ahem *Moskva perma camo* ahem ahem *commander skill rework* ahem I'm pretty pessimistic about the whole prospect. Especially the fact that base earnings have been adjusted. I wouldn't be surprised that the economy has been rebalanced with PvP modes in mind and that co-op (where base XP earnings are a lot lower) is probably going to be scrwd, especially at the higher tiers. Granted, calculating the side effects of readjusting the base earnings in a large variety of circumstances (match type, tier, tier difference, damage, percentage damage, capture points etc) is a non-trivial exercise for WG. But I still don't have my hopes up.

Same here after Steam pre-downloaded the next patch. WoWs initially when into a exec -> disconnect -> re-exec infinite loop. Then I started to get that error message. That seemed to rectify itself, after a few hours, though. Shame @Fatal_Ramses is still having the problem.

Cruisers are one of the most varied classes in the game. So I think it's kinda odd the MM treats CLs, CAs & super cruisers as the same. A legit MM line up could be - Neptune + Mino + Colbert + Woostie against Alaska + Petro + Goliath + Napoli Shame that the MM can't pair off each sub-class, but I guess there's not enough players and queue wait times would suffer.

Anyone remember Jingles' first Puerto Rico dockyard vid (on PTS) where he went through the directives and said this looks pretty good. Then it hit the live server and the mission requirements went up by a factor of six or so. The conclusion he drew on his next vid was "Do you ever get the feeling you've been used?" So, yeah - I've little faith as to what happens on PTS servers these days.

Same here. I suppose the writing was on the wall with the perma-camo for Cherbourg, which required a hell of a ( BaseXP ) grind plus community tokens.

Tightening my tin-foil hat : I do wonder if this was sponsored by WG to lure the less gifted players into changing their account names by spending doubloons. Players with oriental sounding names have good win rates, therefore if they change their name it'll make them a better player. Right?

Yup, stuff you own gets included - sometimes with a better bonus if it got rounded up to the next best XP booster. Not sure about missions / campaigns / collections that reward perma camos. Do you just get cosmetic fluff when you complete the Five Epochs campaign or do you get something actually useful?

That's my concern. Not so much what we already have - already knew about some of the conversions of stuff you own. But is the value of crate and mission / campaign rewards preserved (to some extent) by including XP boosters. EG, do you just get the cosmetic eye-candy when you grind through the Five Epochs campain, or do you get equivalent perma bonuses too. Otherwise, this is a massive nerf, especially for newer players who can never earn the XP bonuses we have had.

An accurate metaphor for state of our accounts a few months after The Great Economy rework has hit the fan.

Have WG confirmed that perma camos from crates, mission & campaign rewards come with no permanent XP boosters included? If so, it also makes the Five Epochs campaign almost pointless too. Pretty sure there's some collections that rewarded perma camos too.
