If lootboxes get banned the industry will find something else to replace them. The same way AAA games abandonned lootboxes for battlepasses and skins. Only F2P and mobile games are using lootboxes now (for whales retention I guess). A lootbox ban would just make WG shrug and double down on limited events with FOMO like they are doing right now.

Yeah and those "40+ players that play 1h hour everyday" are extremely volatile and will quit the game as soon as a new game that catches their eyes arrives. WoWs survived this far only because no other game is good enough to compete with it (the clones are laughably bad). Relying on these peoples doesn't really look like a viable long term plan, but who am I, WG is getting big bucks right now so they don't care. Anyway, about the Support CVs, I'd take the mines and smokes any day if they remove spotting from CVs. As long as CVs will be able to do litteraly everything by themselves and be rewarded for it, they'll still be crap and unhealthy for the game.

I used Petro in asymetric battles. I broke DD stuff with the HE and BB turrets with the AP at close range. I don't know if it's the best way but i prefered guarantee the ribbons by vreaking the turrets, and the high rate of fire compared to a BB helps with switching from DDs to BBs.

With Taihō coming back into the game, WG is gonna activate detonations for CVs and reduce their DCP to 5 seconds of active time, right? WG loves historical accuracy, surely they will be true to their words and do that, right?

WT has enduring battles that last 2 hours, with huge maps, dynamic objectives and respawns. WoWs could try something like that but y'know, the servers would die and the game engine is probably already on the edge of exploding sooooooooo....

1: helps with understanding other classes, and thus playing better with Yammy 2: yeah it sucks 3: You really don't want to shoot on cooldown with BBs, often it's better to hold on your shots to get a better shot later on depending on the situation (you can easily surprise peoples by holding your shot and fake aiming at someone else, hell, you can even just put pressure on ennemies that pay attention and are waiting for you to shoot to turn broadside, except you never shoot so they have no choice but to stay bow in or turn anyway, and in the meantime they eat crap because of that). 4: Bro GK sucks [edited], it eats damage for breakfast due to it's huge superstructure, it has worse accuracy, worse conceal, worse maneuvrability. To me it just looks like that you are simply not playing your Yammy right and just expect it to act like a brawler or something. No offense but personally i'd choose Yammy over GK for Randoms any day. And for ranked you're better with anything BUT GK. (altought i admit i'm super biased against German ships, they just aren't flexible enough for me, and i hate their firing angles and crap accuracy... except for Meck that is good, but it's mainly because the main guns don't suck)

Yamato is also one of the oldest ships in the game, and suffers from weaboo bad players, that explains its bad stats on the leaderboard. The overmatch clearly carries it compared to the latest ships, even if the accuracy is not insane it's still good enough (if you have the Leg mod, and it's pretty much mandatory). You don't want to shoot at 20km with it, you gotta stay at the edge of your concealment and shoot at 15 to 19km max. You seem to clearly stay too far away for it to be really effective. Edit: and this goes with every BB, but POSITIONING is super important, you want to get those broadsides, you want to engage ships you overmatch, you want to put pressure on some important ships, you want to use islands to prevent all the ennemy team to shoot at you (or at least your concealment to disengage).

Sometimes with the camera and angle, the ennemy ships SEEM to be broadside, but in reality they are quite angled and kitting. I'd recommend installing mods that show you the angle of the enemy ships on your HUD.

The worse thing is that I probably would have bought the skins if they were sold separately (like all the other special camos), but I guess the whales were more lucrative...

Tirpitz doesn't have Hydro, a way bigger superstructure and the gun angles are less convenient to use. I don't know for the accuracy of the main guns, but the secondaries on Zieten are more accurate and have better firing angle. Only having 6 main guns sucks tho, especially for pushing since there's only one on the front... you kinda want to just melt peiples with secondaries and not really use the main guns (or shoot someone else with your main guns). I'd prefer Zieten personally, Tirpitz is less reliable and survivable.
