Wanted to get the Massachusetts Black on sale as a treat for myself, ended up using the dubs for the Dunkerque Black. Got in those containers an Yoshino Black and a Scharnhorst Black. Since I got the Yoshino already, got the mission for 2500 dubs and 25000 coal, grinded it a bit and with what I had left and these new dubs, I got 5 black premium containers. One of them had the Massachusetts Black in it :D. And I'll probably have the coal for the Napoli by the end of next week as well. Overall, a good deal (in as much as a spending cash on virtual items in an online game can be a good deal). Also, not today, but over this Weekend (with all the special economic flags on).

T5 - Viribus Unitis - such a meme ship... I don't like t5s that much in general but Derfflinger left me with a good impression. T6 - Izmail/ Graf Spee - because tears of new cruiser players are delicious :P. T7 - Nelson/Fiji - I almost always have fun in these ships.

T8 - Odin - so fun when you get in a knife fight. T9 - Bajie - because it's fun to citadel CVs from across the map in the first half of the game. T10 - Thunderer - bow in and i'll burn you, broadside and i'll dev-strike you. What's not to like? I like the Edinburgh, Seattle, Minotaur and Yoshino a low as well, but those three above are top of my list in their tier.

If you like playing BBs, get it. It's a very nice ship, it's decent for grinding credits. It was my first premium ship and event to this day, as I got more and more premium BBs, I still enjoy playing the Nelson. Just know that the best way to play a Nelson is to show the enemies your angled rear while shooting over your shoulder while they are reloading.

Managed to get both Georgia and Thunderer this XMas with the snowflakes coal and all. Very very different ships... Georgia feels like the biggest cruiser in the game. Can punish cruisers that miss-step with those guns easily, secondaries grind down DDs that get too close and you can play with the throttle to make most BBs miss at range. But overall squishiness means most T9 BBs will eat you alive if you are not careful and even some T8 like the Bismark and Vladivostok will make you life hard. Thunderer on the other hand needs a lot of situational awareness. Yes, you can blap things across the map but you have to keep in mind that the shells take a lot of time to get there and most cruisers and even some battleships can dodge them if their player can think and breathe at the same time. So with the Thunderer I find myself looking for targets of oportunity, what ships are in a bad position, where can I go to get the best position for my shots, what enemy ships are the most dangerous for my team and so on. It's a slower and more methodical gameplay than say a GK, where you try to dodge shots and get close enough for your 12 gun broadside to make mince-meat of the enemy. P.S: also, since most people are quite salty about the Thunderer, they tend to shoot it when it's spotted... you can actually divert quite a lot of fire from the enemy to yourself if you can use the throttle corectly :D.

Last game of the day and got what is probably my best game in WoW. Yes, I have Dead Eye on the Thunderer, no, I didn't just HE spam. Also, I think the fact that I used the Mighty Jingles as my captain helped a lot.

Now, I'm a filthy casual player and just play the game for fun, but in what I've played since the commander rework came online, I'm finding that Dead Eye itself comes with some serious downsides depending on play. Here's my logic: If you move constantly in a straight line, if you park by an island and bow-tank (Russian BBs, wink wink, nudge nudge) or if you are too static, a ship with Dead Eye (especially the T10s snipers) with an average player will savage you. BUT If you pay attention to what's going on around you and you zig-zag, vary your throtle and overall make yourself as hard to hit as possible, then an average player will actually have a harder time hitting you as you have plenty of time to dodge shells coming from more than 20 km away and them falling in a tighter grouping means less chance of a lucky hit. Basically, my current impression from the game is that Dead Eye reduces the DPM of average players when faced with somebody that knows how to maneuver the ships. By this, it can be said it encourages getting good at aiming, at maneuvering your ship and promotes a less static gameplay.

In the 3v3 T9 ranked sprint I ranked out using the FDG and every time i saw a Georgia on the enemy team, I could only think: " Mmmmm... Snack Time " :D. It's such an easy ship to bully :D. Otherwise, as a filthy casual player, I had quite a lot of fun in the Gneisenau. But I do notice most people potato a lot in it and either think they are DDs or they YOLO thinking they are a pushing ship and get focused down (happened to me a lot back when I was playing it).
