Whatever the next 'phases' of WG monetization might be, I will refuse & resist them all*. * If War Failing ever offered a 'dedicated clan flag slot', I would spend for that ........ but I have no confidence WF ever will (they've already had years to do this).

You might have missed it... WG now offers YouTube channel membership subscription for 1$ monthly...
Aethervoxx replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Oh, sure, I'm going to rush out right away to spend a $ dollar (for me this would be a 'Loonie' plus change) to Wedgie approved You Tube special access? -
Have submarines become irrelevant?

This ^. Just like the horrid farce CV rework. -
My answer too .

"Historical accuracy" and what it says about WG's attitude toward players
Aethervoxx replied to FixCVs_Nautical_Metaphor's topic in General Discussion
'Selling product' is the term I would use. Huh? What? Where .....? One never knows when my school (of flying fish) might show up (to slime your nicely swabbed decks). To which I will add; LOL & ROFL. -
Where one spawns is one of many ways Wedgie 'arranges' battle results. For instance being under tiered & being placed on a weak flank versus the ships two tiers higher than oneself. Oh, sure, 'that' was 'random'.

Ark Royal and Bearn: Why bother with the Bearn?
Aethervoxx replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
My questions are: 1) Why is anyone on the Forum buying the Bearn? & 2) Why is anyone on the forum supporting Wedgie with ? -
Looks interesting and all those shallow areas would make this map suggestion 'fun'. Great idea , therefore, Wedgie will not use it .
-
Bismarck, for it's infamy (bad &/or good) .
-
At one point T5 was mid tier. I suppose, T5 is the now the new lowest tier . The ARP ships were common some years ago but now they are sort of rare as I don't think the mission chain to get them is available any longer & Wedgie suggested players sell them if they didn't want so many copies of the same ship. Looks somewhat like a 'banana' boat doesn't it?
-
I have the 8 ARP sisters (Kongos & Myokos). All of them but one came with a 10 pt Cpt so you can't complain too much about that (just skill up that lower pt 'squeaky voice' Cpt, that is, if you can stand the voice, lol). The colours & patterns on them take some getting used to &, since Wedgie suggested one sell them if you didn't want so many - just because that was a Wedgie suggestion , I refused to listen to 'that'.

Rot spreads.

... except, on the water ,,,, you can't dig .... holes. You win a medal , nevertheless, for adding (zero) to this topic. How could Wedgie possibly be pro-Russian?

Guess the ship in the next Blacked Friday event.

The M/V "Whatever Wedgie thinks will sell the most.' That's its real name whatever Wedgie ends up naming it . -
Monarch. For some reason it 'works' for me on some level & I see more Ws (I think) than I normally do (& I need all the Ws I can get, lol).
-
Except the Innuit never used 'war canoe' paint of any kind. The best known canoe art is specifically west coast indigenous. So, this is all idiot BS from idiot researchers from WG. Fine. Except, again, this camo was on a Corvette & not some 'fantasy' barf from WG. & why make the camo exclusive to the Yukon? This is another 'insult' to Cdns (of whom I'm one). This Sackville camo should, certainly, be made available for the Haida (&, quite frankly, as an expendable camo for anyone who wants it). PS: I'm completely on your side, Andrewbassg, on this WG BS farce.
-
Wedgie relies on ignorant player base that doesn't read anything & especially not what is said on the forums. I suppose the actual # of Yukons bought is lower than your figure quoted so we can hope Wedgie took a bath on this particular fiasco .
-
This is such a hilarious topic that I had to add plenty of funny emojis for others reactions including Dr Frankenstein .
-
TY for this, Andrewbassg. A few additional points; 1) The Sackville is the only surviving Cdn WW2 Corvette in existence as a Museum Ship (I believe it's in Halifax harbour). I have two Uncles (now deceased) who served on Cdn Corvettes in WW2. 2) It is nice the Sackville camo is an option, however, for the 'Yukon' only? ROFL. I'm a Cdn but I won't give money to WG to get any of this. This is a WG insult to Cdn players. If WG gave me the Yukon & threw in the Sackville Camo for FREE, then, fine, I'd take it. They can't ..... does a Leopard change its' spots? As to what the Camo design for the Sackville was or might have been I offer this info - I believe each Corvette got their own 'camoflage' designs while in port for a refit so these camo patterns could & probably did change over time. The records of what these camos were is dependent on surviving photographs (which are almost all black & white photos). I think this is what Chobittsu mentions as 'textures' & 'some elements are missing'. I have a model of the HMCS Alberni (an Uncle of mine served on it) & one has to interpret the colours used on the B & W WW2 photographs (I did get some info on singular details that only those who served on her would have had). Cheers.

Satan crate drop rates and ship list
Aethervoxx replied to arttuperkunas's topic in General Discussion
I got a down vote from 'Gwynblatt11' for saying the same thing (in different words). Gwynblatt11 is failing in her self-appointed crusade (supporting Wedgie). Maybe, Gwynblatt11 likes 'atomic wedgies' (I just know I don't) . -
& War Failing has still not offered either the Northern nor the Western Dragon ships .......
-
ROFL. There's always 'nuggets' of humour if one looks for them .
-
You got down voted by Gwynblatt11 (just like me, recently). Keep up the good work . I'd really like to see 'Steel Panthers' as a combined arms game in 3D (rather than 2D) if they could pull that off properly. They should be able to. Steel Panthers has literally everything researched for a combined arms type game from 1930 onwards for, practically, every nation including ones you'd not even normally consider playing. If that game ever went properly 3D (keeping it's original 'game soul') I'd never play anything from WG again (even for free). WG scum would have to pay me plenty to stay.

I, early on, made the decision to get a T5 Ita DD whenever this DD line appeared - for two reasons; 1) I like 'historical' ships, if possible & 2) I do not have many T5 DDs (or some reason like that, lol). So, 'it'sa Maestrale fora mia' .
-
My initial thoughts on these illustrations .... my, don't they all look so 'similar' (esp the T5 - T7)... were they all so 'look a-like'? You think Wedgie is 'economizing' with their Developers resources? Weren't there more Ita DDs than just these to choose from? Why these ones?
