How do you rate Black compared to other T9 DDs? Is it a great buy? I have a great time playing with Groningen. Would you rate Black as worst than Groningen or same?

Im a returning player and got exited by the oportunity to get Black. But this is just too much to pay. You are actually paying 2x the price of a T9 DD. Yes, you get a few other things too, but its just cosmetics.

They are free and if you use them you get free camo.

1. Learn to look on the minimap every 2-3 seconds for map and position averseness. 2. Remember that the game lasts for 20 min, not 2 min. Don't die at the start of the game. 3. The longer the game lasts the bigger impact you wil have on the game. You will get more and more dangerous as the game goes on. It will get easier for you to cap and do dmg. 4. When you are capping always have a plan how to escape easily. Look on the minimap again. if you turn left what will happen? can you get cover? Best way to cap is by having the tip of your ship facing out of the cap on your side. You cap "backwords". This way you can easily escape. 5. Never stay broadside in a smoke. It will be very easily to torp you.

Its balanced around tier ships, not WR. That's why its called random. Weekend is the best time to take a brake from World of Warships.

Just dont get isolated. Stay together With other ships and you will get AA support.

Nothing wrong with using 203mm guns on Mogami. They are great and very powerful.

Interesting topic. I found IJN BBs to be great. It takes time to get use to the guns since you need to take more lead than other BBs. Fuso and Amagi are probably the best BBs at their tier (not including Premium ships).

If you dont like the Moskva playstyle than stay away. It costs a lot of resourses so if you are not sure about the purchase its better to just save.

I was wondering if there is an explanation somewhere about what is written on the Kobayashi camo? I have it for the Yamato and woud love to know the meaning/translation. I searched the internet but without luck.

In 10 days the new Ranked season stars. If you dont get the Izumo up to Yamato by that time get the rental Yamato and practice in ranked games.This should help you understand how the ship plays, the straights and weaknesses.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on how to improve DD gameplay 1. Map awerens. Its important for every ship. You have to look on the minimap every few seconds. You want to know the position of the enemy DDs and cruisers with radar. Radar on cruisers apear at T8 and up (with the exeption of Belfast and Atlanta). Not every cruiser have it, but its good to know who does. 2a. Learn that the game lasts 20 min, not 2 min. There is no reason to rush to the cap and try to cap it first just to get detected and killed. Using the spead boost to rush in to the cap will also lead to your teammates beeing too far away. If you engage in a gunfight with the enemy DD your teammates probably wont be able to help you. The DD with best support will win the fight. 2b. The longer you stay alive the more dangerous you are for the enemy team. Enemy ships will get isolated and targetting enemy BBs will be much easier. You will also be able to cap Points easier. 3. if you are capping a point, never stay broadside in the smoke against the enemy team. Its just a question of time before the enemy DD will send torpedoes into the smoke. 4. Best way to cap a point is with the nose of the ship backwords, looking at you side of the map. This way you can easly escape out of the cap to a safer position if you are detected. Be aware of your surandings. If I get spotted now, can I turn left or right? have a escape plan even before you are detected. 5. Dont sail around the map just to try to find the enemy CV. More often than not, you will be just wasting time and a good CV player will kill you. 6. Stay close to or infront of your friendly ships. Specially BB players will apriciate your spotting. If you have 2-3 friendly BBs grouped together, the chances are high that the enemy DD will be lurking around (if alive). With your presence infront of BBs you will spot the incoming torpedoes. 7. Know your enemy. This one is very hard for new players becouse they lack the experiance and knowledge about other ships. What are the streights and weaknesses of the enemy DD? what is he`s detection range? will he be able to spot me first or will I spot him first?

Ouch This is specially frustrating when you love the ship you are playing, but cant get good results.

This actually makes sence. To be able to do large amount of dmg you need to stay alive and your teammates not to do much dmg. If your teammates do average og huge amount of dmg you would win the game much quicker and do less dmg.

Best thing is not to bother With WR and just have fun. If you focus only on stats you will get burned out. If stats are very important to you than you should compare results based on the ship you are playing at and how other players preform in it.

I dont have any of the ARP ships. Just bougt the Ashigara bundle and Iona.

I bought 1 container just for fun and got Siliwangi. Great dd btw.

I fined Yorck to be a very strong cruiser. Actually all german cruisers from T5 preform good if you can play to their streights and dont show broadside (as all cruisers). They are good firestarters if build for that.

Some good tips here. We can all improve and get better.
