Hiding Our Stats And Ramifications
Aethervoxx replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
There should never be hidden stats. What is the player wanting to 'hide'? That he/she is bad? That he/she is good? This is a massive multi- player online 'battle' game that is publically offered to everyone, therefore, everything about player performance should be public. All 'hiding stats' does is create suspicion that WG is allowing some imbalance to be perpetuated (whether true or not). -
I got it here but not for NA account, unfortunately.

I got the same message. I won't respond. I could not ruin my ethical reputation by having to pump out Wedgie drivel and be beholden to some scumbutt corporate overlord.

Thanks, WG. Subs now are officially TRASH!
Aethervoxx replied to VeteranGamer84's topic in General Discussion
Ofc, this won't preclude the glorious Soviet XXI Whiskey (D*ld*) class Subs from being made of 'stalinium' now will it, Comrade? -
Quite surreal looking. This would work with Twilight, Halloween, Warhammer 40K or even Sci-Fi modes. Since I won't play any of these, I won't see it but I'm sure the 'kiddies' ( Wedgies real market) would like it.

What little things irk you about the game?
Aethervoxx replied to Hopeless_Guppy's topic in General Discussion
It's that WoWS still won't sell a dedicated clan flag slot. WoT/WoWP has had a clan emblem patch (for money) for, literally, years. A 'dedicated clan flag slot' (considering the, literally, hundreds of flags already in the game) for some money (doubloons) is, imho, a no brainer. -

He (?) began playing in Sept 2015 & plays a lot, a real lot . -
^ refers to World of Warcraft (WoW) as far as I'm aware. Is not the proper abbreviation here 'WoWS'?

Oh, the horror

What's the best looking ship in your opinion?
Aethervoxx replied to CaravellaCaravan's topic in General Discussion
? The Aurora may be problematic but the Emden is not, imho. Maybe yours can't hit but mine can (once you have the range) There's a reason why StL is still a good ship & it's not because you can't aim with it. Ahem, cough*, clears throat. I refer to my Emden as my 'Machine Gun Kelly' & I play it a certain way (I'm not saying - just watch me in battle with it). The only problem is my firing finger gets exhausted, lol. As to StL (or Charleston) not hitting, maybe, Invicta2012, you need more lessons with yours? (LOL) -

WoWP Air photo of Wedgies new development & research port ...... guess what's coming (check those 'Big Boys' on the right).... so even *mb*c*l*s should be able to answer this . -
Mostly, probably. However, there are times when quite a few real players are playing these tiers. Divisioning up is also a good idea. Yes, Wedgie sure did. They don't care for low tier & new players. Their new model is to support T5+ and, ofc, to push players into T8+ asap. Wedgie has to keep low tiers semi-conscious (infesting random battles with Bots) just to get new players out of these tiers so this is why there are Bots in Randoms, as well as Co-ops, of course. The only solution to low tier play (to make it more palatable) is to division there as much as possible &, also, to play the low tiers when there is a maximum amount of players online (the 20k + numbers = the more the better). Some players - the ones who despise what Wedgie did to CVs (the rework), the introduction of Subs & pretty much everything in between - prefer to (or will) play low tiers (just for the 'fun' factor). Yes, you may still find real 'Seal Clubbers' - recently I saw a 3 player div in T1 & all these 3 mostly played T1 ships & I bet they were running high pt Cpts, as well. I, myself, have recently divisioned with 2 forumites (I can't name or shame them, ofc) from another clan & we slummed in T4 where we had lots of 'fun'. Sometimes there's mostly real T4 players playing in Random Battles (few Bots & few CVs even) so I say 'play T2 to T4 anytime you want to'. There's lots of fun ships to play there. & PS: 'Division Up'.

Ummm, OP, I doubt very much Wedgie is going to 'trash' their current 'Big Idea'. They haven't even monetized it by offering premium Subs. No , OP, Wedgie won't trash their TRASH, not yet, NEVER (in fact). If anything, their trash pile will simply grow bigger & BIGGER & B-I-G-G-E-R ! -
Will we ever see a decent japanese tier 9 premium BB again?
Aethervoxx replied to Xxx_HuisBaasBob_xxX's topic in General Discussion
Yes. Wedgie won't let any potential source of monetization to sink below the waves. As Macarthur92 illustrates these Ijn concepts, I'd bet we will see one or two (or even three) new Ijn high tier premiums. -
... aka ... 'Cpt Skill reset for doubloons'? ... there was a recent post about this ... apparently, the entrenched Wedgie insider 'underlings' barely do (they, apparently, like giving atomic wedgies to the player base instead).

This train didn't take long to go off the rails.

Sure, after all you then become free advertising for a scamming vehicle repair business - it's another WIN for them. & the T-shirt is not free - you already paid for it (& more) already .
-
fixed this for you ()

Good point Col. Pete. Now Wedgie doesn't even care.

Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
What does anyone expect with the direction Wedgie is going. T2, amongst other low tiers, is actually a lot of fun to play & 'bonus', there's nary a CV or Sub in sight . -
Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
This happens because Wedgie cheats with who goes onto what team - all based on who pays more. It's subtle, ofc, otherwise very few players would stay for any length of time. -
I'd say it's more like Rock - Paper - Scissors - WoWP - Dildo.

I'll bite here ...... to prove, no matter what, they are right?

WoWS recently had a poll for three Ice type maps; Iceland, Faroes & Kamchatka. The votes were close on all three, however, Faroes won by a head. We are 'supposed' to see an Ice map soon. Apart from this, I believe WoWS implied there would be another new map, as well. So, this is two new maps. With WG's record, only believe this (will happen) when we see this.
