Of course WG never sanctioned what he said, you never listened to anything the community, super testers, and cc have ever said. We have years of bad balancing choices in the face of constant criticism to prove this. Sorry but the CC program is very one sided. WG gets the exposure, while still ignoring the community as a whole. You do not want skilled players. You want competent Yes men/women who will help sell new content that is both lackluster, and predatory. Actually you can but that would really be telling and hurt you more. Im going to save this post and when I see a CV in kots I will remind you of it and ask how much your integrity is really worth.

I mean I would love one for the Puerto Rico and Yoshino, but then we get others who tend to be a bit too powerful already getting possibly more. Smolensk getting could be hilarious. -
Agreed. Because of him I learned how to use terrain and track targets with no clear line of sight. His rants and tilts were hilarious because we have all been there and it was reassuring that we were not alone.

bit of Hyperbole. You had a whole clan on NA not only blatantly stat shame, tk, be racist, but even found a way to rigged ranked play and they still exist and not a single one was banned. The only thing WG gives F about is Money. When they took away Ichases CC it was over the Graff Zepplin. A ship he encourage people to buy and then after the video they changed it before release. He made another video about this called them out for it and apologized to his viewers. Lost his CC the next day. EarlGrey got nuked over the PR winter event, again MONEY.

The stat shaming thing is bad do not get me wrong but lets be honest. Stat shaming made up like 1% of the decision. Constantly pointing out piss poor balancing and bad design for fake ships is probably what put a nail in his coffin.

I actually enjoyed the Riga, mind you I think most of the complaints about t9 ships are unfounded and generally show a lack of creative flexibility in the player.

Hmmm pretty sure most people called this. WG being SHADY AF is not really to much of a stretch. The fact there is virtually no accountability on the team means this sort of thing will keep happening. Short of everyone stopping playing or a some targeted acts of vandalism at Lesta studio and its employees things will not change. Just the way it is.

I tried the lighthouse build was very uncomfortable but playable for me. Going typical conceal build and playing it more like a open water gunboat dd however HELLA fun.

I can think of two ships that can pull this off easy. 1 is the Smolensk. The other is Conqueror. Its actually pretty simple to complete as in those ships I tend to get closer to 20 fires in a match. -
Heri is good, but it requires a bit more skill then most cruisers. Personally I love the ship as its speed and agility plus range makes damage mitigation against deadeye a bit easier.

So today grinding on the Minnesota, a ship I have come to love, and this we did this. I would not have been able to do what I did if it wasn't for a very determined dd player who was not only spotting but finishing off everything I molested with Deadeye. While yes a well played BB can have an impact, it relies on vision and team effort. When you have 40 second reload you are even more reliant on these things. -

Now I agree the game is in a bad state. I agree something needs to be done. I do not agree with your view of where the problem lies. Dead eye has just made the obvious problem even more noticeable. You in return have come back with the typical "Woe is the plight of the DD". I agree it is rough for dds right now, however a dd doesnt have to worry too often about a single salvo doing 100% damage to it. Cruisers do. Before Deadeye the most damage I had ever done with a bb in a single strike was 52k. and that was on a bb at 6km away that I surprised. This was less then a week ago at 19km while the bb was in the middle of a turn. Deadeye has greatly impacted the survival rate of cruisers and by extension of lack of support for dds. Now you can argue that it was a meta correction as Cruisers had like 4 years where they were awesome. You can argue that a singular cruiser has the ability to alpha strike a dd like a bb alpha strikes a cruiser, You can argue that radar which is only 33%(and sometimes not even that) of the t7-10 cruiser meta has a negative impact on DDs, You can argue all these things but still not be anywhere close to the topic. Deadeye makes punishing a cruiser easier, thus a cruiser pushing to support a dd is not only challenging, it is damn near suicidal. As long as that remains the case then sad to say the burden on dds increases a bit unfairly. Trust me cruisers love shooting dds. In terms of base xp and credits there is no better target to do damage to, however if the effort results in instant death you have to ask yourself is it worth it. Most cruiser players will say no. Oh sure we will still shoot at them, but will we push up to our concealment range? Probably not. The risk is greater then the reward. This is one of the reason many people are playing less cruiser and more BB. No one likes to be dead in the first 5 minutes. Now we can keep arguing and counter points each other but will that change anything? Will WG suddenly pay attention and go they have a good point. NO. Trust me I had like 20 itemized points countering everything you said but realized it was a wasted effort because at the end of the day as long as the system is people will play the way they feel is best for them. This may not be ideal to winning or even be agreeable to you, but they are making the best of a bad situation. Im not saying it is right but if you can argue that players should not play in their best interest then should not the same argument apply to other classes? While a dd may not directly suffer the effects of Deadeye as much as a cruiser does, it does have an impact on them in terms of support. It sucks. -

Best radar is 12 and that last like 25 seconds. That radar is a consumable thus has a cooldown and a skilled player knows these stats and can easily play around them, Hell Im an average player and even I know them and exploit them when playing a dd. I can not tell you how many moronic cruisers I have baited their radar had them chase at me only to double back catch a side profile and feed them torp soup. Its not a hard concept to pull off as long as you are expecting and prepared for it. -

Not true at all. And here is why. Already a bb can take a rate of fire reduction of 16% at t9-10 and take adrenalin rush which at 50% life would be 26% total rate of fire reduction. There is also another 8% they can get when they are in brawling secondary range as well which would jack that to 34% at 50% health. This still does not invalidate the fact that vision is the most important aspect of all weapons usage and why the team that kills of all the enemy teams dds have a greater advantage if ship counts are near parody. In short they will get to fire first and not have to waste time reacting to being fired at and sighting in. As for your German BB rush scenario that seems more a failure of map reading and situational awareness more then anything else. So clans playing smart to limit the advantage of a class they deem powerful is your complaint? Seems pretty smart read on the meta. As for cruiser accuracy. Under 10km you are right the accuracy is pretty good say 6 out of 9 shells is pretty common. Over 10km you are looking closer to 4 out of 9 and that number drops pretty consistently as the dd actively dodges the shells. If you look at say the Des moines in this example what you would get 840 per shell so at 6 that is 5k. Now the dd is turned stern towards the cruiser and is actively dodging while increasing distance, so figure only 3-4 are gonna hit if that, but wait saturation so now thats gonna be about 1260 damage. 3rd shot coming up 2 will hit again saturation but oh no the Des Moines just lost 3/4ths its life because while trying to engage the dd he had to show all his guns in order to keep the dpm up leaving it only 12k hp and with 15 seconds left to be spotted. So will the Des Moines take the shot to get another 800 damage on the dd and possibly die? So to review the Des moines took 37k or more and the DD took 7k ish so sacrificing 75% for 33% makes very little sense. Since the BB is able to solve the CA problem why not have the CA be able to solve the DD problem just as consistently? Why not scale up the damage a cruiser can cause a dd? Should not the cruiser get 50% HE damage instead of 30% against a dd. Even then the out put would only jump up to 11k suffered by the dd and the cruiser still suffering 37k or more. Yet we do not see this. If there was a true rock paper scissors system then a cruiser vs dd would result a greater effect against dds. And yet we have never once see that. Now you may think I am taking a dump on dds and I do not play them. I actually do and find them fun, I also hunt dds because I know what needs to be done and I like winning more then damage total masturbation. What I am pointing out is that You can not keep arguing something based on a skewed and non existent system. If WG wants cruisers to support and hunt dds they would have never nerfed ships like the Worcester and in fact would make them a bit more survivable. They have not. In fact they have gone the exact opposite of this. Meta changes, so should you.
