What literally takes the fun out of the game more are people who should just go and play a TD in World of Tanks where they can sit in the back in relative safety and just shoot anything that happens to come with in range. The moment the enemy is sighted I see people trying to turn their ships and get away. It's like if it isn't 5 vs 1 enemy they can't make a decision and need to run and get as far away as possible. That takes more fun out of the game than any sub ever will.

Why not use your depth charges?

In most every game where my team has had six or seven ships huddling together near the back of the map we never win but it keeps happening. Is this some sort of tactic that has a hidden meaning that I'm not seeing? I've seen games where six or seven ships rushing in and playing aggressively wins but not ones hiding near the back. The rest of the teams gets exposed to the enemy who usually finishes them off then the campers in the back get surrounded and annihilated. I've never seen this tactic work.

You know WoWs is more of an arcade style game than a sim?

Having one or two do this is fair enough but when it's over half the team you are stuck, especially in a BB that has no kind of spotting. One DD can't spot everything when all your cruisers are afraid to move forward.

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

First of all these forums are full of toxic people who enjoy dancing around the edge of insulting people in such a way as to keep the mods not really knowing how to handle it. Well a mod revealed to me how bad her English is and it hit me. This is probably why the forums are such a mess and any time you click the report button that you are told not to abuse the report button. BTW: Never been told that on any other Wargaming forum. Anyway, I ended up creating a ticket with Player Support reporting those individuals from my exaggeration forum but as well as the mod who doesn't need to be moderating the English section of the forums if her English is so bad. How is she supposed to pick up on these obvious insults that people with a good command of English know of straight away? People here can't seem to merely disagree with you but try and not only shout you down but try and stat shame you in the process. In a way it's actually funny but in a sad way how some of you go on in these forums and I really hope putting in a ticket will at least draw some attention to the problem. Oh I've included some screenshots and everything of several people around here who can't seem to control themselves. Just to let you know you won't be shouting me down nor will you change my opinions on somethings if you can't come up with a legitimate argument.

I can't disagree with that but what doesn't help is the amount of people that are allowed to go around on these forums insulting people and trying to shut them up and nothing being done about it.

I don't care what you do. I've already raised a ticket showing the problems on these forums and I won't be expelled from these forums because I'm not doing anything wrong. You can't come into a forum and claim someone is baiting and that be the end of it. I've read the forums so you go and do what you need to do. You think you are going to frighten me or something? Is that intimidation you are trying to do because that constitutes harassment. You really want to go there?? Hmmmmm??????

I'm not seeing any homing to be honest. Just had a game where I was pinged several times and when the torps came I just turned my Vlad and ran parallel with the torps and avoided them.

Well if you aren't an offender you have nothing to worry about.

People are really going overboard to the point of exaggeration when it comes to submarines. While I don't love them I don't hate them either. Every game I've been in the moment when a sub appears it gets depth charged into oblivion. There are two things that need to be taken into account. 1: When dealing with new things people don't know how to deal with it initially so they feel like it's broken. 2: Really good players can take anything, especially something new, and either break the game or make things really difficult until others learn to counter it. Give it a bit of time and subs will just fall into place like everything else. BTW I can't stand Wargaming so this is not defending them just pointing something out.

Never said I found them fun. I'm more than competent to make the statements I've made. I may not have been playing WoWs that long but I sure a hell have WoT and this is classic knee jerk reaction to new mechanics.
