People can cry Hanlon's Razor all they want, but Wargaming's repeated lies to the community, and deceit with loot boxes, have crossed the border between "accident" and "intentional" quite some time ago. I first started playing before the Clash of Elements event, where it was advertised that you could earn a Kamikaze R by being a top player, or by grinding the tokens. Turns out, if you grinded enough tokens to buy the Kami R, you were a top player and earned it already, because of how steep the grind was in some of the columns. Not terribly long after was the nerf to Operation XP earning potential. Watching Christmas crates get nerfed year after year, on top of the completely undisclosed "short list" knockout system that we had to find out for ourselves, was next. It wasn't helped that there was speculation that certain streamers got improved odds that were statistical outliers when compared with the data gathered on the forums and Reddit. Oh right, and don't forget the reduced dubloon compensation for premiums that you already had! The Black Friday shitshow sure as hell didn't improve things, because not only could you get a ship that you already had, but the dubloon quest thing had issues. Graf Zep gets inserted somewhere on the timeline, with it's ability to pen some of the strongest battleships in the game with a tiny reticle. The CV and AA rework is still a complete disaster, with AA going from "Forces the CV to make tactical choices early on, and coordinate with the team to attack ships that have had AA systems damaged or destroyed" to "lol what AA? ROCKET PLANES GO BRRRRRRRRRRR". Ships such as the Atlanta got obliterated. Even with a full AA build, DFAA, and Priority Sector online you're lucky to get more than three carrier plane kills in a match. And WG still hasn't addressed the issue of going AA build and not getting a CV, or going for a regular build and getting matched with a CV. Do I go AA build and gimp my fire prevention, detection, and survivability to not even reach half the potential AA power from prepatch, on the off chance there's a CV? Or do I go for survivability vs ships and get completely screwed over the instant that Saipan's fighters come over the mountain? Subs are being ramrodded down our throats in Ranked, despite the issues with them. Others have dedicated videos to this, but their homing torpedos bypassing torpedo belts, going that fast underwater, and forcing the players' already scattered attention to keep track of yet another thing, is insane. Wargaming keeps asking for second chances, and keeps pissing on our good will. People who think that Wargaming really mean it this time should contact me because I'll double their dubloons and premium ships. No, really, I swear I'm not scamming. /s E: also, splitting the forums is downright annoying and a relic of the past. @Crysantos @Crysantos Bullsh*t. WG doesn't respect the players as anything other than wallets that they believe they deserve access to. You (WG) had the sheer balls to make a thread (IIRC it was a stickied thread) about how you had to remove Belfast, Missouri, Fujin, Kamikaze, GC, and Kutuzov from the game because they were overpowered, and remove any ability to buy them directly from the store, and then had the audacity to release them in these stupid Satan crates after padding the drop list with 21 tier 5 and 6 premiums, not to mention that they only drop *after* you've already gotten every single other ship on the list. You also refuse to disclose drop rates or drop mechanics (we had to figure out the ship drop tier thing ourselves), you reduced steel on the snowflake ships (and premiums) and added the stupid container for TierX, you combined clan battles with ranked, you made the PR grind somehow worse than the grind for the Benham after being told how cancerous it was, you still refuse to do anything about Russian BBs, the German commander is dogshit compared to the Russian one, scenarios still aren't back, you still haven't done a proper summer sale for non-Steam players, the Black Friday sale was as scummy as ever, and Smolensk is still cancer. I don't mind you not having respect; that's expected from a business. But I mind when you lie so hard that the CCP Propaganda Wing wants to offer you a job. Edit: Oh yeah, you also changed the rewards for ship dupes in containers so it's worse. I downloaded an entire new client for this.
