There's got to be 1200+ Clan Emblems registered at WoWS via their mv-smirnov sub-website ( in Ru & Eng). It is ludicrous, therefore, to deny a Clan Emblem Registry. It is, furthermore, ludicrous, to not allow the purchase of a 'dedicated Clan Flag Slot'.

If WoWS continues down this rabbit hole of increasing main gun calibres onto blueprint/fantasy ships then, eventually, T10 will lose more long term players.

I'm not sure which tier is my favourite but I ended up picking T2 for a couple of reasons; 1) You will never see the farce garbage reworked CVs. If you play T3+, you might see a farce garbage reworked CV. 2) I do really well (I'm not saying how) with an Emden (58%) and a V-25 (55%) (this DD is 'FUN' to play).

You got this part partially correct - I have a well documented preference for RTS CVs.

I already have a Ger & US Cpt with several unassigned skill points waiting for Subs in Random Battles. I wasn't going to waste that much time grinding a Sub Cpt with actual Sub play, although, I did try them out. I've decided to limit my Sub play to T6. I can hardly wait to eventually see the Ru superior Subs.

They already have 1950's era ships in WoWS. What is the problem, then, with guided torpedoes?

OK, DEEP_SHARKS, I got my icon for my NA clan to load to mv-smirnov & I have a file for the NA emblems. there are two problems; 1) These emblems are so small you can barely see them when you open the image & 2) How is your clan image supposed to be shown on a ship in this game & where does the image get placed on the ships? This mv-smirnov site is nice & all and it is affiliated with Wargaming.net but what is the point if these images cannot be seen in the game of WoWS? Why is WG even doing this?

I've made a topic about this twice. This has been mentioned by you & others, I'm sure. WoWS has over 400 in house designed flags so it's not like they couldn't offer a dedicated Clan Flag Slot if they chose to do so. Having a Clan Emblem spot or, better yet, a Clan Flag slot for sale - you'd think this would be a 'no-brainer'. I guess WoWS is making enough money they can't be bothered offering an item some players would spend real money for.

A Clan Battle session without CVs? This is like reverting to alpha or beta times when there weren't CVs at all, lol . Which, ofc, WG could actually do again (with some actual 'realism' ), if CBs were limited to T2 & T3 (just 'saying').

Yes, you pretty much ...... did . Just extend this thru to T4 for all the 'fun' ships & fun play down there. There's certainly much less 'camping/cowarding out/hiding/sniping' on these tiers (tho it's still there).

I don't have any 21 pt Cpts - I may only have one 19 pt Cpt - all the rest are lower, tho, at low tiers isn't a 14+ pter usually good enough?

This is my original account (transferred from NA) so I suppose that makes me a refugee(?) here. I've never heard the Ark B referred to as the 'Arcancer'? It's pretty good, by itself & with a decent pt Cpt on it (I do know that). I do have an Arkansas Beta & I am relatively close to getting Halsey (I had thought of placing Halsey on my Cleveland). Furthermore, I even have the Iwaki Alpha & I have Yamamoto Isoroku (presently on my Shimikaze). Would you suggest I put YI on the IA ?

I'm not really a seal Clubber - that's for players who solely play T1s, for example, &, ofc, with a 21 pt Cpt.

This is precisely why I've stopped playing Ranked as WoWS in their wisdom removed irreversible steps in the advance to Rank 1. I refuse to play it after grinding to Rank 3 then getting thrown back to Rank 5 then the sprint ends & I'm back to Rank 10 again? & other than the Rank rewards - a made up farce of a commemorative Sub flag (a hybrid Ru/US abomination) when reaching Rank 1.

I read (mostly)all these comments to date - especially that one 'particularly' long wall of text. My conclusion: Subs are coming to Random Battles, so, accept that or not. If you accept them then play with them or against them. If you don't accept them, then all one can do is uninstall* this game. * I know, a pretty bleak alternative but, then, how many times does WG have to debase this game? CV rework, Capt skill rework, All these AA alterations (see the CV rework). Ludicrous gimmicks (whether skip bombs, area effect bomblets, homing torps, radar through islands ). Ludicrous tech tree line(s) - see Du specials & Ru CVs.

Again, I random up (somehow, this is random, lol) a T6 Andrea Doria, a W.

T6 Random Devonshire Win

Except for the fact, Ocsimano18, that most battles were fought in the open Ocean with nary a spec of land in sight. If anything, this game needs more maps with more open areas of water = 'less islands'.

A great idea. It will be interesting (hilarious) to see how both teams decide how to cover (or not cover) both sides.

I do believe there's a few real life 'Devil's island' - wasn't the movie 'Papillon' about the Caribbean French Devil's Island penal colony? Has WoWS Devs drawn a real Devil's Island on any of their maps? Anyone know?
