I was interested so I looked at what Wiki says about the history of the Indian Navy. Here is the info ... India did not have an independent Navy until after independence in 1947. During WW2 Wiki says India had 8 warships, of which only 3 have references. These 3 are all 'sloops' based on the Black Swan which is the T1 UK 'Cruiser', the names: Godavari, Jumna & Sutlej. There were eventually 78 ships serving in India during WW2, all small warship classes & not one with a native Indian Captain. So there you have it, if I use the Indian flag camo it will go onto my T1 Black Swan.

If you can't recall your CV ship movement order you have bigger problems than ship control. Many CV players don't even bother to move their CV - you could try that. Some CV players order their CV to a corner of the map - you could try that. When I need to move my CV - I simply order it's movement right after I return my current airborne squadron & before I launch the next squadron - you could try that.

I always respond to their surveys too, invicta2012. I doubt WG likes my responses nor even my specific comments. I'm probably just a fly in their ointment. These surveys are likely PR exercises as has WG ever rescinded any of their major updates?

It was me. I doubt that Archibald is or was originally an Indian name. I'm quite sure Archibald goes way back in the English language. Since India has many Indo-European languages as does Europe, I'm sure there is an equivalent 'Indian/Sanskrit' name for Archibald although its spelling is almost certainly different. If one wanted to research it, I'm sure one could come up with the common root compound word in proto Indo-European for 'Archibald'.

That's easy. A south asian native of india or Pakistan speaker of english 'accent'. Historically accurate , as well (no need for all those native south asian languages).

No proper 'Indian' Cpt? I imagine there were some native Indian Captains but likely not many. It is more likely most ships in the Indian branch of the commonwealth navies were commanded by RN captains especially before & during WW2. The Mysore didn't get to the Indian navy until 1957? So this whole 'Mysore' premium ship offering is expressly designed for collectors and for actual WoWS players from India. I will wait for an Indian Commonwealth Ship when and if WG will offer some free regular tech tree ship that actually served in India at some time. In fact, the Indian Navy before & during WW2 must have had some of the RN ships already in the game. That is where I could use those Indian flag camos. On principle, for what WG has done to CVs, I am strictly a F2P player now.

I would say WG is satisfied with their Cpt skill update or they wouldn't have done this. Are they happy about it yet? That is the question. It appears WG never listens to this Forum. They didn't listen when they rammed the CV rework into the game. They , apparently, aren't listening now on this Cpt skill rework. Someone observed some (long?) time ago that we 'Forumites' are a very small population in relation to the great mass of players who never come to the Forum at all. Since WG knows this they can afford to ignore almost all the Forum comments and it is clear WG does exactly this. As long as this update brings in an increase in revenues then WG will be 'happy'.

You spelt 'rig' wrong, no doubt 'intentionally'. & I have another correction for you - just put more of the worst players on the one team & the other team will probably win. A true unicum player (or players, as in a division) will also often influence the result. We can all agree on that. 1. Correct. No one can prove whether the MM rigs battles or not. My money would be on WG influencing game mechanics to their favours, as well. Incorrect, WG is using their patent however they want to. Is WG actively rigging games? WG has to reward the Whales somehow or the Whales would swim off to another game where they can pay their way to advancement (PTA) or buy premium ships to get slightly more wins (BMWs).

You weren't here at the beginning of WoWS, Gebbly, when there was a section of the players who did just what you refer to - they rushed to T10 asap. The hilarious part was that section of the players when they got to T10 then whined that there weren't enough players to play against (LOL).

I don't often look at references but I did since you asked. Personally, I like french fries with just gravy - forget the cheese curds. If I wanted cheese I'd just sprinkle some kind of real grated cheese on my fries (but not both together).

Perhaps. I saw the same advertisement. This offer shows the true state of affairs in NA server. They want to sucker their player base to do their recruitment work for them rather than actually making their product better themselves. Personally, I value my RL friends & family more than subjecting any of them to an increasingly useless and wreaked game. The main problem, ofc, is WG only cares about suckering more new players out of more money.

Anime is just not my generation's thing at all although I believe anime/manga goes back a considerable time. My two children - it was & is their thing (& they are adults now themselves).

Jeepers, Panzer52, you began play in WG games in 2012? Was WoWS even in Alpha in 2012? I thought 2014 was when it began? Only 819 battles? Have you been AWOL from WG products? & you query where is your Alpha flag & ship in 2021? I sympathize that you did not get an Iwaki Alpha but, man, it sure looks as if you just didn't play enough early enough (not to mention barely playing at all over 5+ years). Myself, I got into Alpha play right at it's end & I made SURE I played the required amount of battles for that reward ship (& I did the same thing for the Beta reward ship). Seems to me, Panzer52, you just 'blew it' by not playing enough & not reading the requirement for the reward ship(s). (my apology if I seem harsh, but the reality is what it is)

I'm being more careful which is likely why I'm seeing a few more Ws than Ls. I'm also not playing so much & as soon as I see 1 L, I quit playing till the next day. This might also be it (anything to assist my WR). I'm all for having cowardly enemy BB & Cruiser players camp & snipe. This makes capping & scouting easier when I'm playing a DD.

This cargo ship idea or the idea of convoys is ideal for some permanent Sub play mission when Subs arrive. Otherwise, I don't see this idea flying too far Pikkozoikum.

How to proceed depends on what ships you play &, ofc, how many Cpts you spec to more than one class of ship & even how many Cpts you can or want to get to 21 pts asap. For me, personally, as I run a dedicated Cpt on all my 90 0dd ships - I just spec them as I see fit during this free reset time. I watch to see what other good players say about these new Cpt skills & use what is argued are the better skills such as I can obtain. Since I only have one 19 pt Cpt & an inability to even buy one 21 pter via my accumulated FXP & Elite Cpt EXP - I concentrate on the 'basic' ship class skills for all my ships. Most of these basic ship class skills are not likely to be altered now since WG couldn't cpmpletely wreak the old Cpt skills (just partially wreak them, I suppose). The alterations to these new Cpt skills as they are now will affect those players with plenty of high point Cpts (15/16+ pt Cpts, ones that can even take multiple 3 & 4 pt Cpt skills). I figure most of my ships Cpts will weather any future Cpt skill alterations quite well. As for spending any more money - giving War Cheating another penny? ROFL.
