Main battery accuracy, comparisons of players?

:-/ That's not wrong, I tend to become too aggressive, or to stick with a chosen side, even if the ships there are overpowered by an enemy group. Anyway, I've included 2 replays, so I may get fustigated. (And for learning something.) 2. Hello, given that I'll only manage to collect the coal for one of them before their retirement from the armory, either USS Georgia or HMS Thunderer, I'd like to collect some opinions which may be the best investment. There's no point in saying "use doubloons", at this moment, I won't do that. Of course, I'm aware of the reviews from LittleWhiteMouse about these ships, but it would be great to have some more personal point of views as a help for building my opinion. I personally prefer precision (less dispersion) over damage potential, loading speed over damage potential, gun range over barrel numbers and resilience / durability as a must. Speed would be a nice-to-have. I'll be pleased to read your thoughts! Regards, Nightowl

Main battery accuracy, comparisons of players?

Thanks! Thanks a lot for the links; and I'd like to take up on your offer about taking a look at replay files. Help and advice will be greatly appreciated! As I grinded through the missions for getting the tier 5 perm camos (the ones where you have to own a Strasbourg for finishing the first stage), I currently only have coop sourced files. Nevertheless, I'll try to provide some replays of random battles that I assume typical for me. They'll surely be either BB or cruiser. FYI: my most advanced tech tree lines are the US BB (T7 Colorado + Kansas from early access), US cruisers (T7 New Orleans + T6 Dallas), UK BB (15k credits short of buying the T7 KGV) and German BB (T7 Gneisenau) + cruiser (T8 Hipper). I actually researched the T7 DD Mahan, but this is an exception, as I do not favour DD or CV gameplay. I felt quite fond of the Bayern, as it has the things that I currently need: decent robustness, speed and guns; and I like my Gneisenau as well, as she has torpedos. Regards, Nightowl

Help for choosing a ship (Thunderer vs. Georgia)?

I settled right now on the Georgia. Thanks for all opinions! Kind regards, Nightowl

You've got a point, there. But do you maybe know about some listing of what values in win rate, survivability, BB / CL / CA accuracy at tier X are good or not so? Regards, Nightowl

Is It Too Late For Strasbourg for me?

Well. I just unlocked the Strasbourg a few hours ago, and it was worth the grind - and if it's just for its winter camo. The paintwork is just gorgeous... A hull in blue or lilac with golden appliqués and golden barrels... My Strasbourg captain will be the Mariner with the Golden Gun. Regards, Nightowl

    Strasbourg Campaign Guide

Is it just me or is the task 2 of phase 3 (3 stars, Earn 100k Free XP, reward: 200k credits) just a "tiny little bit" too unbalanced? I actually tried it, but even with flags, camo and premium ships, I gave up after roundabout 38k FXP and 4 days of grinding... I finished phase 3 with repeats of the 1-star mission. The 3-star mission of phase 4 was instead a nice, pleasant and relaxing thing (best of five in 12 battles, including co-op)... Regards, Nightowl

Is the game getting worse and worse, do to the player base?

Well, do you know about other ways for avoiding to regularly become the first casualty in battle and stacking up frustration about this? Long range is helpful there, especially when you're stuck bottom tier (what do yo want to do against a T8 in a T6 ship? - this up-tiering hurts really the enjoyability of the game). I'd be happy to learn better strategies, but it already took me some time to figure out that the game mechanics don't reward a Crossing-the-T as much as real naval battles did (Tsushima 1905, Jutland 1916, Leyte 1944...). I'm still puzzled when I see some players slowly drifting back and forth around islands, lobbing shells towards a target when I got the thinking that speed is life (albeit not in Lord Fishers [UK] battlecruiser thinking), and saves your manoeuvrability according to hydrodynamic rules. The latter obviously stays true, but bow-tanking and standstills around obstructions aren't what I would expect for naval battles... What can I do to learn faster than by trial-and-error? The wiki pages aren't exactly the best strategy manual, and I do not know where else I may look. At least, in around one of 20 random battles, there's some collaboration towards a win (I try for myself to advertise a willingness to use the chat for coordination by beginning with a greeting...) Apparently, I'm on the bad side skill-wise with a slightly below average win rate (dunno where my gunnery sits in comparison, some numbers would be nice), I hope that I will improve in the future...
