MM Balance. Where? When? What (balance)? Why (balance)? Who (with whom)?

This morning (Sun Oct 17) I had randomed my Iwaki Alpha & who do I see in a div on my team but Deckeru_Maiku & MomentoMori_6030. They then invited me to Div some T4s & we managed 5? Ws before a L. T4 sure was fun & probably where I should be playing more.

Today, six battles. 3 Ws & 3 Ls. The Ls were all high tier battles & were all one sided jokes especially the last one. The Ws were all low tier battles & were close battles (& challenging/fun), therefore, other than my campaign I need to complete, I will be playing more low tier random battles.

My one 'selection' (paying selectively, as you term it) would be if WF ever offers a dedicated clan flag slot. I'd pay for that (& that only). As to leaving this game (the topic here), I'm getting closer with every farcial update.

Apparently, there are still Monkeys willing to give WG money. Monkey brains never read the fine print. There is a simple solution to German Containers or anything else WG offers for sale. Don't buy then you won't have anything to whine about.

It's 'it's' modus operandi. Considering 'it's' post count - you'd be forgiven if you thought 'it' lived here. Here, 'it' makes a farcial analogy - something 'it' relies on when 'it' has nothing useful to offer. Just like one I saw earlier. A FDR CV flew out planes to spot then TBs & in minutes the FDR had sunk a Congueror. Meanwhile, in my DD, I'm being spotted (ofc) so a Halland gets to hammer me from invisibility & the FDR finishes me. Score 2-0 for them within first minutes. Fun battle for me & that BB - FDR just killed whatever he wanted to. After this, the battle got worse (rapidly). Such a wonderful battle for 12 players. This is the kind of garbage battles one sees due to a blatant WG MM cheat. WG MM will never change - that much is clear. WG MM is a JOKE, a really sick joke.

A lot of 'content' coming our way. The question is: Is it good? 1) Superships: Six superships coming our way with gimmicks* * one gimmick: Burst of Fire - this looks suspiciously like the auto-loading cannon from WoT. I suppose Superships is one direction WoWS is headed towards. 2) Fifth Ranked Battles: 7 vs 7 T10 ships. ROFL. T10 is already a crap show. 3) Arms Race: T9 & T10 only featuring 'team buffs' at various locations on a map. What is this? Pokemon i-phone location hunting? WoWS already spawns players onto a map with totally ludicrous 'matching'. This 'arms race' idea, imho, is a recipe for more disaster. 4) Visual Improvements & HD textures: We all, or mostly all, like these kinds of improvements. The coders need employment. 5) Underwater Vegetation: Oh rapture of raptures. Just what we need when we take 'Nautilus' '20,000 leagues under the Sea'. 'Aquaman' approves (When will he be a Cpt for sale? - with 'special sub abilities', ofc). 6) Division Achievements: Any proposal to encourage 'divisioning' is good considering the (almost) complete lack of team play most of the time. Note a second borrowing from WoT - 'Brothers in Arms'. 7) Reworked Cpt portraits: Sure, whatever, so long as these new features can be retro-fitted onto current Cpts - some of the current faces & names appear far too often. The next item is from the Wish List which is a section where WG advertises what new Ships/tech tree lines are being proposed; 8) Pan-Asia Cruisers: T5 to T10. Two points - where are the T3 & T4 P-A Cruisers? & what are these T5 - T10 Cruisers & their names, never heard of any of them. We do know why this Pan-Asia Cruiser tech tree line is appearing - simply to offer something to that untapped market. 9) Almost all the new Wish List ships are T8, T9 & T10. No surprise here. Lots of new premium ships for sale. Overall, what is my opinion? I like the new graphic upgrades. Some new Cpt portraits are nice too. Otherwise, I dislike everything else. Still no Italian DD tech tree line on the horizon.

I will never have a Prime account. I do not support business scum. We do see, ofc, that WG has no such reservation.

It's utterly insulting WG barfs out a weeks old code in their News Releases. Just another brick in the wall of the 3 monkeys (see, hear & touch no player criticisms). Did the leopard change it's spots?

Thanks for this informative topic, Sir_Sinks_aLot, I've taken notes from the comments & will apply these to my Yugumo & Shimikaze play. I barely have figured out the Yugumo tho I have sort of figured out the Shimikaze (no slamming me pls) Ya, I do believe, Bear Necessities, I did run into you in a battle in NA vs your 'Vasili_One_Bonk_only' account & my reaction was 'Who is this guy, whoever he is, he's damn good' (I think you, basically, solo wreaked my team).

Me neither, for the most part. I was doing my best to be 'positive' (lol). The 'underwater vegetation' - I mean, is there any question now that Subs are here to stay. When do we get Jules Verne's 'Nautilus' & 'Cpt Nemo' in Halloween mode?

Check the Dev Blog 'Wish List'. Look at the list, then, pick whichever one you like the most - my bet is they all will be premiums for sale & if not that, then sold for coal and/or steel.

Why should we?

Cool, Nibenay78, I'm from another place that has fjords (British Columbia). Our fjords have taller & very steep mountains - the hikes to the top would take all day. Fjords is my most favourite port screen (even if not quite 'BC').

A few options; 1) Who cares? Just play anyway. 2) Don't play Ranked Battles since you have no idea how many battles you may have to suffer through to reach Rank 1. 3) Don't play Random Battles if a Sub might be present. 4) Play Random Battles in T4 & below to ensure subs won't be present. 5) Uninstall WoWS to really give your WG your vote. See, we have a number of options.

WG won't pull this game until such time as they don't think they will make enough money from it anymore. How close is that coming to being a consideration? Only WG knows that & I'm sure we will be the last to be informed.

I say 'No'. Don't remove Subs from Random Battles. WG is clearly steering the MV WoWS in one direction - right at the Iceberg.

Yes, I believe there is something bigger than the CC fiasco. Even bigger than the reworked CV fiasco. Bigger than the Cpt 21 pt skill reset. Bigger than all the AA reworking. Bigger, ofc, than the new extended tech tree ship introduction mode or even the myriad interface changes. Newest BIGGEST Prize goes to (you guessed it) 'Subs in Random Battles'. Just look at all the topics that this has spawned! ROFL!

HMS M2 . TY. Well, with other subs carrying planes , then, you just know the urge to marry a plane to a Sub will be irresistable to WG = a new hybrid class, the 'AS' (a Sub with Aircraft).

Guaranteed : the I-400 will be a premium Ijn Sub for mucho money .
