[Poll] How do you like new "Convoy" game mode?

I've played this mode just once - got placed on the Defensive side & we won. The Attackers didn't appear to have much of a clue as to what to do. One thing I didn't like were the Liberty ships just moved without altering their course so it was easy to collide (with them) just trying to defend them by steering beside or amongst them. -
The flag is rediculous. It will gather dust in my storage loft for useless &/or ugly flags.

Submarine gameplay feels more like a game of chance than anything else

My observations on Submarine game play are these; Surface Movement: get as close as you can to wherever you decide to go (usually a cap) before you go to periscope depth. Periscope Depth: get into your torp range & then try to torp something either non-ping or with ping, in order, a BB, a C, a DD (& if at all possible a CV). Sub Surface Depth(s): I still haven't figured this part out enough. This part of Sub operation is the most difficult & what is with this Sub vs Sub underwater torping? I suspect Subs will be about as popular as CVs = not very. The good Sub players will do well (just like with reworked CVs) but most average (or lower) players will likely quit playing them. -

You'd 'think' the Convoy Mode would be something like this ..... 1) The Liberty Ships travel across the Ocean Map via a randomly determined spawn on west side of map then proceeding to east side destination point (along a variable AI route). 2) The Defending Ships should be Destroyers and, possibly, Light Cruisers? WG does not have Corvettes. 3) Where the 'H' are the Subs? These should be the Attacking Ships. Like ... DUH! 4) Perhaps Six Subs to Three Destroyers? Some such similar ratio (if there are Six Liberty Ships). This is my suggestion. -
I like toasters too but not 'poasters' (like that scrawny cat).

I currently have 89 ships and I play them all. How? I have four lists, one with all the ships & three with selected ships. I use D100, D20 & a D8, etc dice to randomly determine which ship I will play .

Today, I play random battles to simply complete my contribution to Naval Battles for my clan. What do I see? Twelve stinking losses to just four wins. It's not like I play badly. I try as best I can as a 48%er. There's always other worse players on my team. Odd how 'that' works, isn't it? What utter garbage WG MM cheating. The results should be close to 50% win/loss instead of a STINKING 25% - that's a TOTAL BULLCRAP CHEAT! This is not a random MM. This is a WG MM CHEAT! -

It's 'revealing' as to the bias of the MM when a Bot on your team just stops & fails to do anything for a while. Meanwhile, a Bot on the other team plays better than most human players. Oh sure, this is just 'random'. Sure it is.

Yes, those 1 v 1 low tier battles are rather tense too, aren't they? You, usually, have to get the first hits in or it's a L.

That's only 6 seconds in the queue & sometimes you see a CV in your battle just because 'we can(e)' (err, care) .

Welcome to the new RTS Cruiser style of play . The 'play style' where one has to actually 'think' (those 'pesky' Devs , still trying to subvert boring cookie cutter play). -
I don't think new players bother to stay in T1 - T5 that long (unless they are strictly F2P). Most New players jump to too high a tier cause of shiny premium baubles being dangled before their eyes. Yes, the idiocy of the reworked CVs. I'm sure some new players play them just because they are easy mode (as in co-op play). I don't blame the Devs for the CV disaster - that comes from WoWS Management. The Devs just do as they are told (if they want their pay cheque).
