Yeah, we still have those at low and mid tiers. At high tiers, somehow quite a lot of ships apparently lose their ability to move.

- No thick armor and camping potential, unlike battleships - No HE spam capability and not even a single gun, unlike cruisers - No torp spam capability and escape velocity, unlike destroyers - I won't even comment on carriers (who are basically plane spamming campers) So submarines will be the most difficult and challenging class to play, especially after all the whining led to giving every class some means to counter them.

It's T3, so it will be uptiered to T4 more often than not and face twin plane jockeys with a rather painful regularity. Being OP at T3 is worth sh*t with those aircraft factories in the game.

I have a pretty clear idea of what they do care about. People who play to relax (coop and operations)? No. People who play for the thrill (random, ranked and clan) and grab for every presumed advantage they can buy? Hell, yeah.

I got a bunch of free 10 point captains from playing scenarios, so that would not be an incentive for me to pay money. Besides, I have been farming elite CXP for my future submarine captain for some time.

It doesn't. Why should I pay money to (maybe) get a random premium ship? If I am lucky, that ship will be cheaper than if I buy it directly, but still it is a ship that I did not want to have in the first place. Hoarding ships with reckless abandon? No, thanks.

I can easily count the times when this does NOT happen to me...

How about this: You buy tokens to exchange them for a container which MAY drop a ship token which you can exchange for anyone of the ships offered by that container? It would still be gambling, but at least you could gamble for the ship which you actually want.

I have no idea how past "sales" were like in this game, and in the short time I have been here I did not buy anything for money... nevertheless, I expected that items would be sold, not tokens which can be traded for containers which might offer the very very small chance to get the item you desire. This feels like buying roulette chips to buy attempts to roll the ball for the jackpot. If so, I can understand the annoyance.

"A wild enemy appears" - short freeze. Game over - ship stutters/triple vision. And then, there is the issue that I cannot access player profiles in results screens and have to exit into port and open the result screens again to check profiles.

My Gaede commander finally reached level 19 today. T-22 is a nice ship, especially with the 360° rotation and dual use guns, but tier 6 is simply more useful because you can do operations. I have unlocked T7 an age ago and probably could FXP to T9 at least, but T6 is my sweet spot in the game. And of course I am waiting for the return of my T6 submarine.

That is pretty much the defining fact of this game, yes. And it is pretty much the damning fact of this game, too.

Sorry, I did not even make it to 3:30... why is that woman always speaking Russian in videos intended for the entire WoWs community? I am pretty sure there are more players who speak English than Russian, despite WG's best efforts to change this with their perpetual output of Russian fantasies. And then they overlay that video with an English dub (spoken by someone incapable of pronouncing German names) anyway, so why not hiring someone capable of speaking English in the first place? Is the priority of those videos the game content or the presenter?
