It's probably some lower tier BB Main Guns with plenty of nasty Secondary Guns that do major damage together (all with AP ammo). Anyone know what BB that might be? Anyone know what BB has the title of 'Super Brawler'?

Change "Resolute and Rapid" Collection to non-gambling/non-money-gouging
Aethervoxx replied to PoetRaptor's topic in General Discussion
I'd prefer WG offer newer collections as I'm running out of the ones I think are even remotely useful. -
Chat ban system is working as intended. WG allows Weasel Players (WPs) to cause chat bans thereby doing nothing but allow WPs to cause chat bans. Yes, it's that pernicious.

Second Flag for Pan-Asian, European, Italian, Dutch Ships
Aethervoxx replied to PoetRaptor's topic in General Discussion
Absolutely, second flags for every nation. I'm still 'still' waiting for a dedicated Clan Flag Slot WG could 'sell' ('Hint', Hint'!) (poking WGs butt) [the 'only' item I would now 'buy' from WG] {FYI, WG . !}. -
I (was) am back, but i'm just so done with this game; also, btw, sharing my WT experience

This is rather 'Orky'. -
I'm predicting this thread won't last long.

We, certainly, should have seen a French CV tech tree long before any Russian one (but then it's their home target audience now isn't it?).

44,000K + battles? This stat is, at least, a respectable one unlike the 32,000K + 'shippoasts' of the well known 'contrarian'

PSA: Last opportunity to reset all captains for free
Aethervoxx replied to Miscommunication_dept's topic in General Discussion
Won't WG have to do another free Cpt reset when the Subs actually go official? I've already reset once from the Cpt skill rework & that was a lot of resetting but it seems to me most ships are still OK for the present skill sets. Why reset every thing again? Am I missing something? -
I give RTS CVs a 10. I give a 0 for the reworked CVs. Just so you all know where I stand (if you didn't already). Sure, Potato, this works for armoured & motorized warships from about 1880 - 1920?. Thing is, WoWS didn't bother too much with this period of history - not the earlier part anyway. This is the era of no CVs. You want a naval game with no CVs then design it for this period of history. For the period of this game, 1900 to 1945+, CVs were around from circa 1920 onwards. Hence, anyone who says CVs have no place in this game are simply being totally unrealistic. CVs became the 'Queen of the Naval Battle' (supplanting the King BB). The discussion of 'historical simulation' to an 'arcade simulation' is another matter entirely. WG tries to do both here & fails on both accounts (obviously).

Would you want to play more in low tiers and what would be required to achieve this? (T1-4)
Aethervoxx replied to Figment's topic in General Discussion
I have 90 odd ships from T1 to T10. A lot of them are what I refer to as 'keepers'. Who wouldn't, for example, keep a US T3 St Louis? I have several lists of ships where I simply roll a dice (d100, d20, d12, etc, etc) to randomly determine a ship to play. It would be nice if there was more inducement, such as missions, to encourage low tier play. -
Why, Major Koenig, do you even argue over/defend/talk about anything Rework CV related? Reworked CVs are a total disaster. All these alterations to the CVs themselves & all the alterations to the other ship classes due to these reworked CVs points to nothing but reworked CVs being an utter disaster. I want the RTS CVS back - all of them (including all the still missing odd tier CVs).

Important message for the community.
Aethervoxx replied to BanzaiPiluso's topic in General Discussion
Aircraft Carriers, specifically, the odd tier CVs now designed for 'whatever it is that is planned for them' - not happening in 2022 even. Ya, right, it takes them over three years from the disaster called the CV rework & the odd tier CVs still aren't back here. Not that this will matter to me, personally, as I utterly hate the reworked CVs & what WG has done to WoWS as a result of this single IDIOT idea. Overall, this message from the higher echelons of WG/WoWS is, imho, just more corporate WG drivel. When WoWS returns RTS CVs to this game, as implemented before the great CV rework wreak only, then, will I spend money on WoWS again. This is my line in the sand - my requirement to consider WoWS as the good game it originally was. -

Depth charges... cause fire or flooding
Aethervoxx replied to RamboCras's topic in General Discussion
I'm thinking Depth Charges could only cause flooding but what do I know about WoWS 'arcadism' where magic flames can appear underwater? -
Very generous of WG indeed.........
Aethervoxx replied to totally_potato's topic in General Discussion
You all realize that gabberworld, that clever SOB, has beat us all to suggesting the first player suggested map that WoWS 'might' include in the game 'soon'. Clever gabberworld . -
Some ideas for WG to make the game even better
Aethervoxx replied to Grumpy_Shark's topic in General Discussion
I've got an idea to make the game even better. Let's have a Space Op (styled on Star wars) where Col Pete is on a space station telling the Ferengi how great he is, meanwhile, it's a race for everyone else to nuke the station with their spaceship. -
No, it does not. It will never get better. These are all reworked CVs you are all referring to.

I like the underwater look myself. -
I very much like your comments Gvozdika, as I like El2aZeR comments. You both tell it like it is & with great humour sometimes, as well. I'm planning to try to do exactly what you suggest - sink these reworked CVs with a Sub (as much as possible). The irony, as you point out, is great.

Aethervoxx replied to totally_potato's topic in General Discussion
A lot of forumites have become very cynical considering what has happened lately & even back to the CV rework & the subsequent direction of WoWS. Am I supposed to say WG doesn't listen to us (like so many others) & not use a term like 'peons'? As to what I referred to specifically, an opportunity to contribute to a map design - I simply referred to a 'historical' offer WG once made for player map design suggestions. Perhaps, this was before your time Crysantos? To be clear here, I, personally, think player contribution to a map design should happen. BTW, I was one of the 200 who sent in map design ideas years ago . -
All WoWS had to do, instead of entirely reworking CVs was just to limit CV play somehow. Then we would have CVs (RTS ones) on all tiers 4-10 & a ship class that was challenging to play. This point of Unicum players dominating CV play - well, the Unicums dominate play no matter what they are playing - RTS CVs, Reworked CVs, BBs, DDs, Cruisers & now, ofc, Subs Hence the continual WHINE that Unicum CV play ruins so many battles is a WASH - half the time you get the better CV player & half the time you don't. I agree 100% with El2aZeR that the reworked CVs are worse than the RTS CVs - worse by a long shot for decent play of WoWS overall. I never had a T10 RTS CV but I did have an Essex & a Taiho - let me tell you running 7 squadrons & moving the Taiho CV kept one very busy. Plus, if you weren't careful, you could lose a lot of planes & you didn't have a plane factory on water like we have today. Plus, we had fighter vs fighter CV play.

Note: ...most likely to involve the community on the second new map planned ... more news to follow ... Who was around for Alpha or Beta? Back then (in NA, at least), WoWS had a map contest & the reward was a T2 premium - the Diana, I believe. WoWS got something like 200 submissions so, I suppose, they've now deigned to let us peons produce one new map. -
Subs are complete garbage in ranked. And not only.
Aethervoxx replied to Andrewbassg's topic in General Discussion
Subs are not garbage in ranked. I was able to sink a 'garbage reworked CV' with a Sub in ranked play. -
If I'm so bad, Sprockett, what about all those others who are worse? I get my share of battle awards & compliments for playing well. Also, making personal attacks shows your argument is bankrupt.
