Last Izumo game in the IJN regrind... Things looking grim, been chased by Thundelel and Yamato all game and a chungmu and who knows what, and we're losing all caps. But the enemy team somehow loses a bunch of ships and I push middle, alone, against the chungmu, Yamato and Thunderer. Hi Yamato, do you know about the cheek? I do. Somebody in their team flames him for losing brawl to Izumo. How about flame themselves for being dead and not able to impact the game? Some people. Hello old friend, how I've missed never shooting HE.

Moskva seems thoroughly underwhelming, so probably Yoshino, but unless you really, really want one I'd just save the goal and get Azuma for FXP, it's basically T9 Yoshino with a better heal and without torps.

I find it to be mediocre, something like a very slightly different Minsk maybe. Good ballistics with 7 okayish dpm guns, you can always make that work.

Wasn't around for CV rework, but just getting to several 19 point commanders and then having the ability to generate elite xp taken away didn't make me happy.

I feel like the main battery is so terrible there's not much point in buffing that either, so I just go auxiliaries mod 2. Agree about the repair, dunno what I would run that skill on other than communist bb. Maybe montana to max out the DCP duration in order to annoy thunderers?

Well sure, that seems all sensible if you want to play Groser Kurfurst, but let's say you want to play a ship for some thing? Would you pick Kurfurst over some other ship if secondary memes is not what you're looking for? Say the Kremlin for example?

Yeah, I've decided to go for secondary battery build with concealment for reasonable boats (Odin) and FP for garbage boats (Kurfurst). Optimal build would probably be tank build but why play these ships in that case, anyway?

So I don't actually hate sniper battleships most, I hate torpedoboats who do absolutely nothing good for the game, just flank for maximum failure and zero vision and/or punish any battleship that isn't sniping from range. So. Die!

No, but I've fought people who do this and I don't think flying at the enemy planes to press interceptor all game achieves anything but a dumb loss.

So, I've been enjoying Zao a lot with the rework. I'm unsure as to why, or what has improved for it specifically if anything, but I'm having so much fun. I decided to try outnumbered for a game (the game recommends this skill by the way) Yeah I don't think it works if you kill something. Poor Smolesk, can't dodge Nippon rail guns Zao best. Going back to RPF tho.

Yeah me too, I had 40% WR with it somehow, even while I thought I did pretty good on it most games once I learned it and thought it's a superb battleship. Unlike Montana that I find completely worthless, even worse than Kurfurst.

I think WG realized they made a mistake in making good KM ships (the carrier), probably accidentally, and are now making sure the new KM destroyer will have 30% winrate

No, look at the ranges of the continuous AA damage it has. At most take the skill that gives you +1 flak for blasting bad CV player planes.

How are they in a bad position? Azuma is better than ever, I just got Alaska and it seems pretty bonkers to me with the excellent guns and nonexistent citadel. Until they have their own actual class, they need to have some weakness, because they occupy a cruiser slot.

Yesterday I autopiloted behind a middlish island for a safe spot to send planes from in late game. When I check back on my ship I see it has at some point decided to turn off the course and maneuvered between that island and another, completely exposed and doing those goofy autopilot maneuvers where it's "colliding" with something while reversing. I swear, the autopilot is the worst enemy of the CV.

I'd get... None of them? Maybe Somers for a really good torpedo boat. I was excited for Shikishima because of this video But now I find that I just want to quit battleships altogether.
