tbf. He hated the druid, he didn't particularly like Tone either, etc. You can't exactly call that advertising although I do admit it sounds like that at times. I think where the D7P excels is its ability to outlast opponents with short cd heal and a bit of armor, while frequently using Airstrikes. And its AA is pretty damn good Pretty good second line cruiser as it turns out, and pretty fun for randoms. Your opinion may differ, so I ain't forcing mine on yours, just wanted to get that out of the way

    technically yes Faster recharge, more planes per flight but less bombs per plane so same alpha strike as Haarlem, but an extra flight. Couple that with better range, and ability to stealth strike Its basically the best trainer for airstrikes you can get. Since Airstrike prediction requires, timing, player experience, and proper leading, 3 strikes with a fast recharge where 1 D7P squad alpha = 1 Haarlem squad alpha, with D7P you can train with airstrikes better, so that you can get better with the other Dutch ships. And you combine that with a High RoF CL that fast and well armored for her time and with a heal

  17. I agree Brawls is a part of the game already. Its kind of like ranked seasons. Honestly its the only part of the game I actually appreciate WG for. Only gamemode that matters to me. If they destroy Randoms and ranked, idc, as long as brawls are in the game, I am a happy man Also full on german divs for the win German apes, strong together

  19. yeah I was in a Petro once Found myself in brawling distance of a GK and Idc how bad GK is, its one of the best brawlers in the game Cit the f out of him in petro. Got 3 cit on him aiming for that weak spot on the superstructure. I actually didn't expect cits whatsoever becoz I didn't know this mechanic existed at that point But it waas funny af anyways

    Mainz is pretty amazing tbf. Top tier CL in DPM and tankiness. But D7P does have an extra source of dmg, as well as better conceal, as well as better speed So yeah. Its not better than Mainz, but its a good ship tbf

    as far as I understood Second line support cruisers with a bit of everything? And then late game you are supposed to push the low HP ships and kill them.

    Might work on Norman coz the pen isn't really that big of a problem at that tier, and French do have same range as ze Germans
