I really love what WG did with the Underwater World due to subs

You still haven't got 'it'. The 'majority' is the vote that counts (which resides in the Cyprus HQ) -

I think you are failing to see the sarcasm (intended or not) from totally_potato. Same with the reworked CVs. The 'Silent Majority' may be all those reworked CV and/or Sub players who never comment on the forum here OR the 'Silent Majority' may be the WG Management who has the Majority Vote. You pick which 'Silent Majority' is the more likely. -
When this game started out one had to 'grind' - even the good players had to 'grind'. The problems with players who don't really know how to play but get to higher tiers too quickly started when WG unwisely made it easier to grind up the tiers. &, ofc, players who rush as fast as they can to the high tiers, namely T10. (it was hilarious to see in Alpha or Beta times players who whined they had no one to play against in T10) &, ofc, the problem is exacerbated by allowing anyone to buy higher tier premium ships. Premium ships are now more & more of a plague (& this won't change now, now will it?). We might as well refer now to this game (to be accurate, all the WG 'Wo...' titles) as WoWC (World of WarCrap).

I took lovelacebeer's post to be complete sarcasm (excellent sarcasm ). Correct me if I am wrong .

Specifically, I'm running a Devonshire on north side of Neighbours. I'm manouevering in that NW area between the big island & those smaller islets (in that closest channel to the big island). So, what happens? Without warning & not right on the 'beach' or that 'dock feature', I'm having major movement problems until I finally get unstuck. Gee, thanks, Developers who work on these maps - you've just placed some unmarked 'hazard' into an area that never had any problem for manouvering before. -

edited This 'collab' is nothing but a money grab by WG (which is neither good nor bad, in itself) as no one has to spend money if they don't want to. The proper spelling is 'because', not some useless alteration to the english language that simply shows someone who can't enunciate/spell proper words. Lastly, as a fan of historical warships and their proper illustrative depiction, I have every right to say this transformer collaboration is 'utterly rediculous'. -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
Aethervoxx replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Earlier today, I was surprised to see HMS_Kilinowski on my team. I had died early (almost as usual) tho I took out 2 enemy. Even then my team was behind (due to 3 complete idiots, ofc). Then I bounce around view the other players & see Kilinowski and , fortunately, my remaining team mates were good players so we recovered from an early deficit. I was on a Duca d'Aosta - Kilinowski was on a Baltimore. I was top T6 & third? on the team in XP awarded so I did my part I do believe. -
the above video is 'revolting' is all I'm gonna say .......

My wallet is firmly shut. This stuff is strictly for children & younger teens (who are still children). I guess WG knows it's true target audience cause it sure isn't the naval history adult fan. -
As to learning my 'ship class trades', I'm (imho) somewhat competent although the 'resident under the bridge dwellers' would say I haven't learnt, at all, any 'trade' of this kind. I learnt to 'trade' in WoWS, in that I spent money to buy doubloons to speed up my obtaining of ship equipment & upgrades. I also learnt to 'trade' money for some premium ships . Now, I have unlearnt this 'trade' due to what WG has done to this game since (& including) the CV rework. I've, now, learnt not to make 'trades' with WoWS.

That's probably us sane ones, Europizza, however, we are no longer the target audience. Also, TY other posters for giving me the heads up on 'not to watch this garbage video'.

Random T6 Devonshire Win -
OK, what I'm getting from the comments so far is; 1) This convoy mode is a fun brawl mode 2) CVs are not really liked here (no surprise , I suppose) 3) Why T8? Why not a lower tier with less powerful ships? 4) Are the Attackers favoured over the Defenders? 5) It appears that some like this mode & some don't (no surprise, I suppose)
-
Except for the idiocy that is CVs, convoy is great.
Aethervoxx replied to SodaBubbles's topic in General Discussion
What I'm seeing here in the early comments is; 1) CVs are bad for this mode & 2) This mode still has a major problem, namely, allowing the Attacking Side full view of the Convoy Route, otherwise ... 3) This mode appears to be a good down & dirty Brawl. -
I got three SCs (just three T10s) & I got another recent one via fluke. What I got were flags & camoflages - all either Commander or FXP bonuses (50, 25, 25 & 50) which is OK as I can use those. I'm not impressed with the Gamescon Blue Camo - it's rather ugly.

No, I'm not that good a modeller. I try to build the extra parts for the Iwaki Alpha from two models of the Tenryu. The biggest problem is the bridge of the Iwaki - it is 'similar' to a Kuma bridge. The main differences are three; 1) five 140mm Guns (instead of four) there are two 140mm just aft of bridge, one on port side & one on star side as opposed to Tenryu's one along the centerline 2) five 3 barreled AA guns which I made by cutting some 2 barreled AA guns in half & gluing together into a 3 barreled gun (they are super small at 1:700 scale) 3) the Iwaki Alpha bridge is unique. It is unlike the Tenryu so that bridge is useless for the Iwaki model. The Kuma bridge is sort of similar to the Iwaki so I will try to modify it (as closely as I can). If you go to WoWS Wiki, you can see the two models there - the Iwaki Alpha & the Tenryu - the hull is the same. It is the three main differences listed here that are the main differences

This reminded me of what I used to say in battle chat in WoT. I started this clan named 'Popular Front for the Liberation of Lemmings. 'PFLL' for short. I used to say in chat, especially if I got the Cliff map (or one with any water hazard), "Come join the PFLL for the 'plunge'." The odd thing was WG/WoT decided to remove the word 'Popular' from use for any clan. You (the reader here) can make your own conclusion as to why WG doesn't like the innocuous word 'Popular' ....... -
It's not when you think about it but will WF fix this considering all the things they could fix? ...... Wait, I used the wrong term. They've already fixed things (lol).

The forums are so boring lately, can y'all talk about something else...
Aethervoxx replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
Good advice, Venom, now how about you follow your own admonition & contribute a new flavour of your own (like a positive suggestion or two)? -
I'm sick of seeing a 'whine' about 'nothing'. If one doesn't notice what battle mode they selected, that's on the 'selector' - no one else. I've done this myself (once or twice?) & it angered me. However, it was 'my fault' so I was angry with myself. How many times does one need to make this mistake (picking the wrong battle mode) to 'get it' finally. I'd say 'once' or 'twice'. Any more of these mistakes is entirely your own 'imbecility'. Usually, Nambr9, you are rational but not this time, imho.

WG is too cheap to feed it. They have to, after all, build a monument in Cyprus to the owner .
