It sure is, Europizza. The bizarreness started with the Farce CV rework WRECK and has continued since then. I don't play CVs on my EU account although I try to terrorize T4 players on my alt NA account with them. I wish I could play RTS style CVs.

Suggestion for skill-based MM
Aethervoxx replied to SolanumTuberosumRex's topic in General Discussion
A more balanced & somehow skill based MM is obviously what this game requires. For example, if a 40% WR player goes on one team then the other team automatically gets a 40%WR player, etc until both teams have an exact mirror of WRs (if WR is the determinant). However, the downside to this fairness & balance will be much longer wait times in the battle queue. Telling how the longer waits &, in general, longer battles were more the rule than the exception in the early years of WoWS. Now it is exactly the opposite. All due to WG, imo, only interested in fast play and not caring at all about the game experience. -
After only 5 hours this post is shut down without explanation? I did not see anything offensive - just a difference of opinion discussion.

idea introducing ramming ribbon or achievement
Aethervoxx replied to VedranSeaWolf359's topic in General Discussion
Why? -
WG is sooo poor ..... (ROFL) WG, certainly, YES. WT? I can't say since I'm not playing that but I will take your word for this (as you are 100% correct with WG). Me neither. It's been some years since I played WoT but whenever I go log in & see the alterations (& new nonsenses) I figure War Failing is finding new ruination tweaks (one can always bend, fold, staple & mutilate one more time )

I have Sub Captains in my reserve, however, I'm not bothering to play Subs (when I earn the access) unless I randomly roll up one of the Subs on my main list of ships (almost 100 so it's basically a 1% or less chance). When Subs finally go live, I will only play T6 Subs at this very infrequent rate - pretty much exactly what I do now with reworked CVs* * I no longer play CVs here in EU on my main account as, on principle (&, in fact), I despise reworked CVs. I want the RTS CVs returned. *I do play T4 reworked CVs on my alt NA account (as a form of revenge vs WG - I want to make new players dislike WG enough to quit playing any kind of now WoWS crap).

I am a 'refugee' (politically incorrect humour) from west coast of NA playing in EU server & I barely ever see any 'ping' problem or slow in game response. I have a good internet provider & a decent enough computer hence I figure most players who have ping or connectivity issues - these likely are poor internet and/or lower level computer capabilities. It may also be a WG server problem - once in a blue moon they admit to a problem on their side & give us some free premium time.

You make some very well argued points, tocqueville8, so I gave you a thumbs up. However, your argument can be flipped to the other opposite side of the coin & the argument is equally valid such that one might say ... Islands are the bane of this game.

You referring to RTS CV activity? That's, exactly, the CV activity that I would like to see return to WoWS. The dumpster fire that is the CV rework WRECK can burn, baby, burn & we can, imo, all dance gleefully around that bonfire .

PREM TIME post inexplicably shut down
Aethervoxx replied to Aethervoxx's topic in General Discussion
I did. I had typed a response but it wouldn't register & then I saw the lock (which happened while I was typing, I expect). Normally, there is a removal of offensive wording & which moderator did that (& why) rather than a blanket & sudden lock. There already had been 23 odd responses (all seemingly acceptable) so the big 'CHOP' was surprising. -
The Bots get improved play for the side that WG wants to win (the side WG cheats for). The side WG cheats against still gets the Bots who are ... &, otherwise, making moves to intentionally lose the battle.

Do we expect War Failing offering more open water such as Ocean? Ocean is already on the endangered sand box list. War Failing simply creates a vanilla sand box & recreates the same into various versions (of the same old, same old) & calls this variety. After all, War Failing has to have the same similar sanitized sand boxes for all their kindergarten level brain cases, since their target audience couldn't handle any alternate style maps.

The player base = the wolf WG = the moon (it's not hearing us)

2022 - bypass grind and the flip the bird at pratice
Aethervoxx replied to ZeuSueZ1337's topic in General Discussion
This is aimed, solely, at the ignorant newbie players, of which, there are too many. War Failing is succeeding in draining their cesspool to a new low . -

Aethervoxx replied to ZeuSueZ1337's topic in General Discussion
Technically, not until the 2100s sometime . -
Don't buy anything. War Failing does not deserve even a penny. Note: your poll, OP, is incomplete as you fail to offer the 'don't buy any premium' option in your vote.

I used to be a bb player like you, then I took a BALANS in the knee
Aethervoxx replied to ARE_YOU_HUMAN's topic in General Discussion
This game could easily be called WoBBs. -
Don't (since you are asking).
-
... which is why it won't happen . & I'm not sure it's really all the Devs fault - all these WoWS changes since the Farce CV rework. The Real Villains are the Upper Management who are pushing these garbage ideas.

Do you think the game is dying and will be shut down soon?
Aethervoxx replied to Cirno9999's topic in General Discussion
As of Jan 2, 2022 it appears WoWS is surviving & growing. There's more players on in EU & NA this weekend. Are the new players spending money? This will determine the long range future of WoWS. -
Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
I didn't sink anything with my CV although I was doing my best to damage the enemy & spotting. I did my part. Ofc, I would have liked to have sunk a few ships. The battle was very close & the Bot StL AI play (at the end of that battle) can only be described as a blatant CHEAT by WG MM to try & lose the battle for my team. -
Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance

Immaterial & ofc you know that. Another Col Pete misdirection. Whether our Bot StL outperformed their Bot StL (before the abysmal performance I refer to) is immaterial. -
Why does the WG not take player statistics into account?
Aethervoxx replied to xKrisgard's topic in General Discussion
WG has to reward their paying customers with, at least, a somewhat favourable MM. It's, usually, subtle how WG does this. In some battles, it is blatantly obvious WG favours one team over the other. Anyone with any brains can figure out how WG stacks one team over another. Plus, WG can do whatever they want to with targeting resolutions (a really obvious way WG cheats) Why should WG play fair to F2P accounts? F2P accounts don't make them a penny. & WG does take a players stats into account. The only STAT WG cares about is 'How much & how recent has that player spent money on our product?' = that's the only germaine statistic. -
Matchmaker Discussion Thread & MM Balance
Aethervoxx replied to Excavatus's topic in General Discussion
Bots, usually, have no problem sailing towards a cap even with islands in the way. I should have mentioned that near the end of that blatant cheat when there were the four CVs left & that one Bot StL - the Bot StL couldn't even move to the enemy cap (although it was close to it) nor did it make any effort to move into range to shoot at an enemy CV (which, ofc, were spotted). Instead, the Bot StL just basically parked, going forward & backwards in a limited area so it could eat 5 torps & almost get sunk. Talk about a blatant WG AI Bot CHEAT.
