    I tried this and it didn't work for me started by just rebooting the game, then we tried rebooting the entire wgcenter. Then we did these again but with a delay before rebooting and still would not work.

    Hi ladies and gents as some of you know many features have had issues today including chat, clan screen etc. Just wanted to make you aware of a soft-lock I found which prevents you from playing any matches and how to fix it in case any of you end up in the situation I did today. How it happened: So basically this is how it happened. Showing people parts of the game that wasn't working (friends list, premium shop, messages, divisions, clan base etc) and in doing so flipped my game mode to clan brawls. When you flip to that mode a small button appears that says 'create division'. If you hit that button it forms a division but because chat features etc are not working right now you cannot ready up and you cannot leave the division via the window as the button on the bottom bar does not appear. Nor can you interact with it via the slot images next to the battle button. This, therefore, prevents you from playing matches because it thinks you are in a lobby and not set as ready. The Solution: The first reaction was to reboot the game but it doesn't remove you from the lobby leaving you still unable to play. The fix we found for this was closing the game and wargaming centre and then initiating a game repair which can be found on the wargaming centre by clicking 'game settings' and then 'check and repair'. But yea whatever you do, do not press that creates division button via the clan battle mode selection the issue can repeat itself. Extra: To my knowledge, this soft lock only seems to affect people who cannot see the friends list and send/receive messages so some players may be perfectly fine but be careful.

    Yea as Kompresor says, just means you use up what you have first before you buy more, it is there to save you wasting resources buying new when no need to.

    Ty for this thread TheCinC so much good information here for new players. Being someone kinda new this helped affirm some things I knew as well as learn a few new things. I am particularly working towards learning the very basics of dds and cruisers and understanding what their roles are atm.

    I can understand and appreciate this stance. Absolutely WG needs to talk to their community but in the middle of a tourney and charity event stream really isn't the place. It absolutely cannot be ignored but the means by which it is addressed needs to be done carefully and in a constructive manner. Perhaps a brief acknowledgement may have calmed things just to let people know it was going to be addressed but by no means should this derail the entire event including the chat room. Also bear in mind how frustrating it must be for the casters to see nothing but spam and the souring of the mood on a matter not directly related to the event in a way they can tangible effect/control, it makes their job far tougher than it need be and it isn't their fault, directing your frustrations at them isn't going to help. Given the situation, they have worked hard and done a good job given the difficult circumstances. Be patient and talk to WG with respect via the right methods. If they care they will respond in a respectful manner and put this right. If once they have had a chance to address you don't agree with their course of action the simple answer is don't make any purchases for a while. Your actions and words have power and part of this is how you choose to spend your money. The main takeaway from here though; be patient, communicate clearly and politely, vote with your playtime and wallet if you are not satisfied with the outcome once they have had time to address it, don't be rash.
