Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
The abysmally bad movement of the StL Bot. Nothing but a blatant CHEAT by Wedgie can explain that. -
Dispatching low hp ships that are angled or bow-on or stern while using a BB..
Aethervoxx replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
This is always a good idea - dispatching low HP ships with your BB - even if they are bow on to you. Does it matter where exactly you aim? It's more whether you get enough targeting accuracy with your shots & that is always a WG crap shoot. -
I don't know & I certainly don't care. I barely play kindergarten mode since it's so easy to maintain a high 90% WR (like over 97%). I am aware that War Failing caters to self-flagellating Egos that require kindergarten mode to make themselves think they can play well.

Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
Here is a blatant CHEAT. I've seen Bots in T2 battles do better than the WG cheat Bot we had. I offer plenty of timed screenshots as proof. Playing a T4 CV & doing OK but at end of the battle I see this CHEAT. You can judge for yourself. This Bot StL actually stops three times behind an island & then reverses, then stops - all the while doing nothing to assist in the battle but eats 5 enemy CV torps & some rocket fire - all due to the most blatantly idiotic Bot movement. Simply amazing the enemy didn't sink it. A blatant WG CHEAT to swing the game is the only explanation. Screenshots with the team points totals indicating how much our Bot AI was cheating for the enemy team. Just one more way the game CHEATS for one side of the battle. This example is so obvious I had to show it as an illustration of WG WoWS MM CHEATING. Take a good look at where 'Milo' the Bot StL ended up on the team scoring list (& we somehow got the W even with this blatant Bot CHEAT). -
WG MM is a blatant CHEAT - always has been, always will be.

In your opinion - what is the BEST thing that WG did in WoWs in 2021?
Aethervoxx replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
... anything 'best' in 2021? ROFL . OP, you are jesting ? LOL . -
In other words, it's a POS.

My wish is that the owner of WG sells me his intellectual property for a dollar. Then, as myself being CEO, WG products would have a chance to be balanced, enjoyable, fair & properly historical to play.

Quick question about ships ramming and damage dealt...
Aethervoxx replied to DerpyMcDoom's topic in General Discussion
Hence, the hotel Yankee flags are rather useless except, perhaps, at the lower tiers where ramming may happen more. Do not expect WF to implement any kind of realistic ramming results into this game, not after all this time that ramming has been ludicrous. In reality, barely any ship would ever be sunk by ramming. When was WF noted for real physical effects in it's arcade garbage? This^. & I had to give Pete a 'thunbs up' () - his answer was so succinct (& this time: to the point) -
If you gamble at a gaming establishment expect the gaming establishment to win. Solution: (don't participate)

LOL. I note in 'log in window' a number of the Santa crate offerings are on sale (reduced prices). LOL. Are they not selling enough? LOL.

We all know CVs are 'contentious'. Some dislike them. Some dislike the older RTS CVs. Some dislike the newer reworked CVs. CVs are an integral (& necessary) ship class for a 20th century naval arcade game. As Wedgie includes CVs why not allow for both types of CVs? Allow the player to choose whether he/she will play the reworked type of CV or the RTS type CV. This would allow all the CVs that Wedgie has designed to be played again, especially all the still missing odd tier CVs. In this way, the players could discouver & find out which type of CV was better - the reworked type or the RTS type. My money is on the RTS type. What could possibly go wrong?

Can we have the Nelson back again please?
Aethervoxx replied to Sir_Sinksalot's topic in General Discussion
Not to worry, Sir_Sinksalot , as soon as Wedgie requires more cash flow it will magically reappear. Be patient . WoBBs giveth & taketh away with regularity . -
Abusing the report system and game changes.
Aethervoxx replied to The_Angry_Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Wedgie lets players abuse the report system. You can't even call another player 'the spade he/she/it is' (calling a spade a spade) as these juvenile Spades get so easily offended. Have I mentioned that Wedgie loves giving 'atomic wedgies'? I'm suspecting some loose screw in Wedgie's inner infernal machine does . -
You are 'joking', right? WG is including Subs in the game. After all, WG knows better & will institute them as they want to (even with all the evidence their particular institution of Subs will be disastrous). WG doesn't care. WG didn't care about CVs with that particular 're-wreck'. WG only cares about suckering new players into spending money on their now mutilated arcade game. WG already knows most old time players do not or will not spend money on now garbage WG products. This is why the Forum is just a vent space for those who really care about WoWS, nothing more (although the players who really care about WoWS are becoming fewer & fewer over time).
-
Does it surprise you, El2aZer, that the ignorant still maintain that RTS CVs were more powerful than the idiotic reworked CVs? Facts don't mean anything to the ignorant. The fact is, WoWS has gone downhill ever since the CV rework (I refer to virtually all the changes WG has made since the CV rework) & Wedgie will never admit they actually ruined their own game (for money, ofc).

Play ranked they said, it will be fun, competitive they said
Aethervoxx replied to Realazio's topic in General Discussion
I never said anything about a single battle - this is your delusion here Pete & you being argumentative for argumentatives sake. Why are you being argumentative? I sure don't know . -
Play ranked they said, it will be fun, competitive they said
Aethervoxx replied to Realazio's topic in General Discussion
This all depends on the team. I've seen 40% players do very well - finish near the top of the team. Since the teams are built entirely by Wedgie anything is possible - even a 40% player advancing faster than a 'super unicum' (whoever they are). Hence, Pete, even here you 'stretch' an analogy just to be as argumentative as you are wont to be. -

Aethervoxx replied to Realazio's topic in General Discussion
This is why I no longer bother to play Ranked. It's, quite frankly, RANK. Why play a blatant Cheat MM there when one can see the similar MM cheat in Random battles? -

He creates lots of wood shavings from scratching all the furniture too. Besides a rake, one requires a vacuum -
If you follow my comments about CVs (especially) you will find I'm totally against reworked CVs & totally for RTS CVs. As for Subs I think they should be included but not in the way Wedgie is attempting to shoe horn them into this now utterly bent out of shape game.
-
That would cost them money so that won't happen.

That's 7 new claw marks from the scratching cat since I last saw the furniture .......... toothpicks, anyone? -

Aethervoxx replied to Realazio's topic in General Discussion
I see Pete has found another scratching post. This cat sure ruins a lot of furniture, doesn't it? It's not his ego, it's his incessant clawing. -
My point for suggesting inclusion of both types of CV As I said, my is on the RTS CVs & whose fault is that? Wedgie can include them both & adjust. We all know how well Wedgie adjusts . Nice to see someone with 'blinders' on. Reminds me of the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink". We know the answer to 'that'. Wedgie (weegee) does all kinds of bending, stapling & mutilating to replace & fix things (whether they are competent at any of this is in the eye of the perceiver). My opinion is they mutilate .
