It does... but still, the sound is different from the one you get in spectator mode (after you get killed and move your view to one of your teammates). In spectator mode view, it sounds like a broken engine... clonk, clonk, clonk... (even if you are not zoomed in close to the ship.

I only play since almost two years (so I don't know if it was like this forever) and I noticed this quite from the beginning. In spectator mode the Halland (and also Oster and I don;t remember about Oland) have a distinctive engine sound... I was always wondering "isn't that sound annoying when you play the ship?"... but no, when I got them, they sound very "normal"... only in spectator mode they have that "coffee maker" sound.

I noticed he's hunting the sub, so having the torps selected and loaded, the first thought was to torp the sub area in case he manage to get there to launch deep charges. But you may be right, I would probably had him killed sooner if I'd have done as you say. Well, the difference was only 5-10 seconds. Yeah, I know this one. :) In the heat of the battle I didn't notice how much (or little) life he still has. I supposed he's full, so I was simply afraid of a duel. And knowing my bad concealment and short guns, I preferred to run to try to get another opportunity. But then I realized he's low hp and I reconsidered. Thank you for your thoughts!

In Silver for the first time in my less-than-2-years career. Is not like I wasn't able to get thru until now, but I didn't even care to try. I was always stopping after 12 victories, after getting the doubloons. This time, however, I got on 2nd or 3rd position in bronze in the first day...so I said "if not now, then who?" :)) So here I am, among the bigger boys!

Do you remember, by any chance, to have switched out from the game (alt-tab), and game crashed when you alt-tab back? Since the patch went live, I experienced this 4-5 times... Only happens in battle, never while in port.

Yep, the in-game one is smaller and harder to be seen, but it's definitely there. The one from ModStation is not working yet.

Hi. I have Overwolf/Outplayed installed since more than a year now (following the discussion above) and set to automatically record full battles. Lately (since about 2 months), I'm experiencing some change in its behavior, without me actually doing any update, or messing with its settings (maybe it automatically updated itself, behind my back, I don't know). Specifically, I noticed the recording starts when the actual battle starts (instead of the launching screen, where you can see the teams, as before) and it ends immediately after the battle is over (not after manually closing the Results screens, as before)! I repeat, I didn't change any setting. Anyone else noticed this? Would there be a way to set it as before?

I have a vague idea. :))))

@ThePurpleSmurf You said you're a DD main. Then it shouldn't be too difficult. You go in front of a group of teammates, make some smoke under the pretext of hiding/protecting them :) but you actually blind them ... You just don't sit in smoke. Go outside, under the protection of you concealment and spot for them, while they are blinded by your smoke. They will see what you see, and % of their damage done will count for you too. Edited: exactly how @Nibenay78 illustrated.

Napoli seems legit :) First battle after above discussion: 10 of these and that mission is history. I don't have Moskva (yet), but I suppose she can do even better.

Generally speaking, the tankiest and largest hp pool ship will do the job easier than others. Yesterday I had to grind the 11 mil potential for the Dido/Canarias mission. Before that, my GK was holding the record with 3.8 mil potential damage. Now I have this: I have to mention, I had Kuznetsov at the helm, and his talent was triggered, beside the 4 repair parties. Cruiser-wise, for the Dockyard mission, I would say one can go with Moskva and/or Napoli. Just stay at some distance, not too close (but not too far either so they don't lose interest in you), reversing, angled to 2-3 BBs pushing toward you (preferably German ones as they are a bit more imprecise... and preferably not Slava). :)

You can buy it anytime... but if you buy it at the beginning and don't play enough, you don't reach highest level, so you get less rewards for the money. You buy it when you reach stage 60, you're sure you get everything. ;)

Bronze is T5, Silver is T7 or T8 (don't know exactly, never been there). Gold is T10 This might change next season.

Why? I'm pretty sure it's done this way on purpose. If you don't read carefully, don't understand correctly, you will just spend your doubloons thinking of what great deal you made and ending up in a deceive. But the doubloons are spent, and you ticked that box where it says you lose the right for any reimbursement or something similar. ;) Remember, a sucker is born every second. They're just trying to get advantage of this. ;)

It's 100 of each type. When you reach the cap, the system automatically opens the new ones as you get them.
